“Thank you for taking such great care of our dog while we were on vacation! Rachel and her husband are wonderful sitters! Without fail, we received pictures and/or videos daily, letting us know that Winston was doing well and having a good time. We look forward to continuing the relationship with Rachel and her husband in the future.”

“Dana took great care of our dog, Max, during his first overnight stay. She sent photos and kept us updated on how Max was doing. We have already booked Max for a week stay at Dana’s while we are on vacation.”

About: As a dog and cat mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that transition feel as seamless and stress-free as possible, for both you and your pets. I follow routines closely so they don’t miss a beat while you’re away. I provide thoughtful, detail-oriented care, from ensuring high-energy dogs receive the exercise and engagement they need to maintaining clean, well-kept spaces for cats, including daily litter care and proper feeding hygiene. I focus on the small details that truly make a difference, treating your home and your pets with the same level of care I would my own. My time is truly their time, whether that means long walks, playtime, or simply being present for a cozy cuddle. I step in seamlessly so your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, and so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, including caring for my 15-year-old Maine Coon and raising and training my young Golden Retriever since she was just 10 weeks old. I understand the patience, consistency, and attention required for pets of all ages, energy levels, and temperaments. In addition to over 10 years of pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, I’ve worked in animal care at the children’s zoo at the Philadelphia Zoo, giving me hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and unique personalities. Like people, every pet is different. I take the time to build trust and create a safe, positive, and personalized experience, whether caring for them in your home or mine. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident, connected, and worry-free while you’re away. • Routine-based care tailored to your pet • Daily updates with photos/videos • Clean, respectful home care • Experience with high-energy and senior pets • Attentive, present, and reliable care I work full-time during the week (9–5) and work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. I offer boarding and house sitting Friday–Monday, allowing for consistent, attentive long weekend care. I prioritize routine, enrichment, and calm structure so pets feel secure while you’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind. In my home, pets are cared for in a calm, structured environment. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and a friendly one-year-old Golden Retriever and senior Maine Coon who are both well-socialized. I always prioritize safe introductions and ensure every pet feels comfortable. I can accommodate crates if your dog is crate-trained, and I’m happy to maintain your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible to reduce stress. I respect your space, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Christin was amazing! I was a little worried because my puppy (Kiwi) is still very timid and suspicious of strangers, but Christin was very understanding and confident, that it was clear she's worked with difficult dogs before. She kept us informed of all the progress and we know Kiwi ended up relaxing and having a great time. Totally recommended and would totally rebook. Thank you!”

“Clarissa was great. Very quickly responded to boarding request and arranged meet and greet day and time. Dogs did well during the stay and had good time running around and playing in a large fenced in yard. It was nice to receive video update too.”

“Drew is amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in daycare/boarding. He goes above and beyond for the dogs and gives owners peace of mind by sending lots of updates and pics. It’s clear that he understands dog dynamics and makes sure every pup is safe and having a great time. Excited to book with him again in the future (I know my puppy is too!)”

“Rhea continues to provide Nova with the best care possible. I always feel comfortable leaving my pup with her. She is incredibly attentive and provides detailed updates throughout Nova’s stay. Couldn’t recommend more!!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! Craig was absolutely amazing—attentive, kind, and clearly a true animal lover. From the start, communication was excellent. He asked all the right questions about our dog’s routine, preferences, and quirks, which immediately put us at ease. While we were away, he sent photos of how happy our dog was. It was clear our pup was getting lots of attention, exercise, and love. Craig is a true professional. We highly recommend Craig to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate pet care. We’ll definitely be booking again!”

“We previously had a bad experience with a rover and swore off using the app ever again. Two years later, and Ryan has restored our faith. He was very communicative and sent photos regularly. And it was a true joy to see his family shower our dog with love. We could enjoy our time away knowing she was in very capable hands.”

“We left our yorkie, Richie with Julia for over a week and Julia took great care of Richie, took him on regular long walks, shared pictures and videos of Richie and ensured that he ate well and kept him comfortable in her home. Thanks to Julia we were worry free about Richie on our vacation”

“Allison and the girls took such great care of Cookie! As first time Rover users, Allison was patient with my husband and provided regular check-ins, updates and pictures! It was clear Cookie had a nice time and was much less stressed than when we typically board her. We look forward to booking again with Allison and Kevin in the future!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Kat and Matt! They took great care of our two dogs over the weekend and made sure we always felt connected by sending regular photo updates. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were happy, safe, and well loved. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book with them again!”

“Wenji and family are great. I got some pictures and Jo got lots of walks. When Jo came home, she was very calm and balanced and happy. Very happy about this experience. Will have Jo stay again with Wenji.”

“Nicole & family took such great care of our two babies for their two night stay. She sent regular pictures and updates. The dogs loved getting some extra snacks and cuddles and enjoyed the backyard! Thank you so much!!”

“Maya’s place is home away home for Mickey.. Mickey is always well taken care of and tired playing when I pick him up … She has a big beautiful fenced-in backyard which is a park for Mickey and her dogs. I will never think twice if I must board Mickey, and if Maya is available…”
“Michell was great. They took great care of our new pup. She was well taken care of. The daily updates with photos were more than helpful to keep us posted. The original meet and greet was helpful and put us at ease. I never used a pet service like Rover. We are planning on using them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing pet services”

“Amy was amazing with my dog, Roxy!! I highly recommend using her. Roxy is an older mini goldendoodle and Amy was so accommodating and sweet with her. I got daily updates with photos. I felt so comfortable and Amy made the process super smooth. I booked her last minute and so glad I did. I highly recommend and would use her again!”

“Alexa was fantastic and a great “first-time sleepover” host for my 5-month old pup. It was obvious that Roxie had a ton of fun playing with the other dogs at Alexa’s, as she was napping most of the following day. We’ll definitely be seeing her again and I’d recommend you check her out as well!”

Mike and Maya took such great loving care of Meek. I received videos and pictures of a very happy dog a few times a day. They have a big, well secured back yard that Meek could run and play with the other dogs. It was a very happy environment for Meek. I will definitely use them again!

Aimee was absolutely amazing and is, without a doubt, the best dog sitter we’ve met so far! She took care of our dog for ten days, and from the very beginning, we knew our pup was in great hands. 😁 She has such a warm, caring personality, and it was clear how much love and attention she gave our dog. Throughout the entire stay, she sent frequent updates with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was wonderful to see how happy, relaxed, and well cared for our dog was every day. 😌 We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Aimee went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and genuinely dedicated to caring for their pets. We’ll absolutely be booking with her again! ☺️

Thalita did an AMAZING job with Louie! She watched him over our wedding weekend and it was so nice knowing he was in such good hands. She even was willing to drive Louie to the venue to take a few photos with us as we got ready. She went above and beyond and clearly just loves dogs and animals. We would definitely recommend Thalita and are so happy we found her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
