They had 2 dogs of their own and Im glad my girls were able to get along well with theirs since they never had any contact with any other animals. One thing that's important to us is keeping you updated too! We send LOTS of pictures and videos throughout the day because if we were boarding our own dog, that's exactly the kind of updates we'd want to receive. You can expect multiple updates each day (and also at night!), so you'll always know how your pup is doing. Over the years, we've learned a lot about dog behavior, nutrition, grooming, training, and overall dog care. We also own a Standard Poodle, Thumper, whose sensitive stomach and training journey have taught us the importance of routine, patience, structure, and consistency. We've cared for many dogs and understand that every pup is different. We don't expect every dog to behave the same or fit into one routine. Instead, we adjust based on their personality, energy level, comfort level, and individual needs. Since Thumper has chronic pancreatitis and a very sensitive stomach, we understand how important it is to stick closely to feeding schedules and routines - and to watch what goes into their tummy like a hawk!! So if your dog takes medications, vitamins, has a special diet, or follows a certain routine, just let us know. We're happy to accommodate! We're generally the best fit for friendly, social, house-trained dogs that are comfortable around people and other dogs, and enjoy a quiet home environment. For everyone's safety, we generally don't accept dogs with a history of aggression or excessive separation anxiety. Dogs have the ability to heal people without ever saying a word. They’re family. Other than raising multiple dogs through out my childhood, I have 2 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking. I also have 1 year of experience volunteer at my local animal shelter where I walk, feed, and love on these beautiful dogs. As I mentioned previously, I am schooling online so my availability to care for your babies is mostly open except for somedays of the week after 6 pm as I also work part time. My schedule can be adjusted given a week’s notice ahead of time as your pets are my number 1 priority. About: My family has had a wide variety of dogs and cats. I’ve had experience with managing puppy's and other senior dogs, I have a puppy of my own right now. My sister is a groomer as well. I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to work with and play with new and old dogs and cats. I have a very flexible schedule. I have a large backyard with grass and brick walls and a small Shiba Inu and large Akita to keep your dog company! We have baby gates and lots of space in the house to separate the dogs if you prefer. Down the street from a park so more than happy to take them to it
