About: I have always loved caring for animals! From a young age, you could find me outside playing with my dogs or helping care for neighbors' pets. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, from a sun-loving Chihuahua to a talkative Husky. As a recent college graduate missing my family dog, I would love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide dependable care, lots of attention, and plenty of love during every walk or drop in visit. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. As a recent college graduate with a flexible schedule, I can provide dependable walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the week Your pet's well being comes first! Whether we're going for a walk or enjoying a drop in visit, I'll ensure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I prioritize your care instructions, safety during walks and visits, and provide updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for.

“Katelyn sat for my cat Cosmo and I’m thankful that she was able to help out. Cosmo warmed up to her quickly and he was always happy to see her when she came. The photos she sent were a nice touch also. I’d be happy if she could sit for Cosmo again sometime in the future and I’m sure Cosmo wouldn’t mind either.”

About: I'm Devon and I've grown up with dogs my whole life. My family loves labs so I've always had them growing up. My friends and family have all different kinds of dogs from small to big and shy to friendly. I like to say that I get along with every dog I meet because I'm very good at handling different kinds of dogs. I love dogs and can't wait to take yours for a walk! My availability is very flexible at the moment. I am happy to be flexible and get your pup what they need to be happy and safe! I have a large crate set up for my dog. He prefers blankets in it so I have blankets for them. I’m happy to make it however so your dog is comfortable!

About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.
“Talia was amazing! I booked her last minute and she made everything work very smoothly. You can tell she genuinely cares, everything felt easy and stress-free from the start. My cats got along great with her! I’d absolutely recommend booking her!”

“Talia was absolutely amazing I cannot recommend enough!! She communicated wonderfully and took the time to get to know my cat’s personality. The pictures were great and I felt relaxed on my vacation knowing that Talia was giving my cat some love / cuddle time. 10/10 would recommend!!”

I have a car so I can travel to you or bring your dog to a park or walk on a path. Whatever you are comfortable with. I live in a nice community where I am able to take dogs on long safe walks. If you need in home care, I am open to drop ins or hosting at my apartment. My cat is very respectful and is used to other animals.

I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny Pomeranians to gentle Great Danes, as well as pets of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. Previously, I provided pet-sitting services through ........ and am excited to continue doing what I love on Rover. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease. “Oh my goodness! She is the absolute best! I stressed all night before because I didn’t want to leave my pup while I was at work for 12 hours. Lindsay helped me set up a time and she arrived perfectly! She gave him a walk and spent so much time with him! I cannot thank her enough and will be hiring her again. I highly highly recommend her. She is absolutely amazing!”

About: I have lots of experience caring for all kinds of pets! I’ve worked with trainers for reactive dogs (I have one of my own), and I also care for a senior cat with complex needs. I love all animals. Because I create my own schedule for nursing, I often have days and nights free for pet care! I have a car and can fit all sorts of animal care needs into my schedule. When caring for your pets, I will spend lots of time playing, giving them cuddles, and taking them outside when needed. I will make sure they are happy.
“Skylar did a fantastic job taking care of my two cats while I was away for 2 weeks on business. My cats warmed up to her quickly. The care was complicated by some medical issues with my cats, and the fact that I had just recently moved to a new place, but she handled everything fantastically and kept the cats happy and healthy”

“Hannah was great! She’s super nice and did a good job at letting my dog who is skeptical of new people get comfortable with her. I’d definitely work with her again!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and have experience for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats. I am also comfortable with fish, reptiles, and other small pets, so I can cover any additional pets other than dogs and cats. What sets me apart is that I treat every pet as an individual. Whether your pets loves walks, or playing, or just company to hang out with, I’ll make sure to give them the care they need, as well as the style they prefer. I know how stressful it can be to leave a pet with someone else, so I value communication above all. Whether it be photos, quick updates, or detailed summaries of each visit, I prioritize a clean and quick path of communication, from the moment my services are required, the moment they’re complete. I am currently out of school and starting a full-time job in late August, so this summer is very open for me. I do not currently have a part-time position, so my days are super open and I will take all work offered to me. I live in Wayne, with a large, fenced-in yard, around a spacious and clean home. I have siblings, all of which have as much experience with and love for animals as I do. With my siblings being in school and having sports and jobs, and my parents having work, the house is usually completely empty anyways. We are the ‘go-to’ house when any family or friends need a pet-sitter, so we’re all very comfortable dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Katherine was AMAZING!! The photos she sent were so good I think I might hang them on my wall! She was responsive to messages, timely, friendly, and my pets clearly loved her! (And she drew a cool picture of my dog that my kids and I loved! My son attributed it to her and put it on his art wall.)

Thank you again Soraya for the great care you provided to Kiara!! she really likes you! you kept me informed and I was very confident she was well during my vacation! I appreciate what you did, helping me with her vet (food) recommendations and following all instructions. Thank you again

Morgan asked detailed questions and updated me with info and pictures throughout the visit. She took her time getting to know our cats to allow them to get comfortable enough to even pet them and interact with them. She was great and took great care of our 2 cats and 2 bunnies!

Marisa is the best pet sitter I have ever known. She’s accountable, sweet and a very good listener. We extended our trip and she was so accommodating. Her videos came over at the same times each morning and evening and made our trip so enjoyable because we saw how happy our cats were with Marisa.

Meredeth and Jeremy were absolutely wonderful! They were caring, reliable, and sincere about providing excellent care for our two cats over a multi-day booking. Highly recommended! Thank you guys again for really going above and beyond to provide us with peace and trust and thoughtful communication. It meant so much to us!

Both my cat and I loved Isabella. She genuinely cares, and it shows. She provided detailed updates with photos during check in, giving us total peace of mind while we were away. Her communication was prompt and thorough, answering all our questions. I hope to rebook her soon!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
