Love and care while you're away
Hello! Dogs and cats have been part of my life since I was a child. My Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever, Marley, was the love of my life! As others have said, animals make a house a home. I hope you and your dog will consider mine a home-away-from-home. My home consists of a family of three (myself, my high school-aged son, and our kitty). I work from home so your dog will enjoy a lot of love and attention throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard and there are also parks, nearby, if walks are requested. I would consider taking more than one dog if the dogs are comfortable with one another and my cat, Moby. Moby is 6 years old and he has a catio and a finished basement to retreat to so each fur babe can have time apart. Please reach out if you have questions.

Lori is great with animals and communicates very clearly with their humans so all expectations are spelled out and met. She's trustworthy, kind, and reliable. She has watched our pets many times.

Schedule
I work from home so I can provide company and comfort to your pup throughout the day. I have occasional, local errands. My best times are early mornings and evenings for walks or extended play.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard for fun exploration and sniffing. If your fur babe prefers their crate or bed when they're away from home, please bring it along. They can also snooze on the couch or in bed with me. I have a one-story home and your dog will have access to every room on the main floor. The finished basement will remain a cat-only space. When we meet, I'll ask you to share favorite activities that help your dog feel happy and comfortable.

Every dog has their favorite ways to play and snuggle. It's important to me to connect with your dog to support their healthy body and active mind. I'll ask you what activities your dog loves so they can keep doing them while you're away.
