About: Growing up I had dogs, but as an adult it hasn’t been an option so I’ve spent time with friends, family, and even my bosses dog just to get some puppy time. And my hope is Rover will help me meet new animals while helping out their owners since my cats aren’t to friendly with dogs. As a remote worker, I have the flexibility to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I’m already out and about for daily walks and thought, why not make those walks more fun with a furry companion? It’s the perfect way to combine work-life balance with my love for animals. I’m not offering boarding services at this time because my two cats rule the roost—and I respect their need for space, just as I’d respect your pets’ unique needs. In your home, I’ll create a safe, comfortable environment, ensuring every paw feels at ease while you’re away.

“This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous, but Sarah was great. She took great care of Oliver, sent pictures and I felt very comfortable that he was in good hands the whole time we were gone. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Pamela is great, very accommodating & flexible. Kept me updated with Ruby during the period she was looking after her & Ruby was happy when I returned. Would definitely recommend”

About: Lifelong animal lover providing trusted, loving care. Experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and those battling cancer, I bring patience, consistency, and genuine connection that sets me apart. Since I work from home Thursday–Monday, I have plenty of time for walks, play, and cuddles, making pet care a natural part of my day. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a safe, loving environment, closely follow routines, and build trust through consistent, attentive care and gentle attention.

“Jillian was great! She was punctual and followed instructions given to her. She handled my dog who can be a lot at times and seemed to do it with ease. Will definitely be rebooking with her!”

“Stephanie provides frequent updates while dog sitting. She sends pictures and sweet messages. Our dogs love spending time with her because she takes such great care to ensure they get long walks and plenty of snuggles!”

“Daniela was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to give us peace of mind when we needed it most. She took great care of our dogs, and our home. With daily touch points, and pictures, there was very little to worry about. Would highly recommend her services to others for all of their pet needs.”

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, I offer personalized, dependable care tailored to your pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s high-energy puppy training, gentle senior support, or simply providing companionship and playtime, I treat every dog like family. I’m attentive, patient, and passionate about creating a safe, loving environment—so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I am currently working part time usually in the mornings so I am available in the evenings and most weekends to take care of any of your pets needs. I also play beach and grass volleyball so if you’re looking for your dog to have some social time they are more than welcome to come with me to volleyball (the players love when people bring their animals)! I follow any and all instructions left by the owner in their own home making sure the dog is not left unsupervised and feels attended to.

“Yosmar saved our vacation on super short notice. She took care of our dog who was getting over a little illness with kindness and caring. She communicated and sent us pics every day and made us feel very secure and relieved that he was in good hands. Will absolutely book her again in the future instead of formal boarding. Thank you Yosmar!”

About: I have experience taking care of bigger and smaller dog breeds. Walking them is no issue, I can handle with confidence 2 or less at a time, and make a point to clean up after them. I have a degree in Computer Science & Game Development, and try to work from home. This means my availability is pretty good; roughly 3 to 4 full days a week I can work around. I have found that certain brands of dog food are vastly superior to others, and that many owners overfeed their pets, so I try to stay aware of that with the pets I take care of. I have also had to clean up after animals many times in the past, and have as such, learned to not take it personally, and gotten pretty good at it. Also when it comes to keeping dogs active, I try to walk them regularly; run with them if I can, and play Fetch or tug of war with them if they're still energetic whilst under my care.

“Couldn’t be more grateful for Christian’s outstanding professionalism and eagerness to take the best care of my puppies. I definitely spoil my puppies and i’m also very strict about food, water, play time and walks. Christian had no problem with my ways and made me feel very secure about him with my puppies.”

About: I've always felt more comfortable with animals rather than people. I've worked with horses off and on for years. I like dogs more than most people. I feel comfortable around dogs that many people are afraid of. I take a cautious approach to dogs and let them get comfortable with me before petting them. I enjoy letting cats be themselves and slowly come out of their shell. I'd like to think I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm eager to help you with your pets. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 3pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.

About: I’ve always been a big animal person! Pet and house sitting has been my primary job for years now, and I frequently stay overnight at people’s houses to take care of higher maintenance animals. I have administered medication including various pills and insulin shots, and I have participated in a volunteer shelter program, where I was taught how to train dogs and socialize cats. I also have my veterinarian aunt on speed dial for any issues with older animals! I am currently a junior at UCF and don’t have time for much outside of classes and schoolwork. This does make my schedule fairly flexible for petsitting though, and I can easily stop by in between classes. I can stop by as many times as needed to feed or let out pets, and I can stay over in between my classes (or overnight) for pets that need more attention /company. Anything you need, just ask!

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember—dogs, guinea pigs, and rabbits were always part of my family. With over 8 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for pets of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to calm senior dogs. I understand the unique needs of each pet and am passionate about providing them with the love, attention, and care they deserve. Whether it’s a playful walk, a comforting drop-in visit, or simply ensuring their routines are followed, I treat every pet like family. Your pets will be in safe, reliable hands! I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’m available a lot right now! With a super flexible schedule and plenty of free time during the week, I’m able to give your pets all the attention they need—whether it’s for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or just some extra company. I’m committed to providing dependable, loving care that fits right into your pet’s routine. I specialize in dog walking and drop-in visits, ensuring your pets get the exercise and attention they need while you’re away. While I primarily focus on walks and check-ins, I’m also more than capable of providing great care in your home when needed. I always respect your space, treating it with the same care I give to your pets. Whether it’s following specific routines, administering basic care, or just giving your dog some extra love and attention, I’ll make sure they’re happy and well-cared for!

About: I have spent many years volunteering at a wolf rescue. 12 years spent locally fostering and foster fails which we have adopted into our home. All breeds I have experience with and even fish and small animals. I have to add this notice so new customers understand something. I am alerted to, and respond to, and answer all questions and requests in about a minute 24/7. When you have a question I answer it quickly. So please hold off on your questions after 9:00 pm and before 7:00 am, I need my beauty rest. I am up early each day, (by 7:00 am) to take care of your questions and requests. Drop off and pick up hours are 7:00 am to 8 pm for drop off, and to 9 pm for pickup. Rover may be contacted 24/7 (888) 453,7889. Also dogs must be crate trained, and dog friendly, they are crated at night and during drop off and pick ups, or meet and greets, for any other guests to prevent escapes or any possible bad interactions. Because I am looking for you at your appointed time, I can no longer accept appointments that span an hour or two, or even 30 minutes (Your doctor or dentist doesn't accept that either.) I can't do any thing else if I am looking for you, and if I get several drop off and pick ups a day each wanting hours I spend most of my day staring at the driveway. Therefore specify the "SPECIFIC" time that you know you can be here, not a range of time, of when you might feel like getting here. You can always text with a request for a time change, just please do it ahead of time, instead of when you're already late and my time has been wasted, and the other guests have been unnecessarily crated, while waiting for your arrival. If you specify a time range for either drop off or pick up I will assume that you would like me to choose what works best for me and I will specify a specific time for you. I have found the least amount of confusion and barking for the dogs that may already be here, and easiest drop off and pick up for the client is to meet you in the driveway. Text me with your ETA and I will be looking for you and I will come out to get your dog from you in the driveway, and bring them back out to you in the driveway. Knocking on the door results in overexcited and barking dogs and I don't bring dogs thru the front door anyway. Dogs are brought out to the back yard to settle down and have potty time before going inside to meet any others that may be here, one at a time. I keep my dogs free of fleas and ticks with monthly flea prevention. I expect dogs coming here are clean and free of fleas. When you bring a dog with fleas it could infect my entire house and I have to flea bathe your dog and spray my entire house to be sure other clients don't get fleas. This is time consuming and expensive, so be sure your dogs don't bring fleas here. I also expect your dog to be clean, odor free and free of ticks, accepting a stay here means you accept the fact that you will be billed for a bath that is needed, if they arrive here in need of one. You dog will be on my furniture and living in my house and I will not have dirty smelly dogs doing that. I also expect the dog to have a proper fitting collar in which I can place a temporary ID tag with my information. They should also have a leash so I can bring them back out to you, at pickup time. I accept meet and greet requests but do not require them. Your itinerary will show my address and contact information after we have set up a stay or meet and greet. Please specify date and time you request so I can approve it. That's the best way to meet me and check out my place, as the site will send us both each other's information by viewing the itinerary. You will receive my address and phone number that way, and I will be given your phone number. You can see my location by looking for "Bruce's Neighborhood" on my profile page. I am very close to the Oviedo High School, and Lawton elementary schools. When making any request for either Daycare or Boarding include in the comments, what your needed drop off, and pick up times will be. I need to be prepared for your arrival and need it for calendar scheduling, and proper price quoting. If your stay is more than, even 24 hour days, like an early drop off one day and a late pick-up the next day, let me know what you need and request an adjusted price. My boarding rates are based on a 24 hour day not 36 hours. I will be happy to watch your dog for 36 hours or whatever you need but you will receive an additional charge for the additional time. I tried watching puppies but have come to realize that because they demand so much attention, that it takes away from the time I need to spend with the other guests, therefore in fairness to all the dogs that I board, I have sadly have come to the decision that it is not fair to my other guests, to spend all my time with one puppy, and therefore must decline accepting any more puppies. I need to spend time with all guests not just one demanding puppy. Compare what I offer to the others. Retired and home full time, not gone to work like most people. Huge backyard with a safe and secure vinyl privacy fence, (check out the pictures). (Dogs have plenty of room to run and play, and stay on my property, I don't take dogs out on a leash and take a chance of escape or being attacked, safety is my first priority.) A large home not an apartment. Fifty plus years working with and training dogs. Who else offers all this, and I am still very competitively priced. Dogs are normally allowed to run free in the house and share the furniture with me, but are crated at night when I sleep and unable to watch them, to prevent any problems and to keep them safe. They are let out early each morning and allowed to roam the house and use the doggy door again. I have been working with dogs for over fifty years and presently do volunteer training at a local dog rescue. I am very familiar of how to care for your dog, and know your dog will be happy in my home and large fenced back yard. I have two small friendly dogs for them to play with, if they like that. I am retired and home almost always, my wife may watch the dogs if I have to step out for a short time. To make sure you dog is safe while under my care, they will be provided a clean bed and crate for night time when everyone should be asleep, just to be sure there is nothing happening that would be unsafe for them. I don't know any better way to insure their safety if I am asleep and not able to be watching them, be suspicious of anyone that claims to never crate your dog. When I wake up early, they are free to go outside or enjoy the house and furniture. You can leave your dogs here with complete confidence that a very experienced handler, and dog lover will be looking after them. Drop off and Pick up times flexible. If you're looking for the best place for your dog, and the best deal going, you just found it. Keep in mind a day is 24 hours. An early drop off on one day, and late pickup the following day is not a day and will have an upcharge. For that reason and for scheduling, please state your drop off and pick up times when requesting your boarding days. At the same time, a drop off and pick up that spans 2 days but is only 24 hours is only charged as one day, not two, like at some boarding places. One final note: I do not accept recurring bookings. I will refuse any such requests. Each booking must have a starting and ending date and time. I will allow you to make multiple bookings even months in advance to accomplish the same thing, but I need to be sure I am available for each booking, before I can accept it. A single booking can be multiple days or even weeks long, but it has to have a starting and ending date and time. I just can't promise availability on a forever basis. ******************* OPTIONAL READING ********************** What to look for in a new pet care giver.Find someone that sends pictures to you multiple times a day, and to 100% of the clients, like I do. I know of no other place that can make all these claims, and still be very reasonably priced. I am up by 5am to take your calls and receive your pet for boarding or daycare. I receive dogs until 8pm and allow pickup until 9pm. I expect a text with your ETA before arrival, so I can meet you out front or in the driveway to take care of your pet needs. I have a fenced yard and only will do long walks at owner request as off leash dogs can act anyway. I have a huge well cared for backyard and a doggy door so dogs have plenty of time and space to get all the exercise they need. Dogs are normally free roaming during the daytime when I can watch them, but crated at night when sleeping for their safety. Pet care is a priority for myself and with my dogs and other small animals, I wake early to walk them and feed them because animals should be cared for as well as we care for ourselves and children. I care for all pets as if they are my own. Whatever needs your animal has, it would be my pleasure to make sure that they keep their routines and stay as familiar with the day as possible while being cared for by myself. What is Required__ Flea & Tick: All dogs must be on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure you treat your pet now and continue monthly applications throughout the rest of the year. We have the right to refuse any dog that has a flea/tick infestation. Vaccinations: For the safety of your dog, it is vital that he/she be current on all vaccines. Having your pet vaccinated is the best and least costly way of preventing disease. Without proper vaccination, he/she will be left unprotected. Please bring a copy of latest vaccination records, either on the day of the meet and greet or the day you drop off. We will make a copy to keep for our records. Dog Profile: Make sure to fill out your dog's "Profile" on Rover so that we can have a better understanding of him/her. Give detailed feeding instructions. Provide emergency contacts and vet information, especially if you will not have phone service while on vacation. What to bring: Food, food bowl, collar, and vaccine record. Dog's regular food, enough food for the entire stay, and a little extra in case you have a flight delay, etc. Please do not switch his/her food a few days before coming to our home because changing the food abruptly can cause diarrhea in some dogs. Bring food bowl, we have plenty of water bowls. We have extras but prefer you to bring his/her regular food bowl. Dog collar with name & rabies tags is required __Things to Keep in Mind__ Meet & Greet: We always offer a free Meet & Greet to new potential clients. It gives everyone a chance to get to know each other and to see where your pup will be staying. It allows me to connect with your dog and make sure he/she has a successful stay with us. For those visiting out of town, we can communicate by phone and determine if this is the right place for your pup. Also, there are times when you have an emergency and are unable to do a meet and greet. We will try to do our best to accommodate if this happens. Spay/Neutered: It is highly recommended that all dogs be spayed and neutered due to the nature of the care we provide. We can not accept females during their heat cycle. Males that are intact and mark everywhere in our home or show possessive tendencies towards a particular dog will not be allowed back. Just to clarify-some male dogs may start sniffing around and might pee the first time they enter my home. In most cases, it only happens once and it is not a problem throughout the rest of the stay. Some females can also pee mostly from excitement this is also understandable. Most dogs that are neutered at a young age will rarely exhibit any marking or humping behavior. Pups do have accidents and that is not a problem. I always have bleach, urine remover, water and paper towels handy to clean up in such instances. Senior Dogs: We are happy to provide care for older dogs or those with special medical or health needs.
