About: I've always had a dog in my life. Since a child we always had a family dog and always have loved them. I now have the best cat ever. For many years I've watched friends pets (and new furry friends made on rover). It's always fun getting to play with them, take them out for long walks, and loving them as if they were my own. About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.
About: We have 4 dogs and 2 cats. We have lived with animals the entire life. We have experience with animals with medical conditions, severe anxiety and can take care of multiple furry babies. Experiences with large and small breeds. Since we have 6 pets at our house we are not able to board at this time but can totally up for staying at your place! For my planned week away, my flight home was canceled and I needed her to walk the dog at night, although we hadn’t planned for that.
