About: I am currently a vet tech who is applying to vet school. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelors of science in animal and poultry sciences in December of 2024. I have taken many classes that focus on animal behavior and training. I’m trained in administrating medication for both cats and dogs. I have also worked with pets that have myriads of health and behavioral issues. I have my own dog, Maisy. We are both accustomed to early mornings and late nights. I am very flexible and can help out whenever needed. My dog is harness trained, face harness trained, and shock collar trained. We eat at scheduled times and she is trained to wait for treats/food until allowed. I will treat clients pets similar to my own. I will get to know them, build a relationship, and interact with them in ways that make us both feel comfortable. I also work in a Fear Free clinic and have learned how to make animals comfortable in my presence.
“Daphne cared four my cat Eloise every day for over a month (mid August to mid September) while I was traveling and I can’t express how kind and thoughtful she was the whole time. Excellent care and communication, and I felt like a friend/family member was doing the job the whole time. She goes the extra mile and it shows! I’d love to have her back in the future!”

“Kaitlyn took excellent care of our two cats. She took the time to let them get to know and accept her in our absence and kept us updated on how they are doing with daily photos. Will definitely call on Kaitlyn again!”

“Edie was fantastic with our pup! This was our first time having someone take care of our puppy when we were not home and Edie made the process easy. Our puppy was happy, well fed, and rested when we got home. She sent a handful of pics and a detailed update about her visit. We know our puppy is in good hands with Edie!”

“They were wonderful with our dog, who is large and high energy. We received a lot of pictures and communications. Walks can be difficult but they managed him well. Would recommend this duo to anyone! Thank you again for caring for Otis!”

“Wonderful! Quinn is the best and my cat loves her! She’s so responsive and keeps him entertained while I’m away! She also makes sure the house is clean and just as I left it! I highly recommend her! Super pleasant and nice too!”

“Our first time using Talia and she did a wonderful job caring for our Golden! We will definitely use her again. She was very reliable and our Sadie was well cared for while we were away!”
“Our black lab has tons of energy. We recently starting asking Julia to take her out on 3-5 mile runs. Anyone looking for someone to give their dog a good workout should definitely contact Julia!”

“Brittany was super reliable! She visited my sweet H twice a day, as we agreed. She made sure he was well taken care of. He was fed, groomed and had great time playing with her. I will definitely call her next time I need cat sitting. Thank you!”

“Adrianna was wonderful and perfect for our kitties. She provide lots of play for our overactive kitty and took time to find our older and shy kitty to share some love! Our pets were loved and fed timely and seemed in good moods despite our absence. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: Other than having treated every injury possible over my 40 years experience, I have taken multiple courses in handling the care of dogs, including medications, shots and emergency care. I am currently retired for my full time work so I have plenty of availability., 24 hours 365 days except when I am with my grand kids. So my philosophy is that there has to be time spent socializing with dogs in addition to walking and feeding. Playing and bounding has to be a priority as well. Mutual trust and respect has to be earned by both, the handler and the dog to have a happy dog even if his/her family is away.
“Joanna was great. I booked her to drop in to walk my dog. I appreciate her good communication and her follow-up, including a picture and details of her visit. I have already booked her again.”

“Alexandra takes amazing care of my cats - one is a bit skittish and she has consistently taken the time to get him comfortable with her which gives me so much peace of mind. She is so thoughtful when she stops by and will clean bowls, vacuum around the litter box and clean it out which is so nice to come home to! I’ve had Alexandra come watch Finn and Simon a few times and will absolutely have her take care of them again!”

“James was great! Our nervous dog warmed up to him very quickly. He followed all our instructions for special care. Every visit he sent notes & photos. We will definitely use him in the future :)”

“First time with Tori and it won’t be our last! She was incredible- shows up when she said she would and took fantastic care of our dog. She truly loves pets and it shows. Highly recommend and will book again!”
