About: I grew up with a male Shih Tzu that I took care of for most of my life! I enjoyed playing with him and taking him on walks. I've also helped my sister raise her female Shih Tzu. I am a student with a very flexible schedule. I have a light class load this semester and a good amount of free time. If your pet requires a specific schedule please let me know ahead of time. I love interacting with dogs and spending time with them. I am very active and have a lot of free time, so playing with them will be no problem for me. I live near Clark Park and the Schuylkill River so I can take active dogs on long walks.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover. Prior to moving to the burbs a few years ago I worked in the city in the animal care field on and off for many years. I’ve worked in the feline veterinary field, managed a doggie daycare, as well as provided dog walking /petsitting services. I work at an elementary school 10 months out of the year. So summers are for entertaining my kids and animals. My partner and I live in Middletown, Pa, we love it here! We have two kids, ages 7 and 4. We also have two dog friendly cats (Dexter, 8 and Basketball “B.B.” 4). My partner and I lost both of our longtime doggy companions during the pandemic. Recently we’ve been missing the presence of a dog in our family and home. So, I promise if you choose us you’re pet will be treated like family. Although we have a large yard we have not fenced it in yet. However, I am excited and ready to spoil your baby with lots of walks!

It was my first time having to leave my dog, Max, with someone he did not know, and meeting Laura before going on my trip was very helpful. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She keeps you updated and answers questions promptly. Laura sent pictures and videos to show how Max was doing, which I really appreciated. If I need a sitter again I will definitely bring Max back to Laura, and I know he'll feel comfortable, and I will feel better about leaving him.
Our 2 year old mini golden doodle, Pepper, had a lovely stay with Leah and her mini golden doodle, Ollie. Leah communicated frequently and provided great updates. We knew Pepper was doing well the whole time, and it was nice knowing Pepper had another dog to hang out with. Two walks a day and a fenced in backyard with exceptional care from Leah, and another dog was a perfect situation for our energetic pup. 11 out of 10!
