About: I’ve had dogs for over 15 years and have always been very hands on with their care. I raised my Yorkie and Dachshund from puppies and cared for them throughout their entire lives. I’ve also watched other dogs, including Corgis, Maltese, and Beagles, and I’m most comfortable with small to medium sized dogs. My two dogs recently passed away after long, happy lives, and I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own yet. I have always been an animal lover and genuinely love being around animals. I honestly can’t imagine my life without having an animal around, so caring for other people’s pets feels like a wonderful way for me to still have that companionship while giving their families peace of mind. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs because I cared for my own senior dog through lymphoma, heart disease, kidney disease, and seizures. I’m used to the extra attention, patience, and observation they may need, and I’m comfortable giving medications, injections, or medication with food when needed. Most of all, I truly enjoy caring for animals and getting to know their individual personalities and routines. I know how much pets mean to their families, so when I watch someone’s pet, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and at home, not like they are simply being boarded somewhere. I work from home three days a week, so I’m around the house most of the time. On the days I do go into work, my office is only about a 15 minute drive away and my schedule is flexible, so I can come home when needed. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and will do my best to keep the same feeding, potty, walking, and medication schedule they’re used to at home. I want your pet’s stay to feel as normal and comfortable as possible. Safety is always my top priority. I have a fenced backyard, so dogs can have safe outdoor time without being loose or unattended. Having recently cared for a senior dog with several health issues, I’m very used to paying attention to small changes in a dog’s behavior, appetite, energy, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems different. If I notice something unusual, I’ll let you know rather than assuming it’s nothing. My own dogs recently passed away, so when your dog stays with me, they are the only pet in the house. I’m also very careful about keeping things out of reach. My Dachshund was always somehow able to find things he was not supposed to eat, so I became very used to keeping food, small objects, and anything potentially unsafe put away.

About: I’ve grown up taking care of two Labradors and French Bulldog! I have experience with providing walks, meals, and medications to puppies and senior dogs Currently a half-day Villanova senior, so I am around most afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. After 2pm is ideal, with the exception of Wednesday nights I have a quiet, pet-safe apartment (no access to candles, flowers, sharp objects). I would be happy to set up a crate, food and water bowls, or pet beds.
“Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. Thanks so much to Chonlada and her family and I would definitely recommend her for boarding and will use again when needed.”

About: I'm particularly experienced in taking care of cats and rabbits. I have 2 spunky lionhead/angora lop eared bunnies that bring me so much joy and happiness. I also have 2 cats (a siamese and an orange tabby) that I adore and currently curled up next to me as I write this. Both cats and rabbits need specific care and attention that I can offer. I'm currently working full-time at a special education school, but I'm available early morning (6:00 to 7:30 AM) and later afternoon/evening (4:30 to 8:00 PM) for visits I would ask for specifics on each pet and a detailed instructions for how to best take care of each pet. Rabbits require specific diets and feeding schedules involving hay, pellets, lettuce and greens. Rabbits also require more care in terms of cleaning waste. About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

“David is clearly such a kind soul who knows and cares a lot about the dogs he works with. My 2 dogs had the pleasure of staying at his home while we went on vacation. He made me feel more than comfortable in his ability to care for my dogs and even asked me a few questions to double check he knew all he needed to know. He was easy to get in touch with, sent me pictures and kept me updated! He was also extremely accommodating with pick up/drop off timing. My dogs came home happy. First, he took a call with me prior to our last minute booking to hear everything I needed to outline about our girl, and he was very accommodating and reassuring. Then, he was very gentle and welcoming upon drop off and it was clear our girl was very comfortable with him right away. He has an excellent energy and was ready with cozy spots, toys and treats for our dog, in addition to what I was bringing over. He asked great clarifying questions and came off as very experienced and knowledgable about dog care. He was a great communicator during our girl's stay, providing daily updates and many pictures which we always greatly appreciate. Then he was really flexible about our pickup window at the end of our stay. Our girl looked so happy, healthy, and rested! About: I’ve grown up taking care of two Labradors and French Bulldog! I have experience with providing walks, meals, and medications to puppies and senior dogs Currently a half-day Villanova senior, so I am around most afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. After 2pm is ideal, with the exception of Wednesday nights I have a quiet, pet-safe apartment (no access to candles, flowers, sharp objects). I would be happy to set up a crate, food and water bowls, or pet beds.
