About: I worked at a pet boarding facility in Texas throughout high school, where I gained experience caring for pets and administering medications when needed. Alongside that, I started my own pet sitting business, which I continued through college. Now that I’ve relocated to North Carolina, I thought I’d give Rover a try! During the summer, I have open availability, and during the school year, I’m available outside of my class times. I also work remotely, so I can work from anywhere, making it easy to fit pet care into my daily schedule. I only offer pet care in my client’s home to help keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. About: Hi! My name is Merrily, and I am a student at UNC! I have been an animal lover my whole life, growing up with two dogs and a cat! My dogs were a sweet boxer and a lively pug, so I have experience with both big and small dogs! I especially loved to take my boxer on long walks and runs, and cuddled and played with my pug. From taking care of my dogs throughout teenage hood, I gained valuable experience with senior care, administering oral and topical medication daily, dental care, bathes, and basic grooming. I also have dog and cat sat for family friends and neighbors numerous times, with duties ranging from senior care with a lab dog, to taking care (and easing) an anxious corgi. My favorite aspect of pet-setting is of course snuggles! I want to provide affection and comfort just as pets provide me with affection and comfort! I also thoroughly enjoy playtime and walks!🩷🐾 I am a full-time college student at UNC with much free time over summer break! I live in the heart of Chapel Hill and have a car, allowing for flexible and punctual care. I make sure to not only keep up with pets but with the client's home too. About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.
About: I come from a farm where I have cared for over 50 different animals with my families. We have cared for elderly dogs, dogs with serious health complications and dogs of high energy levels.
