About: Hi there! I’m Barb, a lifelong animal lover who’s happiest when surrounded by wagging tails and purring cats! I’ve been part of the Rover community since 2018, caring for pets on the side while working my corporate job. In 2024, I finally followed my heart — I left the office life behind to care for animals full-time, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made! My husband and I are both huge animal lovers — honestly, if it were up to him, we’d have 10+ dogs and cats by now! 🐶🐱 Our shared love for animals fills our home with warmth, laughter, and plenty of fur (the best kind!). We recently moved to Glenolden, PA, and I’m so excited to offer a safe and playful space for your pets to enjoy. Our home features a fully fenced yard where pups can run, play, and soak up the sunshine while staying safe and supervised. We share our hearts and home with three amazing rescue babies — Haven, Oliver, and Tazzie — each with their own personality and charm. They’ve taught us so much about love, patience, and the special bond we share with our furry friends. Every pet I care for becomes part of my extended furry family. I take pride in creating a loving, stress-free experience — full of cuddles, playtime, and peace of mind for you. Whether it’s a walk, a visit, or an overnight stay, your pet will always be in caring, capable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry crew! 🐾 Pet care is part of my everyday life! As a full-time pet sitter, I plan my days around the needs of the pets I care for. My flexible schedule means I can accommodate same-day and different times bookings. Always ask me and I will reply as soon as possible! I specialize in providing trustworthy and attentive pet care in the comfort of your homes since 2018. You can have peace of mind knowing that your pets are in caring hands. I like to focus on maintaining routine and comfort for each pet, I prioritize their well-being and happiness. I understand the value of a clean space and make it my mission to leave your home exactly as I found it. My extensive experience in house sitting/boarding has equipped me with the skills to handle any situation with professionalism and care, ensuring that both pets and homes are well looked after. Your trust is paramount, and I am dedicated to exceeding your expectations every time.
“Rachel was fantastic! My daughter and I were touring colleges in the area and needed a place for our dog during the tours. Jiminy was spoiled with cuddles and he definitely had a great time!”

“Alexis was great! She took time to ask questions about my dog Duke to really make sure his brief stay was great for him and peace of mind for us. Alexis took Duke on a walk and sent plenty of pictures! I was very happy with the service!”
About: Your furbaby will be treated like one of my own! Hi, I'm Laurie and I would love to meet your 4 legged family member! I have raised and cared for animals of all kinds, breeds, sizes, ages, etc from a very young age. My many years of animal care experience includes owning and caring for animals with special needs (blind and deaf), puppy litters, senior pets, pups with behavior challenges (leash aggression, food guarding, separation anxiety, etc), and medication administration (insulin for diabetes, oral, and topical OTC and prescriptions). Whether caring for my own or when caring for pets of family and friends, your pet will be looked after the way you want without missing a beat. References are available ensuring your fur baby is cared for by a responsible and trusted animal lover of all. I PREFER TO WATCH ONE PUP (OR ANIMALS W IN ONE HOUSEHOLD) AT A TIME. THIS ENSURES YOUR FURBABYS SAFETY, AS OTHER SITTERS WILL ACCEPT MULTIPLE BOOKINGS AT A TIME AND MAY NOT ALWAYS KNOW EVERY PUPS TEMPERMENT AND/OR TOLERANCE TO NEW ANIMALS OUTSIDE THE HOME. YOUR PET WILL HAVE MY UNDIVIDED ATTENTION. As a consultant, (and student for MBA), I am able to set my own hours and days of the week. This allows for me to schedule you and your furry friend into my daily routine whether its for walks, doggy day care, potty drop in visits, care in your home house sitting, or boarding in my home while you are away. I currently work with a local rescue volunteering and providing emergency foster care when needed. I live in a home with yards front and back (unfenced). You pet will be leashed at all times to ensure their safety is always top priority. My neighborhood is very dog friendly with a dog park only blocks from my home. I am happy to follow whatever instructions are needed to keep your baby happy and healthy whether home or away. I am trained in animal CPR, can provide a crated environment if preferred or *in training, and take pride in knowing your pet (and home if applicable) will be in great hands whether you need a one time pet care provider, long term doggy day care, boarding or any combination in between. AS MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY, IF BOARDING WITHIN MY HOME, I PREFER ONE PUP (OR PUPS WITHIN THE SAME HOME) AT A TIME TO ENSURE NO ISSUES W PET AGGRESSION HAVING MULTIPLE PETS UNFAMILIAR WITH ONE ANOTHER UNDER THE SAME ROOF. YOUR PET WILL HAVE MY UNDIVIDED ATTENTION.

About: We have a ton of experience watching dogs, from puppies to senior dogs. We trained our own puppy so we understand the extra care, attention and exercise that is required for dogs at different stages of life. My husband and I work from home daily and take breaks regularly throughout the day to take our dog on walks, play with him and care for him. We happily do the same with other dogs we watch. These breaks are the best parts of our day. We have a yard but it is not fenced in, so we take our dog and dogs we watch on walks in our cul de sac and around the neighborhood, which is very walkable. We allow dogs on couches and beds. If they want to sleep with us, we welcome it!
“Liz was great with only fur baby! She kept me updated with how Luna was doing throughout the day and sent pictures!! Looking forward to leaving Luna with Liz again, knowing she will be in greats hands!!”

“My pup had a great day with Emily and Christine. They have a nice fenced yard, perfect for dog play. They treated her like one of their own and she came home tired and happy.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for around 10 years. I also have babysat different aged children and am very prompt and responsible. I hope to be able to help you too. I’m currently doing research at UNC and training for my collegiate sports season. I have lots of time in the middle of the day to walk! I take my own dogs on walks every day, clean them, and feed them daily. I love them very much and take good care of them.
About: I have lived around a multitude of dogs and cats my whole life, and I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. I appreciate communication when my dogs are being cared for, so depending on your personal preferences I would love to offer updates on how your pet is doing when under my care! I work full time from home during the week which gives me the flexibility to take breaks and visit your pets multiple times a day. - Housesitting: The price set for housesitting includes an overnight stay and a couple midday drop in visits, I do leave your home during the day. - Requests outside of my normal service area are subject to a price increase.
“Tia seemed to enjoy her stay with Shelby and Robbie! I only met Robbie outside their home when I dropped Tia off and picked her up. He was friendly and happy to take Tia for a while. They have a nice fenced in yard.”

About: I have over 20 years of caring for dogs, cats and birds. I volunteer for an animal rescue and have fostered cats and dogs in the past, administered medicine, and socialized stray kittens to be adoptable. I’ve owned a Samoyed, Great Pyrenees, a pit bull mix and now a miniature Australian Shepherd. I’ve owned a cockatiel and a sun conure in the past so I’m familiar with caring for birds. The last 5 years, I worked for a pet insurance company where you can bring your pet to work but also learned of potential emergencies pets encounter and how to prevent them or take action quickly. I’m currently working from home so I’ll have the time to care for your pet, give them attention, treats and take walks throughout the day I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 30lb puppy who would love a friend for the time you are gone. Bones, lick mats and Kongs are offered throughout the day.
About: A lover of animals of all sorts, I've rescued and cared for cats of my own for over 40 years. My family had dogs including a Beagle and a Lhasa Poo while I was growing up, and I'm the one who always says, "Can I say hi?!" when I see someone out walking their dog. I volunteered at Main Line Animal Rescue, Providence Animal Rescue, and pet store based cat rescues and have received dog handling and walking training. I am equipped and eager to provide your pets with quality time and care. I have groomed cats, walked the big dogs, and cleaned bunny litter. Clients, friends, and co-workers have been happy with my services and I enjoy connecting my work with one of my passions. If you scroll my photos, I admit I haven't cared for alpacas. But I'd love to learn how! I'd be happy to make your getaways, vacations, or travel for work less stressful for you by caring for your pets and home. I'm happy to give updates throughout visits, including photos or videos, and will give daily reports on food and treats, litter or potty time, and general behavior. I'm vaccinated and boosted. Please let me know if you'd like me to be masked when we meet. Happy to oblige! My schedule is flexible. Just let me know your needs and I'll do my best to make it work. Book ahead for the fall and winter holidays! Taking care of your pets in your home is a responsibility and a privilege, allowing your pets to have their safe spaces and comforts while you're away.
