About: I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from judgy chihuahuas to laid-back Bernese mountain dogs. I’ve taken care of them from their playful puppy days through their senior years. I’m patient, experienced, and understand that every dog has their own unique personality, and I’m here for all of it! I currently work full-time (9am–5pm, Monday through Friday), but I’m flexible and happy to coordinate with your schedule to make sure your baby gets the care they need! I prioritize safety and trust by keeping open, honest communication. As long as you fill me in on any quirks, meds, or non-negotiables, I’ll keep things running just how they like it. And if anything feels off or out of my league, I’ll be honest, because your dog’s safety is way more important than winging it!

About: I have been caring for my grandparents dogs while they go on vacation ever since I was 10, always making sure they were walked, fed, and kept in clean conditions. Caring for animals is never about just getting the job done for me, I genuinely love animals of all kind and enjoy interacting with them and getting to know each pets personality. In the absence of pets of my own, I have even taken to befriending crows, squirrels, chipmunks, and more in my backyard so that I still get to engage with animals daily. I currently only work part time on certain days, allowing me full freedom to care for your animals as often as needed to ensure they do not get lonely or bored while you are away! I always make sure the animals basic needs are met—food, water, and physical/mental stimulation—but also go above and beyond to make the animal feel loved and less anxious while their families are away.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was a young teen (around 15 years experience) and have cared for a wide range of animals, including cats, dogs, and small pets like rats, bunnies, hamsters, etc. I have also volunteered at rescues providing animal care, enrichment, and socialization. About: My experience caring for dogs began when I helped a neighbor care for his dog while he worked nights. I helped with walks, made sure he had food and fresh water, spent time with him, and gave him plenty of attention and affection. That experience showed me how much I enjoyed caring for dogs. I later became a dog owner myself and cared for my pit bull/boxer mix, Maxx from the time he was about five months old until he was 14 years old. Over those years, Max truly became part of my family, and I learned firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, understanding a dog’s personality, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. Aaren is so very attentive, reliable, and sweet towards pets! I was so relieved to have her looking and attending to my gerbils while away in Europe for a week and a half. She is great with communication and truly a wonderful caregiver, going above and beyond!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
