About: Hi! I'm Caroline, a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both dogs and cats and can't imagine life without them. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and ages, from raising neonatal kittens and administering medications to caring for senior pets with extra needs. I'm active and love going on walks, so I'd be happy to keep your dog exercised and entertained. I'm also just as happy spending quality time with your cat, whether that's playing, giving treats, or enjoying plenty of snuggles. I know that pets are family because mine certainly are! I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing them with the love, attention, and care they deserve while you're away. I have a flexible schedule and am available from early mornings to late evenings to help ensure your furry family member stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! I'm currently in college but have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs throughout the day whether that be the early morning, afternoons, or evenings! I’m happy to care for your pets in their own home, where they can feel comfortable, safe, loved, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Anne is fantastic! She's friendly, professional, easy to work with, and best of all she loves pets. Anne handled visits with our three cats perfectly. Two of our cats have a few nuances, but Anne worked with them graciously and with love. We'll definitely hire Anne again!”

“Brenna was fantastic! She loved my cats and my cats loved her! She followed my directions, sent pictures and details about her visits, and even cleaned my cats bowls. I would definitely recommend her!”

“We are so lucky that Kaylee was able to watch our dog and cat while we were gone. She took such great care of them and really eased my anxiety about going away. She took such great care of our home too. I will be booking Kaylee again for sure, and highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“Jacqueline took wonderful care of our cat while we were away. She was reliable, attentive, and made sure he was well-fed and comfortable. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave him, which gave us peace of mind during our trip. We would be happy to have Jacqueline care for our cat again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable pet sitter.”

“Rachel is awesome! My cat Millie loves her. Rachel provided plenty of snuggles and playtime so that she didn’t get lonely while we were gone. She arrived reliably on time each day and even watered my plants. She sent me plenty of photos of my cat and it gave me peace of mind. Thanks Rachel!!”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah. As a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I treat every dog like they're family and make sure they get plenty of love while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I'm happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any special instructions. Whether your pup loves long walks, backyard playtime, or just cuddling on the couch, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout their stay. I currently have a young pup of my own, so I understand puppy energy, training consistency, and the importance of creating a safe, positive environment. I am currently working remote at home. I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. I have a big fenced in yard and a friendly dog for good company. We live in a quiet family friendly neighborhood surrounded by sidewalks.
“Paz was very responsible and timely. She showed kindness to the cats, cleaned up after them, made sure they had food and water. One of my cats needs a medicated eye-drop regularly and Paz was confident in her ability to administer the eye-drop. I would hire her again.”

“Barbara and Austin were fantastic with our cats, Baylor and Bentley. I take my cats' care very seriously, and this was the first time I had ever hired a petsitter outside of family. They came by a few weeks ahead of time to meet us, and more specifically, our cat Baylor, who is diabetic and on a strict care routine. By the end of our meeting, I was confident that my boys would be in good hands. And they were! During their visit, Baylor safely received his glucose check, feeding, and medicine. What impressed me even more was that they managed to win over Bentley, who is extremely shy and almost never comes out for strangers. The fact that he felt comfortable enough to come out for them speaks volumes. I was genuinely surprised. Bentley is usually afraid of his own shadow. Barbara was very responsive to all of my messages, and also sent an update with photos after their visit. She and Austin are reliable, patient, and kind. Most importantly, Baylor and Bentley were comfortable, too! They will certainly be our first choice the next time we need a reliable caregiver for our boys.”

“Catherine is so amazing!!!!! She does so much more than I ask every time and is so very thoughtful and kind. Very professional and caring to my kitty, sincerely appreciate you Catherine!!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼”

“Autumn came and walked Ghost, even though I had the wrong address entered in Rover. She took him on a 30 minute walk and now he is asleep! Above and beyond are the words to describe Autumn. Especially the expert puppy advice she gave me.”

“Jacqueline 🐕🦺🐾 was great. While I was away, she took time out of her schedule to check on both my cat and dog. They both enjoyed our company very much. She was kind, timely, and responsive to all of my messages. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.”

“Caroline went above and beyond for us when our vacation turned tragic with the sudden illness and passing of my grandmother-in-law that required multiple changes of plans to accommodate the changing situation. She was extremely flexible when our vet informed us that she recommends daily visits rather than every two days after a behavioural checkup right before our trip. Then, there was Grandma’s situation, where Caroline quickly accommodated adding one more day, and then, as the situation progressed, went to great lengths to ensure we were covered no matter what for an additional 3 days. Not only that, but she gave Lucy plenty of love and ensured she was well taken-care-of. To top it all off, she also took the cutest photos and brought in our packages. House was super clean when we got back. We’ll definitely be using her again”

“Meghan is amazing and all over her time stamps are so detailed, they make me laugh as she describes our pups personalities so well! Thank you as always Meghan, we appreciate you more than you know!”

“Amy was wonderful. She was affectionate and you could tell that she loved animals. She sent pictures of my puppy when she got there and while she was playing . I would recommend Amy and I will use her again.”

“Sarah was amazing at taking care of Milo, he can come off very intimidating to people, but she held her ground and he took to her easily and enjoyed her company. She updated me on how he was doing and put my mind as ease. I will be using Sarah in the future thank you again.”

“Callie is just the sweetest pet sitter! Not only did she provide tons of cuddles and play, she even left a treat jar for Bailey and a thank you card after she was gone. What a sweet sentiment! Bailey appreciated the treats so much! And the thank you card was so sweet! Thank you Callie for that extra special touch! We will be sure to use her services in the future!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Folsom
Jacqueline was a very responsible Rover drop in sitter. She came twice a day to feed, scoop litter boxes and play with my 18 month old orange tabby. She was always here at the specified time and always reported back to me right away. Unfortunately, my cat is very shy and really doesn't want anything to do with anyone but me, so Jacqueline was not able to play and socialize with him the way I had hoped. That wasn't her fault! She did everything she could and I would use her again and recommend her as well!

So grateful to have Kaylee watch our cat once again. We got very detailed updates about her every visit, and she was very content by the time we got home, which was a huge relief. Kaylee takes incredible care of our pets and our home. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Lyra & giving us peace of mind! ❤️

Amy was great! She was very thorough and made sure my little guys were taken care of. I was a little nervous leaving my cats as one of them needs daily medication, but she made me feel comfortable leaving them in her hands. She went above and beyond. 100% would use her again.

Jacqueline 🐕🦺🐾 was great. While I was away, she took time out of her schedule to check on both my cat and dog. They both enjoyed our company very much. She was kind, timely, and responsive to all of my messages. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.

Marci is an amazing sitter. She came by twice a day to feed and play with my cat while I was away. My cat is a rescue that is a little shy towards new people (and sometimes a little grumpy) and Marci went above and beyond to take care of her. She clearly has a lot of experience with animals, is extremely trustworthy, and I would 100% work with Marci again 😸

Amberleigh did a great job with Luna and was very nice to work with. Very communicative and took great pictures. Gave us important updates about how she was doing and how her visits went. Really cared about Luna and took the time to play and spend time with her. Flexible and willing to work with us for Luna’s needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Folsom. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
