I am an RN and experienced with giving medications and treatments including insulin, inhalers, and post surgery care, etc.. Animal lover and advocate for over three decades. Love Seniors too! PLEASE NOTE: If requesting House sitting, Henry will be coming with! ; ) I personally use holistic and natural remedies on my pets unless absolutely necessary to use medications. Ask me about natural remedies that reduces oxidative stress and inflammation by over 40% in humans and mammals. Great for cats and horses too. It helped to heal an ACL issue with Henry in about 5 weeks and has given him boundless energy as he ages.

Joanna was terrific! Our dog immediately took to her and Joanna was kind and thoughtful. Joanna was especially attentive to our dog’s stomach sensitivities and followed our vet’s instructions. She kept us informed with regular reports and sent us daily pictures and videos so we could see that Dexter was doing well. She relieved our anxiety of being away and made us feel comfortable and reassured that Dexter was being well taken care of. We highly recommend Joanna and would gladly hire her again.

My dog Mabel absolutely LOVED her stay with Joanna and Henry! She was so happy and calm for her stay and I know that because of all the wonderful pictures and videos that Joanna sent while we were gone. Mabel usually comes back with an upset stomach when she stays with someone other than us, but this was not the case with Joanna. I know she kept a close eye on her and made sure she didn’t eat weird random things outside and that she gave her the attention and love she is used to. Henry and Mabel because quick friends and that was the icing on the cake!! We are so happy to have found someone we can truly trust with our girl and will definitely be using her when we go away again:)
Joana was wonderful! One of my cats needs medicine twice a day in a specific timeframe and she was prompt and very trustworthy. They were obviously well cared for when I got home. Will definitely book Joana for my next vacation!
Coco Chanel didn't want to leave her vacation with Joanna. She was quite the happy little girl and Joanna kept me updated by sending pictures throughout her stay. We will definitely be booking with Joanna again.

I am an RN Care Manager/advocate for seniors and a Transformational Holistic Nurse Coach. I work for myself, so can be totally flexible with your needs and the needs of your pets! I am trustworthy, punctual, and professional and will take great care of your home as if it were my own.

I like to take care of pets in their home as it has always seemed less stressful for them, but can accommodate small dogs at my place too and make them feel right at home! I have a small, happy, friendly bichon-poodle who LOVES other dogs!! I've done house sitting and managed the needs of large households as well. PLEASE NOTE: If requesting House sitting, Henry will be coming too! ; )
Pets
A typical day
Walks in the neighborhood, trips to the local dog park, LOTS of toys and play, treat times, interaction with other dogs if allowed and appropriate to your needs/needs of your pet. I let pets have the run of my house within reason (certain doors closed) and they are welcome to make themselves comfortable while I am working in my home. If they are crate trained I'll abide by your guidelines. If they are housebroken and well-behaved adults, they can be unrestricted in the house with Henry while I am away which is usually no longer than 3-4 hours at a time. I will abide by your rules about sleeping on furniture & beds so as not to confuse them.
