“I seriously could not recommend someone more than laura. She has been so amazing and attentive with scout. Scout doesn't do well alone but we are trying to work on that and she has done such a great job. She takes the best care of him and has become a best buddy to scout. I am booking her for the rest of my semester to help out with my baby and recommend her to EVERYONE!!”

“Amberleigh went above and beyond with our two kitties! She was so incredibly communicative, always sending helpful updates each day. I can’t even describe the peace of mind it brought me to have her looking over our boys, I think our cats might even be a little upset to see us back instead of her haha!! I would recommend Amberleigh to anyone and everyone who needs a reliable sitter!”

“Skylar did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats while I was away for 2 weeks on business. My cats warmed up to her quickly. The care was complicated by some medical issues with my cats, and the fact that I had just recently moved to a new place, but she handled everything fantastically and kept the cats happy and healthy”

“Could not have been happier with my service! Thalita and her daughter were so amazing with Meelo. I really appreciated their flexibility and overall joy to come and see him. Thank you so much! For sure will be using her services again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young teen (around 15 years experience) and have cared for a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, and small pets like rats, bunnies, hamsters, etc. I have also volunteered at rescues providing animal care, enrichment, and socialization. I have experience with senior pets, sick and medically complex animals, and hospice care for cats and dogs. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special needs, including disabled dogs and cats, and I approach every animal with patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I have two happy cats of my own! My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care so animal friends feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I work about 20–30 hours a week as a counselor, but I have a flexible schedule where I set my own hours. This allows me to build pet care into my daily and weekly routine with ease. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of pets and their owners. I prioritize consistency and reliability so pets get care when they need it most. In a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I prioritize care, play, and one-on-one attention, and I take time to understand each pet’s unique needs, routines, and favorite activities. I aim to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal schedule and incorporating the things they enjoy most.
“Mackenzie was an amazing pet sitter! She was always timely, friendly, and professional, which gave me so much peace of mind. I especially appreciated how she was able to get my shy cat to take her meds which is no small feat! On top of that, her photography skills were such a bonus; I loved getting thoughtful, high-quality updates. I’m so grateful for her care and would absolutely recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family since I was a kid and I’ve helped my parents take care of them over the years. I am my mom’s go-to person to take care of her dogs even though I live almost two hours away. I will make sure you pet gets plenty of potty breaks, gets sufficient exercise by walking or playing, gets fed, and gets plenty of attention, pets and love. I am currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! My days usually include a trip to the gym or a pickleball court. Besides that, I’m usually home job searching, playing video games, and binging my favorite movies and shows which means I will always be present with your pet! My furniture and bed is completely pet friendly. I highly recommend the bed as it is quite comfortable and I encourage your dog to snuggle with me on the couch while we watch tv. My apartment building has a spacious yard, although it is not fenced-in. This means I will be walking with your dog whenever they need to go potty, which is fine because it’s an excuse for me to get outside! I am also a big fan of walks, so I will make sure your dog is getting out and stretching those legs.

About: Ever since becoming a new mom, I’ve had the privilege of spending my days at home doing what I truly love—caring for dogs. Providing a safe, loving, home-like environment for every pup has become part of my everyday life. I treat each dog like family, making sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and affection so they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine because I’m home often and already caring for my own dogs. My schedule allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection throughout the day. I enjoy maintaining routines, keeping pets comfortable, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for at all times. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and medication if needed. In my home, pets receive a safe, calm, and loving environment with plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I respect their space while ensuring pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for, just like they would with their own family.

“Hannah was amazing with Westly! Communication was 10/10 and she went above and beyond to make sure he was warm through intense weather (he’s a Georgia dog, and it snowed). Book her :)”

“Bona was great with communication and taking care of Gipper! We've been reluctant to find new dog sitters since we moved, but had last minute plans. Will definitely ask for her help again.”

“Ulku and Andy are incredibly patient and very easy to communicate! They took great care of my dog, and I know I can always trust them to take her on walks when I’m away. Highly recommend!”

“Mike and Maya are lovely folks and their love of dogs is obvious. They were wonderful with my dog Willy and I am so pleased to have found them. I will use them again!”

About: I’ve always grown up around dogs, including our family dogs which were a lab and a retriever. I know what it’s like to train these wonderful animals and see them as a member of the family. With love also comes discipline and responsibility. I frequently pet sit for friends and family. I am patient, responsible and active. I work remotely doing marketing which allows me to have a very flexible schedule. I live an active lifestyle and take frequent walks around my neighborhood. When coming to a clients home, I prioritize cleanliness and safety for their animals. In terms of my own neighborhood, things are quiet and everyone is friendly.

About: I’ve dog sat several families dogs while they go away on vacation since I was in high school. I have a dog of my own that I’ve trained since she was a puppy! I currently work for Villanova athletics and just moved to the area. My mornings are free until I have to go into the office so why not spend it with dogs! My favorite thing to do is hang out with my dog. She is my whole world and I want someone else’s dog to have the same company when they need to work and have other priorities.
About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). Any other questions, please feel free to reach out! I’m available on weekends for walks or boarding. During the week, I am available after 4pm for walks and feedings until you get home from work. We have a fenced in yard and dogs are welcome on couches and beds, in this house! I also have a 3 year old son who might be a bigger dog lover than we are, to offer additional affection!
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats my entire life along with walking and taking care of various friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets. Everything from small mini poodles to large huskies, energetic puppies to calm senior dogs, kittens to adult cats. I work a full time hybrid job (mostly remote) and have a large amount of flexibility. I’m great with scheduling ahead for play time, walks, or check-ins with your pets and can also be flexible with last minute requests. I’ve always considered my pets family and treat the pets I walk or watch the same way. I’m always very attentive during dog walks to keep them safe while having a fun walk. In home care, like giving food & water or playtime are a big part of my daily life at home, so I’m ready to do the same for your fur babies
About: Hello everyone, my name is Kanassanan, you can call me Kate. I grew up with cats and dogs. I’m not afraid of grumpy cats or jumping dogs. I’m currently having one tuxedo cat and a Sheppard mix. While I’m in college I used to walk my friends' dogs. I love to spend time with them. I’m currently working part-time. I would love to spend my time with your pups. My schedule is flexible and I’m looking to have a good time with them. I have experience babysitting overnight with dogs. I can sleep next to them or keep an eye on them to make sure your pups are safe.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Devon
Joe was amazing!! He went above and beyond for our senior Newfoundland dog while I was away. He was friendly, professional and connected right away with our big guy. Joe provided wonderful communication, including pictures, and I cannot recommend him enough. A++ service from a really great guy!
Katherine was AMAZING!! The photos she sent were so good I think I might hang them on my wall! She was responsive to messages, timely, friendly, and my pets clearly loved her! (And she drew a cool picture of my dog that my kids and I loved! My son attributed it to her and put it on his art wall.)

Marisa was fantastic, especially helping out on Easter! She fed dinner, spent quality time playing outside, and sent photos and videos that showed just how happy and relaxed our goldendoodle was. She was prompt, stayed for the full visit, and clearly put care and attention into every detail. We also really appreciated the meet-and-greet beforehand—it made the whole experience even more comfortable. Highly recommend her!

Laura was absolutely wonderful! She was super communicative, and made the entire experience seamless. She sent photos during the visit, took my dog on a nice walk, and was incredibly kind and friendly throughout. It gave me great peace of mind knowing everything was handled so well. Fantastic experience, I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her! 🐾

Emily responded to our last minute request promptly and graciously . She arrived on time, asked appropriate and relevant questions , and reviewed procedures before I left Our pups were in good hands and I returned to happy pups and a tidy home , no puppy accident .. great job

Ashley has always been reliable and great during her drop-in visits. She communicates clearly, arrives when she says she will, and makes sure our dog is taken care of. Our dog is comfortable with her, and we always feel at ease knowing she’s checking in on him. We appreciate her help and would gladly use her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Devon with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
