About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was a teenager, starting with friends’ and family members’ animals when they needed a hand. I’ve always had pets of my own—dogs, cats, a guinea pig, hamster, and fish—so animals have always been a big part of my life. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I really take the time to get to know each one and what makes them feel safe and happy. Whether it’s a long walk, a quiet cuddle, or just being nearby while they nap, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I also have experience giving oral medication to both cats and dogs and understand how important it is to be calm and gentle with animals who need a little extra care. My full-time job is Monday through Friday, I only work about four hours in office on a flexible schedule, so available to check on your pet mornings, afternoons, and evenings. My weekends are fully open. More than anything, I know that pets are family. When you trust me to care for yours, I take that seriously—and I’ll always do my best to make sure they feel loved and comfortable while you’re away.

“Brenda is a GEM! She is so professional and caring and lovely. Charlie is in the best hands with her - whether it’s fixing a litter robot that has gone haywire or trimming nails that don’t want to be trimmed, she is so professional, communicative, detailed, and fun! Thank you for making it easier to be away!”

“Abigail was a wonderful sitter for my cat. My cat tends to get litter and her food all over the place -but I came back to a clean apartment and happy cat. Abigail was great at accepting my cat for her faulty personality, communicating and being flexible as well!”

About: Pet owner who has taken on difficult rescues and has been a safe haven for a menagerie. Only positive reinforcement training methods for us! I have turned a shy pitty rescue into an outgoing and fun-loving companion. I live in a home in the central district of Seattle with my adult daughter and husband. I have the summer off and have the flexibility to to care for your pup. When I do work, it's from home so I have lots of time to devote to the pups. Days will include sunbathing, walks around the neighborhood, down to the lake, and car trips! I have a fenced yard and live in a very walkable neighborhood. I often take my dog, Prudence, down to lake Washington on our walks. We have two cats that have grown up around dogs and like non-cat aggressive dogs. (Plus they have a Catio to relax in). I generally avoid dog parks since they can be unpredictable and I've had pit mixes and they tend to get blamed for incidents. Instead, I take my pup on lots of walks and we have an adventure SUV that I can haul them around in. I'm a fan of the private Sniffspots too.

About: I’ve been taking care of family and friends animals for about 2 years now. I love all kinds of animals and making sure they are happy and healthy under my care. I currently work part-time and do school online so I have a lot of time to myself and I’m available all days of the week any time before 5 on days I do work :) I have a good sized back yard, a lot of walking trails near my house and a very sweet cattle dog named Annie who loves to meet new friends. I am very respectful of personal space and careful with instruction on how YOU would like your pet cared for!

“Sarah took great care of our cats! She made sure that their needs were taken care of and played with them for enrichment. Both cats liked her, even our standoffish cat warmed up and relaxed around her, which I think is a great sign. We also enjoyed the updates and photos she sent. We’d happily book with Sarah again!”

Central District pet parents share their Rover experiences
Took care of my cats for two weeks while i was away. Have nothing but positive things to say about the experience! Did everything i needed of her and went above and beyond by cleaning my litter pans and giving attention to the cats. Highly recommend if you want someone dependable!

Claire took care of my two cats for ten days and was an incredible sitter! She was able to give my very finicky cats oral meds every day. My other cat who usually never comes out for sitters really liked Claire and came out to hang! One of my cats escaped outside as she was leaving and she managed to get him back inside. I felt very comfortable and grateful that my babies were in her care. I highly recommend Claire and hope to use her services again in the future!

Juliette took the best care of Matisse, and I know he looked forward to seeing her every day! I returned home to a happy boy, who I never had to worry about because Juliette gave great updates and took lots of photos each visit. I’m definitely booking her again when I’m out of town.

Tunan stepped in to care for my elderly seizure dog during a crunch time at work. From the minute we met during a meet-and-greet I had a good feeling about her. On her drop-in visits, she was on time, followed instructions, sent lots of photos. Most kindly, she seemed to actually enjoy my pup and that is always so nice. I will turn to her first if I need someone again. Highly recommended!

It was my last minute drop in visit and Viktoriia helped me with this. She is very friendly, responsible and really likes animals. She was always online and I wasn’t worried, when I left my cat with her. Definitely will book her service again! Highly recommended Viktoriia, if you want to get the best care for your pet!

I had a wonderful experience with Josh while he cared for my cat, Hunter. Hey was extremely attentive and followed all of my directions perfectly, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Not only did he make sure Hunter’s needs were met, but he also spent quality time playing with him and keeping him engaged. I could tell Hunter felt happy and loved while I was away—he wasn’t sad or stressed at all when I returned. It’s clear that Josh genuinely cares for animals, and I would absolutely recommend Josh to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter ❤️
