About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and hands on experience with both dogs and cats. As a pet parent to one dog and three cats, some with health issues, I’ve learned how to give medication, manage special diets, and provide calm, attentive care. About: I have lots of experience caring for all kinds of pets! I’ve worked with trainers for reactive dogs (I have one of my own), and I also care for a senior cat with complex needs. I love all animals. Because I create my own schedule for nursing, I often have days and nights free for pet care! I have a car and can fit all sorts of animal care needs into my schedule. “Roxanne took wonderful care of our 14-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - both for recent drop-ins and also while we were away for a week this past summer. At his age, with some health issues and being nearly deaf, he is a bit fragile, but Roxanne handles everything like a pro. She is on top of his medication routine and seems very perceptive and flexible to what he needed at different times (snuggles, sleeping, playing, etc). She sends updates and photos, which gives us so much peace of mind. Everytime she takes care of him, we come home to a happy pup who clearly feels safe and comfortable with her. About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). Jasmine saved us…we normally would kennel our dogs but one was not feeeling well and the kennel would not take them.
