“I recently had the pleasure of having Victoria and her family care for my two English bulldogs, and I cannot express enough how wonderful the experience was! From the moment I reached out, Victoria was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to my dogs' needs. It was clear that she has a genuine love for animals, and her caring demeanor truly put my mind at ease. Throughout the day, Victoria consistently kept me updated with pictures and messages, which reassured me that doggos were having a great time. Victoria's attention to detail and her warm, inviting family environment made all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. Thank you, Victoria, for making our time away stress-free and enjoyable!”

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Gregory. This was my first time using any sitting/boarding service for my 10 month old pup. Not only was he incredibly flexible about booking, he immediately put my mind at ease with his gentle, yet clearly experienced approach. My dog seemed immediately at home with him. He provided daily updates with photos and was very communicative. His love & understanding of dogs is apparent, which any dog parent can appreciate. I highly recommend Gregory and will absolutely be calling on him again when in need of his services!”

“I can't say enough great things about Kadi and her husband! They took amazing care of my dog, Jax, for the day—on a scorching hot day, no less—and made sure he stayed cool, happy, and completely comfortable. They have a fantastic setup, including a pool (an obsession for Jax) and other friendly dogs for Jax to play with, which he absolutely loved. He came home tired, happy, and clearly well cared for. You can tell they truly love dogs and treat them like family. If you're looking for someone who will go above and beyond for your pup, look no further. Jax is already looking forward to his next visit!”

“Leah was great with our boy. Took him for a 1 day daycare and the communication and interaction was great. Our "Pocket" seemed very happy to have a playdate. Will definitely continue to use her.”

“Wendy was good with my high energy girl and let her go swimming several times throughout the day. Her yard is clean and dog friendly so no worries about being stuck inside all day. Best sign: Suki wasn't eager to leave when I came for pick up. As well, I ran later than expected and Wendy was very chill about the pick up time.”

About: I used to work at two different vet clinics, as well as I've done basic dog training. Most of my training involves special cat handling, and administering medications. I have also always had pets, my entire life, cats and dogs Bunny's, chickens, goats, ducks fish birds you name it. I've had it. I've been around the block with almost every sickness you can think of when it comes to animals including cat cancer. I am well equipped handle the medical needs of animals. I am pretty much always home so I can almost always at least have One pet at a time unless it's two pets from the same owner In my home the cats have their own fairly large play crate, they have free roam as well . the dogs they have free roam are allowed on the couch unless the owner doesn't like that, in which case I will make sure they are not allowed on the couch. They can go into our back porch area and they can go into the front yard or the side yard. There's potty bags for me to pick up their poop and everything and if any of them have medical needs. I have been trained and know how to handle most medical needs

“Phil‘s family was absolutely amazing babysitting my dog Gracie. Gracie immediately became part of the family. It was such a relief to know my dog has a great place for daycare. She comes home happy and ready for a nap!”

“Diana is an excellent sitter. She made the extra effort to meet me at my car to greet and pick up Piper. She sent video and photos during Pipers stay which gave me piece of mind. I have now scheduled Piper for his Rover Sitter one day each week knowing he will be well taken care of. Thank you, Diana”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Epic Doggie Adventure with Tammie – A Five-Star Tale of Tail-Wagging Joy In a world where trustworthy dog sitters are as rare as a unicorn at a dog park, one woman stands above the rest. Her name… is Tammie. Her mission… to turn ordinary dog-sitting into extraordinary canine adventures. And lucky for us, my sweet Sugar got to be the star. Sugar—my spunky, snow-white cockapoo with the heart of a lioness—was welcomed into Tammie’s home like royalty. Not only did she find a second family, she found a whole pack. Tammie's four dogs became her instant crew. The kind of squad you’d want backing you up on a Pixar-style rescue mission. But this isn’t just about tail wags and playtime. It’s about love. Tammie didn’t just watch Sugar—she cared for her. She cleaned Sugar’s eyes gently with a warm cloth while petting her. She let her hang out with her sweet kids. She gave me a full “report card” so detailed, it felt like a scene straight out of a Wes Anderson film: 6 pees. 1 poop. 8 water breaks. That’s dedication. That’s data. That’s love. Tammie gets what it means to be a dog parent. She lives it—traveling with her own four pups, creating a home that feels more like a dog-friendly dreamscape than just another house. She’s not just a sitter. She’s a director of happiness, orchestrating a beautiful symphony of barks, belly rubs, and tail wags. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, craft their stay into a heartwarming mini-movie, and send them home with a sparkle in their eyes… look no further. Sugar can’t wait for the sequel. 🐾”

“I’ve taken my dog, Crowe, to Micheal three times now (we’re set up on weekly visits). Michael is a very kind, gentle person and great with Crowe. He even took him for a walk today, which I really appreciated! I also got some really cute photos and videos. Crowe is always happy to go there and I feel comfortable that he’s going to be well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Michael for your fur baby.”

About: Updated: 8/11/2025 - I home sit (for overnights) at my home in Citrus Heights on almost an acre for clients who need dog sitting up to 2 dogs or 1 dog and 1 in house cat (spayed or neutered). I only sit one client at a time with one or two pets so I can give them full attention as I am retired.. Cats will be in outdoor cat condo under carport at this time. I don’t book out farther than 60 days. Additionally, I do drop-in's from 9 am to 5 pm daily. NOTE: I home care dogs in Citrus Heights (near Antelope & Sunrise). I've owned a couple of pure breed German Shepherds and a few rescue German Shepherds, a Golden Retriever, and a medium mix dog. I've taken some doggie training classes. My 11-year-old well behaved male German Shepherd lives at my 2nd home in Rocklin with my husband. There are two other adults who live with me (dog lovers). Non-smoking house. Dog provided filtered water. Let me know your dog's preferences for playtime... Frisbee, ball toss, tug toys, etc. for overnights (please provide the food). Look forward to meeting your sweet dogs. I do walk about around my large backyard on leash if you prefer your dog to keep up with walking training. It's a bit like a track in the backyard. Cats will be indoor (with litter box access). I'll send you a daily photo by text if you like. I can’t accept Pit Bulls, Doberman Pinchers, or Rottweilers for insurance reasons. I'm retired and looking forward to have dog guests. If you vacation during the summer months this will work well for you. In the house is ok too. I have a fenced yard that can be divided and fenced for smaller dogs too. It's a big property and dogs can be contained in smaller areas if you prefer. See pictures.

“Thanks Julia for taking care of Emily. We loved getting the update on her progress and especially loved all the photos showing her playing with new doggy friends, exploring your beautiful garden, frolicking in the splash pad and posing with the bunny ears.”

“Ariana is very friendly and takes great care of my dog. I can tell that she is a "dog" person and that she knows what she is doing and really cares. It is a bonus that she does not over-charge for her services and offers the convenient pick up and drop off services. She takes several pictures and keeps me updated, which I appreciate.”

About: Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover originally from Sweden. I adopted my first rescue dog in 1989 and have been fostering, rescuing, and caring for dogs and cats ever since. After moving to Citrus Heights 8 years ago, I decided to turn my passion into a profession. My home is filled with love, patience, and a deep understanding of animals—because to me, they’re family. As my mama always said, “If someone isn’t kind to animals, they’re not a kind person.” I am retired and I am pretty much a homebody because I have my own rescue dogs. I have a fully fenced backyard with a pool and a grass area for them to play. The dogs will have full roam of the house and supervised outdoor playtime. They will of course get lots of love and cuddles and will be allowed on the furniture.

Birgitta B.
“About my friend Birgitta whom I have known for over 20 years. I have never seen anyone who have shown such love for animals. She is the person who introduced me to rescue, before I was never that interested in having my own dog. Now because of her I have 3 small dogs that is all my babies and my loves. She is the the true dog whisperer and will do anything to help an animal. Last year when I lost my job and then my home she didn't hesitate to invite me and my dogs to come and stay with her until I got back on my feet again. Without her help I would have to give up my babies. At neighborhood BBQ's she always invited her guest's to bring there dogs as well. You Will for sure know tjat your dog have the best care and will be safe. Anyone who will use her as a dog sitter will not regret it, the dogs might not want to go home after there day LOL”

Mei A.
“Mei has an instinctive ability to provide exceptional care towards those in her care. On more than one account, I have witnessed her go above and beyond adequate supervising. She able to make quick decisions in only a moments time. She treats all beings in her care as her own. Her attentive skills have prevented accidents that were at no fault the animals but were prevented nonetheless. As my husband I approach having dogs join our family, Mei was the first person I thought of to care for our new members when needs.”
