About: I currently own 2 female presa canarios that are 7 years old. I am able to handle stubborn dogs, lazy dogs, athletic dogs and everything in between. Before my presa canarios I cared for 2 golden retrievers. All of these dogs I have cared for since they were 8 weeks old. I am able to care for dogs of all ages, breeds, shapes and sizes. No dog is too much or too little to handle. I am up for a challenge as my presas challenge me everyday. I hope to care and walk your dog for you. I am open to other pets such as cats, I have watched a few cats, but dogs are more of my speciality. Hope to see some dogs soon. If the dog/puppy needs some training I can provide basic skills and obedience as I have trained all of my dogs. (I am not a professional trainer) I'm currently an RN which I work 2/3 days a week. I work nights so I am available during the day and available the nights I don't work. I'm very active with my 2 dogs. I've pet sat for family and friends on a number of occasions. I have a half fenced in yard where my dogs love to play, they are well socialized and get along well with other pets. I am able to provide crate training and potting training.
“Heather is so kind and empathetic. She loves animals and she gave French Fry and Ice Cream lots of personalized attention and care. Heather is also extremely reliable and thorough and even went the extra mile for us, checking mail and changing the blinds so the cats could birdwatch and so our house didn’t come across as vacant. Thank you so much, Heather!”

“This was our first time using rover and Chelsea was absolutely amazing! She kept us up to date and our pup loved her. Highly recommend booking with her and she was accommodating to our last minute need and request!”

“Thor told me how happy he was to have a daily visit from Kai and Devon. He especially enjoyed the special wet food treat and expects that to continue. Thank you Kai and Devon for keeping my fur baby happy.”

“Amberleigh is an amazing sitter, she is very responsive and sends updates daily with some really nice pictures. She goes above and beyond, I'm so happy Cleo is in good care while we are away.”

“We are so very grateful for Olivia’s care of our senior dog. She came to meet him and we had a good feeling about her right away. She has been punctual with her visits, quick to respond to any communication from us, and thorough with her reports of her time with our boy. We look forward to continued visits from Olivia, and our pup does too.”

“Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of our two little chihuahua boys. She made us feel comfortable with the way she listened to our instructions, and her calm demeanor helped them warm up to her very quickly. Her visit reports were enjoyable to read, and she sent multiple photos of the boys that brought smiles to our faces. We definitely plan on hiring Andrea again for our future dog sitting needs.”

About: I understand how important it is to leave your fur babies with someone you can trust. They’re family after all! With that being said, communication with clients is my top priority, aside from taking care of your fur babies. You will never be left out of the loop and I am always sure to send plenty of pictures and videos so you can still see them while you’re away from home! As I focus on going back to school within the next year to pursue my dream career, having a flexible job that I genuinely enjoy doing is super important to me. Pet-sitting and dog-walking has always brought me so much joy, so when I thought of a job I could do while pursuing school, this was the perfect option! Typically, while pet-sitting in a clients home, I will sit with them, play with them, and let them out to go potty when needed. I will always make sure that they have food and water and are taken care of throughout the entire visit. Some clients also leave specific instructions based on their pet, which I always make sure to follow if they do so. Communication will NEVER be an issue; you will receive plenty of updates along with pictures and videos of your adorable fur babies!

Swarthmore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Chelsea and John were very considerate, kind, and took really great care of my pup!! Even helped me out in a bind during the snow storm. My pup was a happy camper and I was relieved to have someone watch her during the unplanned snow storm. I will definitely use their services again.

Kai and Devon were great sitters for our puppy. We were nervous using Rover for the first time, but Kai met us the day before and was super professional, caring, and knowledgeable about what our puppy (and puppies in general) might need. They took great pictures as well of our pup and we’d love to have them back.

Sarah was so thorough and earnest in her clear desire to want to make my old dog have the most comfortable experience with me gone. She put Sage’s anxious self at ease almost immediately and was very attentive to her body language and how to respond. She checked in with me frequently and gave me any extra details I may need to know upon my return. Diligent, caring, and just a great overall experience!
Allyson was awesome I felt really comfortable letting her into my home to take care of my dog - I didn't even need to meet her before hand. She sent me pictures and was available for communication at all times. First time I used professional a walker and she really made my vacation more enjoyable by knowing my baby was in good hands. Highly recommend. :)
