Our Molly, who is in her 14th year, had just started to display some cognitive dysfunction as well as what we perceived as sadness in the loss of her best buddy, her brother from the same litter. Tony was very attentive and observant of Molly's behavior as she tried to adjust to her new surroundings. At times she did need some extra care due to her confusion or anxiety of her situation which Tony lovingly provided, all the while making sure that we were receiving videos and feedback as to her experience.”

“We adopted a sweet 3-month old puppy from a shelter only a few weeks shy of our week-long vacation. Clearly not the best timing, and I'd worried who would watch the newest (teething/chewing, still house-training, very active, yet also very loved) member of our family. We'd selected Michell after noting the 5-star rating and significant number of repeat customers, and it was the right choice! Not only did they efficiently and professionally handle drop-off and pick-ups, they were wonderful about communicating with us and seemed to take great care of our puppy (no easy feat, as anyone who has owned a puppy can attest!). They sent multiple pictures daily with updates, which eased our minds while we were on the trip. Because they board a small number of dogs, our pup had a chance to socialize with other dogs, but still remain in a home environment with a large, fenced in yard. They were also incredibly understanding about what puppy care entails (even the messy parts!) and kindly shared their own experience having rescued and raised/trained multiple puppies themselves. Additionally, in one week, our puppy came back to us better behaved even, and we're fairly certain we have Mitchell and his husband to thank! We will definitely be reaching out to them again, and we're confident our pup will be glad to see her friends again during our/her next vacation!”

I’ve been part of the Rover community since 2018 and have cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities over the years. Animals are truly my passion, which is why I now work with them full-time through pet care and grooming. I’m currently a part-time groomer at Petco, which has given me even more hands-on experience with animal behavior, handling, and making pets feel safe and comfortable in new environments. He was an excellent communicator, gave me regular updates, followed all the necessary instructions (ie: diet, water, and also the antibiotic medications she needed to take). He was also really accommodating to my schedule for the pickup & drop off, which was really helpful during this current weather! They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease.
