“Uklu and Andrew are the best! Our dog zuzu had such a great time with them. She was active and happy when we brought her home. We can’t thank them enough for providing for Zuzu so wonderfully!!! We will continue to have Zuzu stay there for sure!”

“I couldn't have made a better choice than Khaing to watch my cats. I got updates with photos every day (as requested) and could tell the entire time how much she put into caring for them. Prompt responses whenever needed. 5 Stars is not enough! Thank you Khaing!”

“Amy was amazing with my dog, Roxy!! I highly recommend using her. Roxy is an older mini goldendoodle and Amy was so accommodating and sweet with her. I got daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable and Amy made the process super smooth. I booked her last minute and so glad I did. I highly recommend and would use her again!”

“My dogs love Hollie! This was their second stay at her house. When we arrived they hopped out of the car to run to her house without me. She takes excellent care of them. Milo and Loki will be back for more TLC.”

“Our dog has stayed with Thalita multiple times and each time she has been very well taken care of! “Maya was amazing to work with! The house/yard was perfect, large areas indoors and out for the dogs to run around. I left my two small dogs with Maya and her family for a long weekend, and they loved it, and it was an overall great experience. I would highly recommend her for dog sitting — very communicative, I knew my dogs were comfortable and happy and saw lots of pictures, and in a great spot. Will definitely use Maya’s services again, it was great!”

“Christine was excellent! Stayed in touch, sent pics, asked all the right questions to take care of our spoiled boy! Clearly a dog lover; we won’t hesitate to use her again! Thanks a million and come visit!”

“All the hype about Dante is true! He’s communicative, accommodating, and really great energy. He asks a lot of questions to ensure my Kado was well taken care of. Dante is someone who truly loves what he does and that makes me happy. I think Kado and I found a permanent sitter until Dante retires us lol”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Newtown Square
Mike and Maya took such great loving care of Meek. I received videos and pictures of a very happy dog a few times a day. They have a big, well secured back yard that Meek could run and play with the other dogs. It was a very happy environment for Meek. I will definitely use them again!

George was amazing with my pup. My 5-lb Yorkie is quite anxious, but seemed at ease with George from drop off. I received plenty of pics and updates. My dog was quite relaxed at pickup, and George worked with me as I was a bit early for my pickup window. Would highly recommend - George really does seem like a "dog whisperer". 5 stars!

We had a great first experience boarding our dog at Yufan’s house. My dogs absolutely loved him and felt comfortable right away. He was also very convenient and flexible when I needed to add extra days to the stay. I really appreciated how accommodating and caring he was. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
