With over 25 years of experience caring for pets, I pride myself on my reliability, trustworthiness, and genuine love for animals. I grew up right here on the Main Line (Radnor High alum). I love taking dogs for walks and exploring local parks and trails—it’s one of my favorite ways to bond with them and enjoy nature together. If your pooch is more of a couch potato, I’m just as happy to Netflix, chill, and snuggle with them too! As a Reiki Practitioner, I bring a calming energy that helps anxious pets feel safe and at ease. I adore caring for dogs and cats, and have a special love and expertise with rabbits. I’m also happy to care for a variety of other furry (or not-so-furry!) friends. I shared 20 wonderful years with my cat and 10 with my beloved pet bunny, which gave me hands-on experience in providing compassionate care. I’ve been a trusted babysitter and pet sitter since I was 13, caring for animals of all kinds. People often say I have a calming presence—I’ve seen even the shyest pets warm up to me quickly, which always makes my heart smile. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.

I’m mindful of each pet’s needs, providing a clean, calm, and loving space. In your home, I respect your space and make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved in familiar surroundings.

Marisa is the best pet sitter I have ever known. She’s accountable, sweet and a very good listener. We extended our trip and she was so accommodating. Her videos came over at the same times each morning and evening and made our trip so enjoyable because we saw how happy our cats were with Marisa.
Marisa was fantastic, especially helping out on Easter! She fed dinner, spent quality time playing outside, and sent photos and videos that showed just how happy and relaxed our goldendoodle was. She was prompt, stayed for the full visit, and clearly put care and attention into every detail. We also really appreciated the meet-and-greet beforehand—it made the whole experience even more comfortable. Highly recommend her!

Marisa was amazing! She was prompt in our meeting time and very thorough making sure she was familiar with Cooper’s schedule & routine. During her stay with Cooper, she kept me up to date with pictures, videos and text messages. I knew Cooper was in good hands with Marisa!

We’ve been searching for years for a reliable dogsitter and house sitter and we are so thankful that we found Marisa this year! She has stayed with our dogs several times this year and it makes traveling so much easier and less stressful knowing that she is at our home taking such great care of our pups! We love getting her daily updates and pictures and our dogs always look so happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. Marisa is truly incredible with our dogs — she makes our anxious dog feel comfortable and has such a calming energy that she’s even able to get her out of her comfort zone. She also takes such amazing care of our senior pup, gives him his meds, and makes sure to give him plenty of attention and love. And without even asking her to do this, she leaves our home spotless, sometimes I think it’s even cleaner than how we left it! Marisa is truly the greatest and we are beyond grateful to have found her! We’ll continue to use Marisa anytime we go out of town!
