“Kaela and the whole Rover experience were outstanding. We used Kaela and Rover to house and dog sit from Oct 18th - 25th, 2018. When we were planning a trip with our extended family we were not sure what to do with our furry babies. Typically the grandmas watch them when we are away but the grandmas were going on this trip. We have used a nice kennel in the past but it can be very expensive for 2 dogs and our rescue does not do well in social settings. We were not sure about letting a stranger into our house but things could not have gone any better. Kaela has a lot of experience with dogs and she had no problem gaining the confidence of our rescue dog. Both of our dogs were eating out of the palm of her hand by the end of the first night. Every evening we looked forward to an update from Kaela including beautiful pictures from her day with the dogs. Seeing how happy the dogs were in the photos put our minds at ease. Kaela captured some amazing photos of our dogs. Without a doubt we would definitely use Rover and Kaela again to house/dog sit. Kaela was very clean and left our home exactly how it was when she arrived. I believe that letting our dogs stay in their own home where they are most comfortable was the best solution for them. About: I’ve always loved dogs and have previously owned dogs as well as fostered dogs. Fostering taught me how different every dog can be and how important it is to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to their individual needs and personalities. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime, cuddles, and maintaining their usual routine. I enjoy spending time with dogs whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer to curl up and relax. I’m also comfortable giving extra patience and reassurance to dogs who are shy, anxious, or still getting used to a new environment. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages along the way. I work during the day but available after 4pm and weekends. I also work from home most days so if you’re close can accommodate lunchtime walks during the week. I enjoy spending time with pets and can provide walks, playtime, companionship, and care. I provide care in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. “Bruce and frisky were in good hands with Myranda! We had just moved from Ontario to Calgary and we were so happy to find her. I would definitely request her services in the future if she’ll have us! We got pictures and updates daily. Bruce has some issues at meal time and Myranda was patient and understanding with him. She respected and cared enough to ask if it would be ok to take Bruce around other dogs. Bruce is a big dog and he was very thankful for being walked about three times a day! Frisky is an indoor cat and looked like she got lots of love and brushing too! Maybe I shouldn’t be so honest because she might get too busy and won’t be available when I need her!”

Emma looked after my three cats and my house for the last week while I was out of town. She quickly got to know each of the cats’ personalities and provided me with updates and photos every day.
