About: Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been surrounded by various pets at a time, from reptiles to birds to mammals. Having grown up this way, I’ve learned to love all animals big and small. I also understand the concern of leaving my pets alone for longer periods of time and would like be of service to fellow pet owners in relieving some of your anxiety by being there to take care of your furry, feathery, or scaly babies for you as though they were my own. I have experience with sick and older animals so I’m willing to look after pets needing extra care and patience. I have/had reptiles, chickens, and rodents of my own and am not afraid of handling live feed if needed, or following special instructions for animals of the sort. I have yet to start college so I am very free most days and at most times to drop in and care for your pets and give them as much company as needed. I’ll respect any boundaries that you have in your home. I can administer food and medicine and be sure to play with your pets or just keep them company. If they have a certain routine, let’s say in the mornings or night I can also be sure to adhere to that.

“Cathryn did a great job looking after my dog Sasha. She was very reliable and punctual, provided informative updates so I knew I didn’t have to worry while I was gone, and Sasha seemed to really enjoy her care and company. I look forward to having her work with Sasha again in the future.”

“Colleen was amazing with Dillon she delivered everything she promised and I felt very comfortable and confident that Dillon was well tended. I hope to work with Colleen again for our next trip! Dillon gives Colleen 5 paws!!”

About: When my friend's dog sitter cancelled last minute before her trip, she asked me to take care of her dog, Chief. Although I was new to caring for dogs, my experience with my Persian cat gave me the confidence to help out. Welcoming Chief into my home, I quickly fell in love with his playful antics and loyal companionship. What began as a favour soon turned into a deep bond between us. Since then, I’ve become the go-to sitter for all my pet parent friends. Working from home and being a responsible, available person has made me the perfect choice for taking care of their furry friends. Being a part time student with no job grants me the flexibility to provide care during weekdays without any hassle. With my weekends mornings predominantly free, I can easily accommodate and work around a flexible schedule to ensure that your needs are met efficiently and effectively. My house is in a gated community with a small fenced yard which provides an added layer of safety. When taking care of pets, I ensure they have a great time with outdoor adventures; Taking dogs for long walks in the park, games of fetch, tug-of-war, and hide-and-seek to keep them active and entertained and providing a cozy space for them to relax and nap, ensuring they feel safe and at home.

About: Hi! I’m Haley, and animals have always been at the heart of my life. I share my home with three wonderful dogs—each with their own personality, special needs, and routines—which has taught me the importance of patience, positive reinforcement training, and gentle care. I have hands-on experience with: • Administering daily medications, allergy treatments, and special diets • Puppy training (basic commands, “leave it,” “stay,” leash work, and enrichment games) • Providing enrichment and mental stimulation (treat puzzles, scent games, and structured play) • Managing multi-dog households, including dogs with anxiety or reactivity • Prioritizing safety indoors and outdoors, including secure yard setups and supervised play I understand every pet is unique, and I’m dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved—whether it’s during a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay. I work every other week at Joybound until about 3 PM, which means I’m available mornings, evenings, and most weekends that week. On my off weeks, I’m fairly flexible and can offer daytime care, midday walks, and extra availability for drop-ins or house sitting. This rotating schedule helps me balance consistent, quality care and makes it easier to accommodate both regular and last-minute requests! 🏡 In my home: • I provide a calm, pet-safe environment with secure areas (indoors & yard). • Pets get daily enrichment like treat puzzles, scent games, and toy play to keep them mentally and physically engaged. • I stick to each pet’s feeding schedule and any medication routines they have. • Walks, potty breaks, and cuddle time are balanced around your pet’s normal routine so they feel at home. • Pets have cozy spots for rest, and I supervise interactions if there are multiple pets, making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. 🏠 In your home: • I keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible — same walk routes, feeding times, play sessions, and sleep spots. • I follow your care instructions closely, including special diets, medications, or training rules you use. • I keep your home tidy: washing bowls, picking up waste, watering plants if requested, and bringing in mail/packages. • I give updates and photos so you can see your pets are happy and relaxed while you’re away.

About: My first ever job was caring for a family friends’ diabetic cat who required insulin shots twice a day. Since then, people have turned to me to care for their special needs pets for care when they’re away from home. I have experience caring for dogs and cats that require medication, specific diet/exercise requirements, or are overly anxious. I hope to meet your beloved pets soon! I am an aspiring therapist who will be returning to school soon and am able to care for your pet between classes and study breaks. Rest assured that while I’m caring for your pet, they will be getting the same care and attention my pets receive (don’t worry I have a husband who cares for our pets while I’m caring for yours).

About: I’ve been pet sitting for the last 3 years for pet owners going on vacation or simply needing someone to drop in for a feeding or to be let out. I am currently a full time student so I’ll have plenty of time to visit or walk your pets during study breaks and on weekends. I do not offer care in my own home but I am more than willing to do so in a clients home with instructions given.

About: **Please check my schedule to see if we are a good match! Thanks and I look forward to speaking with you!** Hi there! I’m Lexi, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I offer boarding, dog walking, drop-ins, cat care, and house sitting—and I treat every pet like they’re family. I’ve owned and cared for animals my whole life. Cats and dogs as well as other types of animals. My beautiful husky, Nya, had developmental disabilities since birth, and had seizures. She became partially blind and deaf, and wore diapers near the end of her life and required very specific, round the clock care. She taught me patience, compassion, and how to stay calm in tough situations. My cat, Kiki Bobo, just passed away recently, he was 20 years old 😔 So right now caring for other’s pets brings me so much purpose and absolute joy. My mom has run a cat sanctuary for feral and homeless cats for nearly 10 years, so I’ve been around many different types of cats with different temperaments. In my full-time job, I work with children with autism, and other developmental disabilities—it’s my passion. That experience has made me patient, observant, and calm under pressure, which carries over into how I care for animals, too. I’m also CPR certified. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs, from strong, lovable pit bulls, large Great Pyrenees, to tiny (and sometimes feisty!) Chihuahuas. I’ve done many pet and house sitting jobs, caring for a wide range of types of animals and properties — including caring for large vegetable, fruit, and herb gardens! So whether it’s giving meds, watering plants, or keeping a nervous pet company, I’m happy to go the extra mile. I’ve always worked through friends and word of mouth, I used to live in a small northern Ca. Town where everybody knew each other; So I’m new to Rover! I thought it’d be a great way to expand, now that I’m living in the Bay Area again and in my apartment that I just moved into in April. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pets will be safe, loved, and spoiled with attention while you’re away. I love sending photos and plenty of updates while you’re away, and am happy to follow any special instructions at your request. Let me know your pet’s routine, preferences, or quirks—I’m flexible and ready to meet their needs! If you fur baby is comfortable with potty breaks or drop ins every 4-8.5 hours, then I am the perfect fit! Feel free to provide any bedding, toys, medications or any required items that might make your pet’s stay more comfortable or enjoyable. “Brianna is by far one of the best pet sitters we have ever had for any of our dogs. We are so happy to have found her to help care for our older dog Moonpie, a 12 year old 80 pound pitty. When we are out of town or leave for extended periods of time we hire Brianna to come stay with our boy.
