About: My three years of experience have taught me that every dog possesses a unique personality and set of needs. I prioritize your pet's comfort and happiness by treating them as if they were my own. My approach centers on maintaining a safe, stimulating, and consistent routine, whether that involves strict adherence to dietary schedules or managing high-energy play. I hold certifications in Experience with senior pets and Experience with special needs pets. I remain calm during emergencies, prioritizing quick, responsible decision-making while keeping you fully informed. I am punctual, kind, and empathetic, and I truly enjoy helping shy dogs come out of their shells. With my own reliable transportation, I am ready to provide your dog with the dedicated care they deserve. I look forward to treating your beloved companion with the same love and attention I give my own. I have a flexible schedule and am available for dog walks throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m happy to work with your schedule to provide reliable, consistent walks and plenty of exercise, attention, and care. Animals have always been a part of my family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own. My childhood dog lived to be 15 years old, and I was there to help care for him throughout his life, especially in his senior years when he needed extra support. He was truly my best friend and taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive care. Today, I care for my own dog and cat every day by feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they are happy and healthy. I walk my dog before and after work and throughout the day as needed, and I enjoy spending quality time playing with both my dog and cat. I have a genuine love for animals, but dog walking is something I especially enjoy. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and I will treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets.

“Nicole is the best!!! We were a little nervous to try Rover for the first time with our two cats, one of which requires daily medication. She was so responsive and loving for our kitties!!! She made the entire experience stress free. We can’t wait to work with her again!”

About: Hi there! 🐾 My partner and I both grew up around dogs, have had our own dogs, and are foster dog parents. We'd love the opportunity to cuddle and take the very best care of your pup. Think of us as your dog's godparents! We know how hard it can be to leave your fur babies. We would love to ease that worry for you and send photos/videos and keep you updated throughout the stay! We both work from home so we will stay with your pet. With our flexible schedule, we'll be able to keep to your dog's normal routine and schedule with walks, potty, meal time, and play time! We have crates, beds, and plenty of treats and toys. We also have a huge fenced-in yard where we can play fetch and run around. I believe dogs need to be stimulated mentally and physically. In addition to getting good exercise through daily walks, I also have lots of toys and balls, sniff mats, lick mats, and food puzzles. I also enjoy training dogs so your dog may come home having learned a new trick!
“Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of our two little chihuahua boys. She made us feel comfortable with the way she listened to our instructions, and her calm demeanor helped them warm up to her very quickly. Her visit reports were enjoyable to read, and she sent multiple photos of the boys that brought smiles to our faces. We definitely plan on hiring Andrea again for our future dog sitting needs.”

“Tori was awesome! She took great care of my cats during the drop-in visits and kept me updated with photos and notes. Everything was clean and my cats were happy as could be when I got home. Highly recommend!”

“Becky had excellent communication throughout the entire process and my cat immediately responded well to her presence. Both resulted in putting my mind at ease with using Rover for the first time.”

“Chelsea was wonderful! She helped me in a pinch and gave my pup so much love and care. She's an expert and was communicative, on time, and consistent. She employed her knowledge about animal health to treat my dogs anxiety and queasy belly while I was away. She was super sweet to talk to as well! I am grateful and will be using her again!”

About: Hi, I'm George (nickname Trey), I have fostered dozens of dogs, mostly puppies, and have two rescue pups who live with me. My lab mix is everyone's best friend, while my shepherd mix is often reactive, so I manage the greetings with her separately. After she settles down she loves to play with her new friends. I have a big yard and some woods with trails that the dogs love to walk and sniff. If you need a dog sitter in the Wallingford area please reach out, I would be happy to host your dog and give them a safe, fun place to stay! On work days I still have the option to be at home sometimes, the flexibility is nice when I need to care for dogs. I walk my dogs all the time and we enjoy meeting new walking buddies. Our lengthy walks and playtime are essential to our daily life. My home is a cozy little house with a 4 acre yard, I spend lots of time outside so if your pup likes to be outside they will love it here. Let me know what your pup needs, I am very flexible.
“Liz is absolutely wonderful. We intend to use her any time for our dog sitting needs. She came on time, stayed at least the requested amount of time. She is a true animal lover and our dogs loved her back, she made easy friends with them. She provided us great peace of mind. I highly recommend her.”

About: I have always been surrounded by different household animals. Dogs, cats, crabs, fish. I am eager to get into a conversation and discuss some options. Chat soon :) I am flexible. Looking to build my work schedule around walking and sitting. I would like to walk dogs early in the morning 5/6 am but flexible to walk at night as well When walking dogs, I am aware of soundings to keep them safe. I will keep them to the route planned and expected to ensure habits follow as normal.

About: I've always felt that animals deserve the best care they can get. I have experience with Senior pets along with Great social skills when talking to people. I'm also a firm believer that Animals will tell you their boundaries and that those should be respected. I also have experience with Rodents such as guinea pigs and Rabbits along with Reptiles. I have a very open schedule when it comes down to taking care of pets. I'm willing to spend as much or as little time with pets that you would like. I have 2 Dogs who are friendly with other dogs. I also have two cats that tend to mind their own and avoid the dogs. They all get along with each other. I don't have a fenced in yard so walks would be our go to exercise. About: I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes and personalities and love them all! All of my dogs have been raised from puppies through their senior years. I recently said goodbye to my Boxador, who fell ill and required special care for many months. Whether shy, spirited, or somewhere in between, I tailor my care to each dog’s personality and needs. I have cared for pups with health challenges and am confident in my ability to provide gentle, reliable support, including medication administration and comfort-focused care. My schedule is currently flexible, allowing for morning, daytime, and evening care. I am available as needed for walks, play time, boarding, and any other adventure that brings your pup joy. In my home, dogs are more than guests. So long as it is okay with their guardian, pets here are welcome to lounge on furniture and sleep wherever they feel most comfortable. My back yard is full fenced in (privacy fencing on both sides and secure, post fencing in the back facing a wooded area). I live in a very safe, walkable neighborhood for those that enjoy a stroll. It is very important to me to respect my client's care instructions, regardless of my own experiences or preferences. I will make every effort to maintain consistency and ensure your pup feels at home at all times.

We are so lucky to have found Rachel! She took amazing care of our dog, Marnie. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and I could tell she was taking care of our dog like she was her own. She was reliable and I could enjoy my trip without worrying about my dog or my house. Will DEFINITELY be using Rachel to watch Marnie in the future.

Jacqueline 🐕🦺🐾 was great. While I was away, she took time out of her schedule to check on both my cat and dog. They both enjoyed our company very much. She was kind, timely, and responsive to all of my messages. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.

Karen was wonderful with my 2 dogs! She is reliable, caring and kept me updated with photos and messages. My dogs were so well cared for and I could see how happy and content they were in the photos! Knowing they were in such good hands gave me complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend Karen to anyone!

Chelsea and John were very considerate, kind, and took really great care of my pup!! Even helped me out in a bind during the snow storm. My pup was a happy camper and I was relieved to have someone watch her during the unplanned snow storm. I will definitely use their services again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
