“Ben was great, we were so comfortable with him on our first visit that we are planning to book him again. He stayed at our house for the week and he took care of it like it was his own. Our old dog liked him from our meet and greet. Ben was amazing with J.J. Each day he sent pictures and a note of how things were going. I think J.J. is still missing him. Thanks Ben”

“Gina was wonderful with our small dog, Willow. She left our place immaculate. Her communication and updates were great. I am so happy to have found someone we can trust with our baby.”

She updated us often and went above and beyond to keep our puppy happy and comfortable. Very thankful to have found Yan. Also, our house was SO clean when we got home. We did not expect that at all. Such a treat! We will for sure use her again. Millie loves her. Highly recommend !”

“This was our first time using rovers’s house sitting services and Deborah as well. We couldn’t say enough positive about Deborah. She was intuitive and loving with our dogs. We would highly recommend her as a house sitter and dog sitter. Her experience and demeanor put us at ease from the moment we met her. She was cooperative and even went out of her way to set us up for success before we left. It was so great for our dogs to be in their own home. She is definitely a committed person. She had personal responsibilities concurrent with our leave but she managed it all. 5 stars for Deborah from us!!”

“Trinity was great with our pet Millie. She was always quick to respond to any messages, and kept us informed of any issues with the house while we were away as well. Thanks trinity!”

“Sara was an amazing person to deal with. She was very accommodating when dates changed to make sure our pupper was taken care of. We would highly recommend her for taking care of your fur babies.”

“Rachel provided incredible care for my two high energy Australian shepherds! When I purchase a product or service these days I am rarely wow’s but I can honestly say Rachel wow’d me with her service. Thank you so much for looking after Mylo and Zee, I will definitely be requesting to book you again in the future!”

“We will 100% be using Morgan and her son Bowen again! They stayed at our home for several days and took amazing care of our two very spoiled cats. Morgan is so sweet, calm, and clearly has a natural way with animals — our cats took to her and Bowen right away, even the shy one only took a day to come out of hiding. Bowen is the cutest little helper and brings such a happy energy. Morgan sent regular updates which totally put us at ease while we were away. So grateful to have found them!”

About: Growing up in a dog, loving household, I learned to care for dogs early in my life. Dogs tend to gravitate towards me and I like to get to know them and their personalities. While I realize that not every dog loves to snuggle, I’m definitely here for it if they do! I really enjoy watching bonds established and grow over time, almost like watching a friendship grow. I am kind, caring, compassionate, and cautious and always treat dogs like a member of the family, even the grumpy ones :) 100% available for a meet and greet prior to booking. My most recent professional role was Chief Commercial Officer at a large Canadian retailer. I am visiting family in Cochrane for the next 2 months and have a flexible schedule, I should be able to accommodate most requests, let me know what you need! I am here to walk dogs, play with them, help reinforce training, feed them and hang out with them. I do not offer grooming or bathing.

“Thank you so much to Lyndsie and Dierk! I received regular updates of their time together. He was regularly walked and well cared for. My place was left clean and tidy and could tell my pup was happy! Highly recommend!!”

“Jen was awesome with my boys! They absolutely adored her. Being away from your pets over the holidays is hard… but Jen made sure I knew I didn’t have to worry about them… or our home. She spoiled them with chicken broth on their kibble😜 and had them for long walks everyday. When we returned home the house was super clean, linens done and driveway shoveled!! Above and beyond! Highly recommend!”

About: At a glance: 🦴 I can serve the Cochrane area 🦴 I work full-time, 8½ hrs 5 days a week, I will dislose my exact schedule for the upcoming weeks if you're interested 🦴 I can visit before or after work, so advanced notice it best 🦴 I can visit on my couple days off Hi! I'm MakiahFaith—thank you so much for stopping by my page! I'm genuinely passionate about pets, and I’ve been working with them in various roles since 2021, starting at age 15. Let me tell you a bit about my journey! I’ve always loved animals—growing up with cats and a small dog, I knew early on I wanted to work with pets. My first gig was walking a large senior dog in my neighborhood, and from there, things took off! That same year, I completed a 4-day “Intro to Veterinary Medicine for Teens” course at Olds College, which really challenged me and pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way. In 2022, I volunteered at a local veterinary clinic, and soon after began regularly cat-sitting for a client who found me through Facebook. I still check on her cats when she's away—building that trust means so much to me. By 2023, I was accepted into the Veterinary Technical Assistant (VTA) dual-credit program at Olds College, where I graduated with honors. Although I initially planned to work in vet clinics, I eventually found my calling in pet retail and grooming. Today, I work full-time at a pet supply and service store. Previously in roles such as a dog bather, pet care specialist, and recently, a process lead (yep, I even open and close the store!). I’ve worked with birds, small animals, reptiles, fish, and bugs—and I’m trained in dog bathing tasks like nail trims, paw pad shaves, and more. I’m working toward becoming a mobile dog groomer and building a flexible, pet-centered lifestyle—and I’d love to care for your pets along the way! Whether they need a walk, a drop-in, or just some love while you’re away, you can count on me to treat them like family. 🐾 Right now, I’m offering short to hour-long drop-in visits, dog walks, or light grooming appointments (bath, dry, nail trim, foot trim—depending on what tools you have at home!) in the Cochrane area. Since I work full-time, my availability is mostly: Before or after work shifts On my two regular days off per week (which vary slightly) This is my first time using Rover, so I’m starting small and local. I’m saving up for grooming school, which will eventually help me offer more flexible services—and one day, run my own mobile grooming business! I’ll be keeping my calendar up to date and doing my best to respond quickly to any messages. If you’re looking for long-term drop-ins, I’d love to help—just keep in mind they’d be once daily so I can balance everything and still give your pet the attention they deserve. 🐾 I’ve discovered that I thrive when I’m working for myself, staying true to my values, and putting my energy into something meaningful—like caring for pets. I want you to know your pet is in good hands. I’m not here to force affection or push your pet past their comfort zone. While bonding is always a bonus, my goal is to be a loyal, consistent sitter who shows up with care and respect for your animal’s boundaries. I take pride in thorough, quality work. I will only accept and complete a service if I feel it is safe and appropriate to do so—your pet’s well-being always comes first. I’m here to give you peace of mind, not make unrealistic promises. Recently I've turned 19, and since graduating high school, I’ve grown through both opportunities and challenges in my work. These experiences have shaped me into someone dedicated, loyal, and persistent. My priority is always doing what’s right for your pet and supporting your family however I can. 🐾

About: I've lived in households with pets for most of my life, and have also worked in shelters for both dogs and cats. I am confident I am the kind of person you're looking for. I just finished my first degree and am preparing to take the law school entrance exam; whenever your pets need care, I will be there. I have a yard and also pay attention whenever pets are around; if I'm over to help you, I will do any sort of thing you need, and if your pets are over here, I will guarantee they will always have water and will be let out whenever necessary.

Gina had her hands full taking care of our 3 dogs while we were out of town visiting family and friends and she took such great care of everything! We are so grateful to her and will be booking her again in the future. Thank you SO much, Gina! We appreciate you!

Kiara is excellent. She was wonderful with all of our animals. Our cat is normally elusive with new people, he cuddled up to Kiara right away. Our Great Dane is a huge dog and a big baby - she connected with him and took great care of him. Our cattle-terrier pitbull cross is emotional and she was very attentive to his separation anxiety after we left. She took the dogs on a drive the first night which they loved. She played with all of the animals. We came home to animals excited to see us but not anxious or upset. That is the ultimate sign of great care with our animals. Kiara sent pictures throughout the stay. Her pictures were excellent - really great additions to the stories of each of our pets. We look forward to booking Kiara again!!!

Rachael was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs. One is older and needs a bit of extra TLC, and the other is often still in puppy mode. She was great with communication and left our house probably cleaner than it was when we got there! She stayed for 3 weeks at our house. Would definitely recommend, and would love to have Rachael take care of our pups again!

You won’t be sorry if you hire Ian to pet sit for you. We had a meet and greet first with him and knew then that our dogs would be in loving hands and well taken care of. We were away for 3 1/2 weeks and Ian stayed with our little rescue girls in our home. One of the girls has lots of trust issues and it wasn’t long before Ian had made friends with her. While we were away, we got pictures and stories all the time and she had her head resting on his lap in some of them. That doesn’t happen with anyone but us. Ian has a special way with the dogs. He is very knowledgeable about dealing with dogs that have been traumatized and is sensitive to that. He is very particular about following the instructions that you give him. He leaves the house clean and the dogs happy and contented. I highly recommend him.

Jasmijn was absolutely 💯 amazing! She house/dog sat for us for nearly a week while we were on vacation. It was very last minute as our previous sitter had cancelled on short notice. Our dog has a condition that requires medication several times a day, so we were needing a sitter who could meet a challenging schedule and provide the required level of care. Jasmijn came to the rescue and was incredible, not only with our pup but also took great care of our home while we were gone. We will continue to work with Jasmijn in the future!

Cindy was absolutely amazing. She immediately connected with Cowboy on arrival. Her attention to details and willingness to follow his routine was reassuring and made leaving him for the first time easier than expected. We received daily updates, which included both text; videos and pictures which put our minds at ease, knowing he was in good hands. Would recommend 100%

Jen was very helpful and thoughtful throughout the whole process, especially for first time users of this service. She put us at ease knowing that we were new and communicated with us before, during (with pictures) and after. Jen sincerely was trying to make sure it a good experience for our dog as well.

It was such a relief leaving our puppies with Tammy. Our rescue has never been left with a stranger before so we were worried but Pepper loved Tammy and that made things so much easier. Plus she clearly loves animals so it was a huge weight of our minds knowing our girls were in caring responsible hands.
