We also really appreciated the meet-and-greet beforehand—it made the whole experience even more comfortable. Highly recommend her!”

About: I've taken care of, dogs all my life, ranging from puppies to seniors. Friends and family have counted on me watching their pets when they are away or need a quick walk/play. I have a flexible work schedule where I can work from home or be on the road(local) so your pet will not be alone for a few hours max. I am open to watching a dog over nights and weekends. I have a partially fenced in yard that I can block an exit. If I am watching at my home I will have them on leash in the back yard and be outside playing with them. My home is Located in Conshohocken so it is very walkable on the streets and have easy access to the Schuylkill River Trail. I live across from a park where I am able take your dog for a long walk as well. When I watch at a clients home I am respectful, clean, and make sure I leave it better than when I arrived.
“Roxanne came to my rescue after we booked a last minute getaway! She watched Lucy once before and was excellent so I knew Lucy would be in good hands and I could relax while away. Roxanne showed up right on time and sent texts and photos for all drop in visits. Will definitely request her again. Thanks Roxanne!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young teen (around 15 years experience) and have cared for a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, and small pets like rats, bunnies, hamsters, etc. I have also volunteered at rescues providing animal care, enrichment, and socialization. I have experience with senior pets, sick and medically complex animals, and hospice care for cats and dogs. I’m comfortable supporting pets with special needs, including disabled dogs and cats, and I approach every animal with patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I have two happy cats of my own! My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care so animal friends feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I work about 20–30 hours a week as a counselor, but I have a flexible schedule where I set my own hours. This allows me to build pet care into my daily and weekly routine with ease. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening visits, and I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of pets and their owners. I prioritize consistency and reliability so pets get care when they need it most. In a client’s home, I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I prioritize care, play, and one-on-one attention, and I take time to understand each pet’s unique needs, routines, and favorite activities. I aim to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal schedule and incorporating the things they enjoy most.
“Maxi is incredibly kind, responsive and loving. It feels like Nola has become an extension of their family. She even whimpers with excitement when we pull up for her to stay with Mazi! Recommended whole-heartedly from a dog obsessed owner.”

“Hannah was amazing with Westly! Communication was 10/10 and she went above and beyond to make sure he was warm through intense weather (he’s a Georgia dog, and it snowed). Book her :)”

About: I’ve dog sat several families dogs while they go away on vacation since I was in high school. I have a dog of my own that I’ve trained since she was a puppy! I currently work for Villanova athletics and just moved to the area. My mornings are free until I have to go into the office so why not spend it with dogs! My favorite thing to do is hang out with my dog. She is my whole world and I want someone else’s dog to have the same company when they need to work and have other priorities.
“Rachael watched our 2 cats for 3 days when we were out of town. She sent lots of pictures every time she went to feed them which we appreciated! ? She even went above and beyond to wash their feeding dishes. She was extremely thoughtful and professional and we will definitely be using her again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Other than having treated every injury possible over my 40 years experience, I have taken multiple courses in handling the care of dogs, including medications, shots and emergency care. I am currently retired for my full time work so I have plenty of availability., 24 hours 365 days except when I am with my grand kids. So my philosophy is that there has to be time spent socializing with dogs in addition to walking and feeding. Playing and bounding has to be a priority as well. Mutual trust and respect has to be earned by both, the handler and the dog to have a happy dog even if his/her family is away.
About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). Any other questions, please feel free to reach out! I’m available on weekends for walks or boarding. During the week, I am available after 4pm for walks and feedings until you get home from work. We have a fenced in yard and dogs are welcome on couches and beds, in this house! I also have a 3 year old son who might be a bigger dog lover than we are, to offer additional affection!
About: I have experience with a plethora of different animals. My experience ranges from horses, sheep, dogs, cats, ducks, mice. I can do it all. I recently graduated with an animal science degree, and I work at Havertown Animal Hospital as a veterinary technician. I have some flexibility outside of work hours and on weekends. My diverse experiences and adaptability have shaped me into a trustworthy, hard working individual. I have references upon request! I have time during mornings and afternoons as well as midday if you’re close by. I do work full time, so I’m very transparent about what I can and can’t do! My Shiba Inu and my Australian Shepherd are my babies. I devote time to give them enriching lives even with my busy schedule. I live in an apartment with a high energy dog so I have to make it work or else she would go stir crazy! I plan to treat your animals with the same love and care I do for my own, as well as the animals I work with. Positive reinforcement is my key to success to build positive relationships with your animals. I want them to be excited to hang out with me so that they feel safe while you’re away.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wayne
Emma was wonderful with Benny while we were away. She was very reliable, kept me updated every day, and paid close attention to his food, water, and overall behavior. I really appreciated how thoughtful and communicative she was, especially since Benny can be a little cautious with new people. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was checking on him every day. I would definitely recommend Emma and would be happy to book with her again!

Jamie was amazing. She was able to give meds to my very old cat and my dog loved her. I messed up and left the wrong key for Jamie to get in, and she was so responsive and ended up coming back an hour after we figured out a way for her to get in. She sent updates daily and was the most punctual and responsible petsitter I have found on Rover. Thank you Jamie!
Julie took wonderful care of my two dogs while I was away. She was caring, attentive, and treated them as if they were her own. I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. She kept me updated, made sure all of their needs were met, and gave them plenty of love and attention. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs. I highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate pet sitter.

Joanna was terrific! Our dog immediately took to her and Joanna was kind and thoughtful. Joanna was especially attentive to our dog’s stomach sensitivities and followed our vet’s instructions. She kept us informed with regular reports and sent us daily pictures and videos so we could see that Dexter was doing well. She relieved our anxiety of being away and made us feel comfortable and reassured that Dexter was being well taken care of. We highly recommend Joanna and would gladly hire her again.

Marisa was fantastic, especially helping out on Easter! She fed dinner, spent quality time playing outside, and sent photos and videos that showed just how happy and relaxed our goldendoodle was. She was prompt, stayed for the full visit, and clearly put care and attention into every detail. We also really appreciated the meet-and-greet beforehand—it made the whole experience even more comfortable. Highly recommend her!

Laura was absolutely wonderful! She was super communicative, and made the entire experience seamless. She sent photos during the visit, took my dog on a nice walk, and was incredibly kind and friendly throughout. It gave me great peace of mind knowing everything was handled so well. Fantastic experience, I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her! 🐾

Ashley has always been reliable and great during her drop-in visits. She communicates clearly, arrives when she says she will, and makes sure our dog is taken care of. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
