“We booked twice a day drop in visits with Barb for our two male tabbies while away on a ten day vacation and we couldn’t be more pleased with her care. This is the longest we’ve ever left our boys and from the very first day we felt completely at ease. Barb went so far above and beyond to care for them—giving one of them oral meds at the last minute, preparing treat toys for them at her visits, perfectly following their feeding arrangement and sending tons of sweet photos. She offered to take our trash and recycling out without us asking, collected our mail, watered our plants and made sure that an important package was picked up quickly from our porch. It was such a huge relief to travel without worry knowing our boys were in incredible hands and we’ve already booked with Barb for two more of our summer getaways. Highly recommend choosing her to look after your fur babies!”

“Breanna is in a word, great. Gave me detailed updates each day taking care of my cat. Pictures showing me how much food he was eating. I felt so comfortable knowing he was getting such good attention. I would absolutely book Breanna again”

“Meghan is amazing and all over her time stamps are so detailed, they make me laugh as she describes our pups personalities so well! Thank you as always Meghan, we appreciate you more than you know!”

“Paz did a great job. She pays very close attention to detail, even going so far as to take lots of notes during our meet and greet. My dog is reactive so needs special care around other dogs. Paz followed my directions and safely navigated around the problems. She was also willing to take care of my dog despite having a sudden bout of diarrhea that started the day before her visit. Lots of pictures and excellent communication.”

“I had to find a pet sitter on short notice for a Saturday I was going to be away. Anne responded right away and came and met my senior dog ahead of time. On the appointment day she was on time, sent me a super cute pic, and my dog was very happy and content when I got home! Made my day so much less stressful! Will definitely use again!”
“Autumn did a fantastic with our dogs. She made sure that they spend time outside, ate and gave one of our pups his medications. She even took our pups for a walk to help give them some exercise. Overall this was a great first experience.”

“Carol is a wonderful pet sitter! We have used her several times now, and she always gives our dog the best care and loving attention with plenty of photos and updates to put our minds at ease. I could not ask for a better sitter!”

“Super communicative and very sweet to talk with!! Updated daily with pictures and made effort to engage with both of my cats! My cats seemed comfortable with her and I will definitely utilize her again.”

About: Hi! I’m Sarah. As a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom, I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet. I treat every dog like they're family and make sure they get plenty of love while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I'm happy to accommodate feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any special instructions. Whether your pup loves long walks, backyard playtime, or just cuddling on the couch, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and safe. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout their stay. I currently have a friendly young pup of my own, so I understand puppy energy, training consistency, and the importance of creating a safe, positive environment. I am currently working remote at home. I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding throughout the week, including evenings and weekends. I have a big fenced in yard and a friendly dog for good company. We live in a quiet family friendly neighborhood surrounded by sidewalks.
“Andrea did a fantastic job taking care of our two little chihuahua boys. She made us feel comfortable with the way she listened to our instructions, and her calm demeanor helped them warm up to her very quickly. Her visit reports were enjoyable to read, and she sent multiple photos of the boys that brought smiles to our faces. We definitely plan on hiring Andrea again for our future dog sitting needs.”

“Julianna was wonderful! She was communicative, quick to respond, and right on time for Georgia’s drop-in visits. She took great care of our pup and sent us the sweetest pictures and updates while we were away. We felt completely at ease knowing Georgia was in good hands and can’t wait to book with her again!”

“Kristin provided great care for our cat while we were on vacation. She sent detailed updates and daily photos. Besides feeding and cleaning his litter, Kristin showed him great affection which was very comforting. I would not hesitate to have her care for our cat again in the future.”

“I am so happy to have found Rachel to take care of my elderly kitty. My cat has special needs & everything went perfectly. She was thorough & took daily sweet pics of my baby girl😻 I'll definitely use her services again. Thanks Rachel😊”

“One of the best sitters on Rover! Always so kind and caring towards my pups! They’re absolutely obsessed with her. Always responsive and highly adaptive to whatever new needs arise with the pups. Absolute godsend!”

“Chelsea and John were such great sitters for our 12 year old dog, Moo Cow. They sent lots of photo updates and we felt secure that they were watching over him while we were happy. So happy to have found reliable sitters for our best guy.”

“Amy was wonderful. She was affectionate and you could tell that she loved animals. She sent pictures of my puppy when she got there and while she was playing . I would recommend Amy and I will use her again.”

About: I have always been surrounded by different household animals. Dogs, cats, crabs, fish. I do not currently have the resources to have my own furry friend but have carved time to begin walking and sitting to still have an outlet for pet connection. I am eager to get into a conversation and discuss some options. Chat soon :) I am flexible. Looking to build my work schedule around walking and sitting. I would like to walk dogs early in the morning 5/6 am but flexible to walk at night as well When walking dogs, I am aware of soundings to keep them safe. I will keep them to the route planned and expected to ensure habits follow as normal.

So grateful to have Kaylee watch our cat once again. We got very detailed updates about her every visit, and she was very content by the time we got home, which was a huge relief. Kaylee takes incredible care of our pets and our home. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Lyra & giving us peace of mind! ❤️

I left my cat, Leo, with Autumn for 7 days, and when I returned, I was pleasantly surprised. Leo looked beautiful and well cared for, as if he had just come from a grooming appointment. Autumn did a wonderful job taking care of him. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

Amy was great! She was very thorough and made sure my little guys were taken care of. I was a little nervous leaving my cats as one of them needs daily medication, but she made me feel comfortable leaving them in her hands. She went above and beyond. 100% would use her again.

Jacqueline 🐕🦺🐾 was great. While I was away, she took time out of her schedule to check on both my cat and dog. They both enjoyed our company very much. She was kind, timely, and responsive to all of my messages. I look forward to working with her again in the near future.

Marci is an amazing sitter. She came by twice a day to feed and play with my cat while I was away. My cat is a rescue that is a little shy towards new people (and sometimes a little grumpy) and Marci went above and beyond to take care of her. She clearly has a lot of experience with animals, is extremely trustworthy, and I would 100% work with Marci again 😸

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
