Communication was effortless and prompt at every step. We arranged to have Aimee pick up our gal from a friend who had been watching her at first before having to head out of town. Pickup was seamless and made things so much easier for us and our friend. She sent us lots of updates—and a few really made us laugh. Aimee even took the time to brush her thick wooly coat after we apologized for her wild hair since her usual grooming appointment fell during the visit. When we picked up our pup, our gal was calm and happy. She also had everything packed up and ready to go when we got there, once again making it such an easy process. From the pictures she sent, it was so clear that Aimee and her husband made our dog part of their family while she was with them and that our dog had a blast.”

“WOW - I don't even know where to start. I've been boarding / working with pet sitter's for over 14 years and Christin is top tier. Not only is her home so perfect for dogs (a big backyard?! such a treat!), her demeanor and understanding of dog behavior makes her one of the best. When we had our meet-and-greet my pups instantly starting showing signs of being relaxed (playing with toys and eating bones which never happens at new places) and kept going up to Christin for pets and love. Christin provided ample updates and photos and was super understanding of the quirks and difficulties of caring for a senior pup. It's hard to leave my 15.5 year old dog but I trusted Christin immediately. I will be re-booking for sure even just for single days for my dogs to enjoy her yard.”

About: As experienced dog owners, we are familiar with periods of puppy & teenager, have expectations for accidents, demand of attentions and needs of releasing energy. We have two fixed male dogs & 3 cats at home. Dog is energetic and friendly. Cats are shy, they usually just stay away from dog(s).We have our family room cleared for dog to play, and a fenced backyard that allows dog to burn their energy anytime. We are looking forward to meeting and taking care of dogs&cats! Zhuoran is currently at home 24/7. All dogs are crate-free in family room unless there is behavior issue during the day, and all dogs stay in the bedroom with us at night. - Dog walking schedule: 6:30am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and before bed time. In weekends we take dogs to fully fenced dog parks for 30~60min. Schedules are adjustable as needed. I'm currently stay at home 24/7. We wake up 6:00am for the first walk, and a short walk every 3~5 hours. My working station is in the family room right next to dogs, so I can take care of the dogs quickly if anything happened. We have a cleared family room with a safe gate, the whole space is belong to the dogs. We also have a fully fenced backyard that allows dogs to burn their energy and enjoy the fresh air.
“Houston is a very particular, somewhat fearful and needy little angel whom Alessandra was able to provide just the right environment for. After each visit, he came home happy, healthy and tired! When I dropped him off at the bigger daycare centers in the area, he would be shaking before we even walked in the door. He cried when I left him and he was so stressed and overwhelmed when I picked him up, he would take long trauma naps through dinner and breakfast the next day. In Alessandra's home, he is able to roam and lay wherever, whenever; he gets plenty of walks and enjoys her backyard. More importantly (for him), he has a limited number of playmates, so he can avoid the burnout and feeling of being overwhelmed and there is plenty of space to take a break as needed. This intimate environment seems to do much better for him and we are very appreciative of the love Alessandra shows Houston. We get lots of photos and updates every day. I find Alessandra to be very flexible, communicative and easy to talk to. We won't be looking elsewhere unless she is fully booked!”

About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). I am available Monday through Friday 9am to 5 pm anytime. If other days are needed don’t he’s to ask as I might have availability on the weekends as well! I live on the end of a cul-de-sac with no main road so I am able to allow your fur babies to run around in my backyard without any danger

“WOW - I don't even know where to start. I've been boarding / working with pet sitter's for over 14 years and Christin is top tier. Not only is her home so perfect for dogs (a big backyard?! such a treat!), her demeanor and understanding of dog behavior makes her one of the best. When we had our meet-and-greet my pups instantly starting showing signs of being relaxed (playing with toys and eating bones which never happens at new places) and kept going up to Christin for pets and love. Christin provided ample updates and photos and was super understanding of the quirks and difficulties of caring for a senior pup. It's hard to leave my 15.5 year old dog but I trusted Christin immediately. I will be re-booking for sure even just for single days for my dogs to enjoy her yard.”

“Joanna is the BEST of what Rover has to offer. Our 10 month old Goldendoodle Benny was cared for by her as if he was her own. We were out of the country for 6 days and the stress of having to leave him at a boarding facility was just too much. So I turned to Rover and after a few misses, found Joanna. On paper she sounded perfect. Before we actually booked anything we met up at a park near her house and she brought her little dude Henry. We spent about 30 minutes together and talked, watched the dogs play, and by the end of it I knew she was exactly what we were looking for in a 'dog sitter'. Honestly she feels more like a friend after this experience. She sent daily (and nightly) updates with pics and videos so I could see for myself just how happy our Benny was in her care. Benny's a really sweet dog but has MAJOR puppy energy and she was able to deal with it like a pro. And her boy Henry was just the sweetest. And when Benny got to be too much for him he had NO problem letting him know who was the king rooster in the house!!! hahaha I really can not recommend Joanna enough. So so grateful to have found her!!!”
