Boarding her has become more and more fraught these past couple years, which is why I was so excited to find Erin on Rover. When we had our meet and greet before going on vacation, our dog was legit disappointed when Erin left after 30 minutes! It was readily apparent that Erin has a genuine love for and knack with older dogs such that I knew she'd be perfect for our special needs doggo. Dropping our dog off before vacation is generally pretty stressful for all involved, but not with Erin--after spending 30 minutes getting our pupper settled, she was calm and not stressed about me leaving at all. That was a first! Erin was also very communicative while we were away. She provided loads of pictures and videos along with fun updates about how they were doing and any questions she had about our doggo's quirky behavior. Best of all, it was clear to me that Erin truly cared about our pup as much as we do. If I could give Erin more than five stars I would. We will definitely be sending our Pippa back to "Camp Erin" next time we're away!”

About: -I’ve had a cat of my own for a couple of years but have grown up around dogs - I work from home so I have a flexible schedule for walks and playtime - I love taking cute and silly photos of your furbaby I work from home full-time so I have flexibility. My typical availability is 7am-10am and 3pm-8pm during weekdays, with the ability to do shorter checkins and walks during the typical 9am-5pm. I have a senior cat that likes dogs (not so much other cats). We have grass right outside our apartment and it’s an easy walk to Clark Park.

About: I’ve not only been a pet parent for many years; I’ve also volunteered at local animal shelters and done pet sitting and boarding for cats and dogs. I love animals and treat every one as my own. Nicknames-Carla/Carolyn. I’m available for weekend/holiday boarding to allow pet parents the freedom to have a well deserved getaway experience when desired. Dogs/cats in my care are never left alone. Only one dog is in care at any given time unless dogs are from the same household and are friendly with each other. There will never be more than two dogs on the premises simultaneously. I’d be delighted to have your pet join our happy home and enjoy a fun mini vacation of their own. I treat each pet as if they were my own. In my pet centered home, I provide loving care and supervision at all times. I remain on the property for the duration of your pet’s stay. Dogs are always on leash when outdoors. Doors are always secured. Dogs are secured in vehicle if transported (leash with seat belt or in secured carrier. Cats are in secured carrier if transported. Since I have 2 cats, pets are compartmentalized in my home , if needed. At pet parent’s request, oral/topical medication may be given if I feel comfortable administering.
“Jordynn and her Family were Amazing – I really felt like she cared about my dogs and how they were dealing with being in a strange house with strange people. She sent a lot of pictures and messages so we felt very connected. She has an absolutely wonderful backyard that is very large and fully fenced in. She was very responsive to their needs and tolerant of their idiosyncrasies. If my kids were of age I would have her babysit my two legged kids as well as the four legged ones. I love that she is so close and I will be posting her Rover information on our community email list since she is so close to our location. Spud spent one night at Thalita's, while we were at a concert. I knew he was in good hands, especially after spending a week with her earlier in the summer. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to leave a review for that stay. Spud always seems so happy staying with Thalita and her family. He is on vacation too!
I would absolutely recommend and use Erica again. She really stepped up when two days before our trip Stella tore her CCL and required more care than she was originally booked for. Erica sent photos and daily updates. She also took her for stroller walks and administered her meds. I felt very comfortable leaving Stella in her care.
