“Mary Jane did a wonderful job taking care of our two Havanese pups. She was very good at communicating with us and keeping us updated during our trip. I really felt like she cared about our pups and was a great guest in our home. She even washed the sheets and towels and had the bed made before we got home. That was so nice of her! Anyway we will definitely hire Mary Jane again.”

About: Animals have always been my passion and your pet's well-being will always come first. I work in a very timely manner and am proactive to let you know about how your pet is doing! I am in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer and spend 30+ hours volunteering at the animal shelter. I have open availability for the summer and would love to help care for your furry companion! My schedule is Sunday - Saturday, with earliest appointments at 8AM and latest at 8PM. Caring for pets in your home requires trust and respect. I keep to the main community areas of your home - this generally includes the living room, kitchen, and backyard, as well as access to one bathroom. I will assume any other place as off-limits unless otherwise specified. Supplies such as leashes, collars, harnesses, treats, etc. that you provide will be returned back to their original location at the end of my stay. Keys can either be left in a hidden lock box or on my person - I take care to properly label and safely store any keys to ensure they are returned when needed.

“Vicki did a phenomenal job taking care of our boy Mylo. Mylo had to get some emergency stitches the day before we were going out of town. Vicki handled his care perfectly, sent us regular updates and dealt with all the drama that comes with Mylo having to wear a cone. We cannot thank her enough and absolutely would recommend her to everyone else.”

“Dawn did a wonderful job watching our older dog and keeping the house looking great. She administered all her medications, provided walks, sent plenty of pictures etc. We would definitely use Dawn again in a heartbeat.”

“Georgina did a great job with Mikko and Kona! This was her first house sitting visit with them, and she quickly acclimated to their personalities! She was communicative, thorough with the instructions, and made sure they were comfortable and had a good time! Mikko and Kona warned up to her quickly, and she earned their trust fast. Look forward to hosting Georgina again in a few weeks!”

“We have had the pleasure of having Betsy as our pet and house sitter twice now, and she has truly exceeded our expectations both times. The first occasion was in July 2024, when we went on a nearly three-week trip and needed someone to take care of our two cats, Ringo and Paul. Betsy did an outstanding job, and we didn't hesitate to book her again for the first week of January 2025. Betsy is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. She kept us updated with pictures and messages about our cats, which brought us great peace of mind. Ringo and Paul absolutely adore her and follow her around the house. In fact, she gives them more attention than we probably do! 🐾 Not only does Betsy take excellent care of our pets, but she also leaves our home even cleaner than when she arrived. She handles small tasks with ease and is delightfully agreeable. Communication with Betsy is a breeze; she's friendly and always keeps us informed. We couldn't ask for a better pet and house sitter. If you are looking for someone who is caring, responsible, and communicative, look no further than Betsy. We highly recommend her services!”

“Aida was great! She communicated with us throughout our trip giving us lots of updates. Our old dog has dementia and has gotten to be harder for strangers to win over and less regular in his schedule - but Aida took it in her stride and was patient with him. By the time we got home our dog seemed perfectly comfortable with her, which is a big compliment from him. We'll book her again if she's available!”

“Brittany truly was amazing! We were nervous leaving our pups overnight, especially going somewhere with little cell service, but she calmed all of our nerves and truly was amazing! Brittany also vacuumed and left the house in the exact shape if not better than when we left. Highly recommend and will absolutely rebook if the need arises again!”

“Lara is a professional through and through. She was really on top of all aspects of caring for our furry babies. We loved that she kept in touch daily and sent many adorable pictures - even left us a few framed!! We felt that she was very honest in how our babes were handling our absence, which we appreciated. You can just tell this is what Lara does well and she takes it very seriously. If you are nervous at all about leaving your little ones, I highly recommend that you chose Lara because she will really put you at ease and take the best care of your friends. We will absolutely choose her again if she is free next time we go on vacation.”

“Thank you so much for your kindness and caring nature, Gray. Milo being such a new pup truly appreciated you. Your attentiveness and attention to detail was much appreciated! We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you again soon!”

About: What sets me apart is my genuine love and patience for every pet, combined with hands-on experience caring for puppies and senior dogs alike. I understand the unique needs of young pups, like training, socialization, and gentle guidance, as well as the extra attention and care senior dogs require, including medication administration and gentle exercise. I’m highly attentive to each pet’s personality and health needs, making sure every walk, play session, or rest period is tailored just for them. Safety is my top priority, but I also focus on making sure your pet feels loved, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Plus, I’m reliable, communicative, and always quick to update you with photos and messages so you feel connected and confident in the care I provide. I take my dog on daily walks, and I have free time to love on other pups too! I take care of my dogs as well as other dogs food, water, medication, and any additional needs they have. Sadly I do not offer boarding services at this time. I hope to in the future, but until then I'm sure your pup and I will have a great time in his own home.

Danville pet parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time using Rover or a pet sitter, and Lila put me at ease, answered any questions I had with patience and care, and explained things to me very well. I felt very at peace leaving Merlin in her expert care. He's an indoor/outdoor, and we live in a semi rural area, so lots of ways for him to get into trouble, but I knew if anything went awry, Lila would take care of it in my stead. He was well taken care of, I received lovely photos and updates whilst away. I Definitely will use Lila again!!

Bella stayed at our house to take care of our dog Maggie this weekend, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She was friendly, communicative, and sent us lots of pictures. Maggie was clearly well taken care of and was happy and relaxed when we got back. Bella also left our house in great condition. We highly recommend her for anyone in need of a reliable and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Bella!

Lena did a great job taking care of Frankie when I was on a long trip to Portugal! I could tell Frankie was very comfortable with Lena when I saw a pic of her sleeping on her lap. Lena took her on hiking adventures too. My home was spotless when I got home. I will gladly use Lena’s services again if she is available!

I am singing Kat and Quinn’s praises once again. These are the animal lovers you want to care for your pups. They are responsible, caring, dependable and all around good humans. Our dogs enjoy being with Kat and Quinn, so we feel at ease being away from our dogs. It’s a win win! Kat and Quinn are the best dog sitters!

Seth was an outstanding dog sitter for my Boston terrier, during a two-week stay. He was punctual, communicated quickly and effectively, and kept my house spotless. Most importantly, Jazz is doing great, and I could tell he was well cared for and happy. I highly recommend Seth to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter!

Asha was wonderful with our dog Ruby! We would definitely have her pet/housesit for us again. Ruby is older and she needs medicine 3 times per day and Asha took care of this, her walks and everything else we needed done while we were away. She took the time to come and meet Ruby before our trip and was very gentle and caring with her. Both Ruby and our home were in fantastic hands…thank you Asha!
