Services
Tammy can care for
Availability
I do pet care full time, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I do require a meeting with all first time clients prior to confirming booking. This is just for the first sit, returning clients do not need additional face to face meetings.

Maintaining your pet's schedule and preferences are important to me. If your pet likes to play, let's play! If they prefer quiet time in the same room, we can do that too.
Information Tammy K. would like to know about your pet
Please message me to discuss rates if you do not have a dog. Cats and exotic pets are often easier to care for than dogs. I can adjust my numbers to account for your specific needs.
A typical day
What does your companion enjoy? My goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. Are they a couch potato? Let's watch some TV and play in the living room. Do they prefer to brisk, long walks? Perhaps your ferret likes to take baths in the sink. Or your parrot likes to play fetch with a tiny basketball. Whatever your pet likes to do.

Pet care experience
I have always had a menagerie of pets growing up. Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chickens, peacocks...I lived in the house people would bring injured or unwanted animals to. Strange, exotic, or weird pets do not phase me. I have a ton of experience with special needs friends. I currently share space with a 3 legged cat, and a cat who had brain damage as a kitten and needs an attentive pet parent. I am available for walks and pet sitting in your home. I can walk around your neighborhood, or drive the dog to the closest park if there are no walking paths or sidewalks near your property. I can also transport the dog to a dog park if they require socialization. For cats or other indoor pets, I will provide indoor exercise and stimulation they prefer. Tell me what your cat needs and let's design a routine and schedule that works for all of us. I am extremely flexible. I have to sit in the bathroom and talk to my cat while he eats. He is on prescription diet and my other cat eats until the bowl is empty, and the cat who needs the prescription doesn't eat without an audience. Have a cat that will only drink out of a gravity fed water bottle for rabbits? I will fill the rabbit bottle. Need someone to take your sugar glider to their outdoor play area a few times a week? I'm your girl! I am calm and patient. I am very good around older and anxious animals.
