Pet care experience

Our Fur Babies Are Family too♥️💙

My experience caring for dogs began when I helped a neighbor care for his dog while he worked nights. I helped with walks, made sure he had food and fresh water, spent time with him, and gave him plenty of attention and affection. That experience showed me how much I enjoyed caring for dogs. I later became a dog owner myself and cared for my pit bull/boxer mix, Maxx from the time he was about five months old until he was 14 years old. Over those years, Max truly became part of my family, and I learned firsthand the importance of patience, consistency, understanding a dog’s personality, and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I would bring that same care and attention to every dog entrusted to me.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will follow the owner’s instructions and keep their pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean and comfortable environment, and plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away.

Kimberly has loved animals since she was a child. Over the years, Ive watched her care for dogs, cats, parakeets and even a ferret that lived 8 years. It has always amazed me how much animals seem to love and trust her in return. When she takes an an animal into her heart, she is devoted to them for their entire live and is there for them until the very end. That is not easy but she has always said that when the time comes to say goodbye to one of her babies, she wants to be the last face they see so they know they are loved and never alone.

I've known Kimberly for many years and saw firsthand how loving and patient she was with our dog, Max. Max was a 75-pound pit bull that I adopted as a puppy. At the time, Kimberly lived in the same building, and through our conversations we realized she could help me care for Max while I worked the night shift, which she was more than happy to do. Kimberly would take Max for his daily walks after work and stop in to make sure he had food, fresh water, and, of course, some treats. I remember how quickly Max became attached to her and how their bond grew over time. Max was Kimberly's first real experience caring for a dog, and although caring for a large, energetic dog could sometimes be challenging, she was always patient with him and truly fell in love with him. Over the years, Max became just as much Kimberly's dog as he was mine. She helped care for him throughout his entire life, from the time he was a puppy until he was about 15 years old. When the difficult time came to say goodbye to Max, Kimberly was there with him until the very end. It was clear how much she loved him and how much he meant to her. I saw firsthand how seriously Kimberly took Max's care and how much his happiness and well-being meant to her. Based on the way I watched her care for Max over so many years, I would absolutely trust Kimberly to care for someone else's pet with the same patience, attention, and affection she gave him.

Schedule

Pet care fits very well into my daily routine because I currently have a flexible schedule and can make time throughout the day to give pets the attention and care they need. I’m available for scheduled visits, feeding, playtime, companionship, and walks when needed. I enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets is something that fits naturally into my day.

I’d love to know about your pet’s personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any medications or special needs. Please also let me know about any fears, triggers, behavioral concerns, or anything else that will help me keep your pet comfortable and safe. For dogs, I’d also like to know how they behave on walks and whether they tend to pull on the leash.
