“Sherry was so kind and attentive to our dog. She had us do a meet-and-greet, which helped my dog to go to her when we dropped her off. She sent us pictures and videos while we were apart. She walked our dog frequently. We are grateful for her kindness to our dog.”

“Andres was great! My dog loved staying with him and his wife and was very content. This was my first time using Rover and he helped me understand the process and answered all my questions. I will definitely book with him again. Thank you Andres!”
“Andreah is great, she sent updates throughout my Dogs stay with her. I’m usually very hesitant giving my dog to other people and she helped put me in ease with her level of care. I think my dog had a really great time as well which is what really matters!”

“Pepper had a great time at Kevin’s! She got some play time in with others pups and I trusted she was in good hands. Kevin was easy to communicate and arrange logistics with as well. I also appreciated the photo/video updates. Definitely recommend!”

“I would not hesitate to recommend Tony and his excellent care the next time you need to board your smallest family member. Our Molly, who is in her 14th year, had just started to display some cognitive dysfunction as well as what we perceived as sadness in the loss of her best buddy, her brother from the same litter. Tony was very attentive and observant of Molly's behavior as she tried to adjust to her new surroundings. At times she did need some extra care due to her confusion or anxiety of her situation which Tony lovingly provided, all the while making sure that we were receiving videos and feedback as to her experience.”

“Bryce was available on short notice and remained responsive over DMs throughout our interactions. I got lots of photos and updates on Wallace during his stay. I would recommend anyone to place their pet in Bryce's cade.”

“10/10… My Bella was made to feel at home. Yuiko sent me regular daily updates while I was away. I felt at ease and Bella felt at home. I will be reaching out for fire services again. Thank you Yuiko♥️”

“I had a wonderful experience with Saya and David . They were caring and attentive, and my dog felt completely at ease and well cared for while staying with them. It gave me such peace of mind to know my dog was in such loving hands. I highly recommend them.”

“Madeline and Roman went above and beyond with Ringo. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating - especially with drop off and pick up times. We felt at ease that Ringo was in good hands and we enjoyed getting photos from Madeline showing us all the fun he was having. We will absolutely be returning the next time we go away!! We could not recommend Madeline enough.”

“Kate is our new go-to for dog sitting. she provided such wonderful 1:1 care for our pup. He was very well taken care of and I felt well taken care of by her too, knowing my dog is in good hands made my vacation all the more relaxing. Thanks, Kate!”

“I felt that my dog was in great hands and well cared for while I was away. Eric was very responsive and communicated regularly, which gave me peace of mind. He was also flexible and worked well with my travel schedule, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free.”

“Olivia was absolutely amazing with our senior pups, Luna (our Husky) and Kiwi (our Pug). It’s not always easy finding someone who understands the needs of older dogs, but Olivia was incredibly patient and kind. She kept us updated throughout their stay with sweet photos and check-ins that made us feel completely at ease. Kiwi still has bursts of playful energy, while Luna enjoys a slower, calmer pace — and Olivia balanced their different needs beautifully. We came home to two happy pups and that says everything. We’re so grateful to have found her and would absolutely book with Olivia again in a heartbeat.”

“Liam was great with keeping me in the loop and sending pics! He was flexible with drop off and pick up. I’m glad Raff had some furry friends to play with as well :)”

“Ben was so great!! Took amazing care of my baby doodle and sent multiple updates. He was always available if I had questions. He was so friendly and clearly cared for my dog as if it was his own. I will definitely use again!!”

About: Hello dog lovers! I have a lot of experience with many different kinds of dogs including size and temperament. I have owned and walked active dogs who love long walks and runs, dogs who prefer shorter walks, fearful dogs, friendly dogs, stubborn dogs, and reactive dogs. I don't just walk dogs for Rover, I love dogs so much that I volunteer as a dog walker at a shelter where I have been provided training classes including behaviorial, manners, impulsive, and social. I have walked dogs twice the size of me who jumped, tugged, and mouthed at my throughout the entire walk, so if you have an excitable dog, or a dog who is not leash trained, I'm your girl! I am also a certified dog trainer with offleash K9 Philly. I'm very capable of handling many different kinds of dogs.
About: Hi there! I’m Barb, a lifelong animal lover who’s happiest when surrounded by wagging tails and purring cats! I’ve been part of the Rover community since 2018 and have cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities over the years. Animals are truly my passion, which is why I now work with them full-time through pet care and grooming. I’m currently a part-time groomer at Petco, which has given me even more hands-on experience with animal behavior, handling, and making pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. My husband and I are both huge animal lovers — honestly, if it were up to him, we’d probably have 10+ dogs and cats by now! 🐶🐱 Our shared love for animals fills our home with warmth, laughter, and plenty of fur (the best kind!). We live in Glenolden, where we offer a safe, loving, and playful environment for pets to feel right at home. Our house has a fully fenced yard where pups can safely run, play, and enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time. We also share our home with our two rescue babies — Oliver and Tazzie — who have taught us so much about patience, love, and understanding every pet’s unique personality. Because of them, I have a special soft spot for anxious, timid, and rescue pets who may need extra reassurance and care. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, playful, or just loves extra cuddles, I treat every animal like family. My goal is always to provide a stress-free experience filled with love, attention, playtime, and peace of mind for you while you’re away. I also have experience with medication administration and caring for multiple types of animals, including cats and small pets. Your pet will always be in caring and capable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! 🐾 Pet care is part of my everyday life! I plan my days around the needs of the pets I care for. Always ask me and I will reply as soon as possible! I specialize in providing trustworthy and attentive pet care in the comfort of your homes since 2018. You can have peace of mind knowing that your pets are in caring hands. “Amy was amazing with my dog, Roxy!! I highly recommend using her. Roxy is an older mini goldendoodle and Amy was so accommodating and sweet with her. I got daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable and Amy made the process super smooth. I booked her last minute and so glad I did. I highly recommend and would use her again!”

Swarthmore pet parents share their Rover experiences
Where to begin? I’m traditionally a mess when I have to leave my little man to travel for my job. Or should I say I used to be a mess. And then Juliana entered our lives and my stress vanished. Could not have been a better experience. Spoiled our little guy while he was there and keep me in the loop with adorable photos at every step. Very grateful for Rover helping make this connection.

Our experience with Andreah was wonderful! She is calm and caring, and clearly loves dogs. Best of all, our Maltipoo appears to have enjoyed himself with Andreah and her family. Andreah provided just the right amount of updates and photos, making it a smooth experience for us as well. I would happily book with Andreah again when she is available.

My shepherd mix thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Ian and his pack playing in the backyard and taking walks. She’s typically timid around men, however she gave Ian kisses when she left demonstrating his loving connection with each and every pet as if they were his own.

Our 2 year old mini golden doodle, Pepper, had a lovely stay with Leah and her mini golden doodle, Ollie. Leah communicated frequently and provided great updates. We knew Pepper was doing well the whole time, and it was nice knowing Pepper had another dog to hang out with. Two walks a day and a fenced in backyard with exceptional care from Leah, and another dog was a perfect situation for our energetic pup. 11 out of 10!
