I would recommend using Gabriella. This was the first time I used Gabriella to sit with my dog while away. My chihuahua is very timid and Gabriella won her over. I came home to a happy dog!

About: [To my regular clients. I have moved a tiny bit east of Cranston from my condo to a townhouse. I am located in Rangeview now which is just a tad east of Seton Hospital and across from South Mahogany. I will see you there next time.🤗 my address is in the info.] Greetings! I am a retired stay at home mom and grandma. I have owned Shih-Tzu/Shih-Tzu Bichon cross for25+ years. After having lost two, Molly to kidney issues and Buddy at 16, Oliver(4) is now my companion. I would love for him to have friends over to play ☺️ He needs some friendly company❤️ I am very able to accommodate another dog as I am not working. On occasion my grand daughters (6/7) or grandson (8) are over, and they love pets. I go for long walks with my own dog every day so pet sitting/walking fits my life style very well. I have a large condo with an oversized deck (safety surrounded, and am located across from the paths to Cranston park and also the long open areas of the pathway along river system. My home is well kept and your pet will have a good combination of rest/activity in safe and fun environment.

Anastasiia is amazing. We booked her last minute for a two week stay after our cat injured himself and needed more care while we were away. We were very anxious about traveling while he was hurt and needed vet checks. From the moment we met, we could tell that she truly loves and understands animals. She took such great care of all of our pets including our injured cat who required daily medication, our other two cats and our small dog. We received frequent communication and pictures. I could tell that our pets were loved, happy and very comfortable. It allowed us to go on our vacation with absolute peace of mind. I can’t say enough good things about Anastasiia.

Stephanie is the most amazing person. Her communication is outstanding. My dog stayed with her for the first time recently; I am always apprehensive when I use a new sitter. However I felt so comfortable with the entire experience, from my initial meeting to my dog having a mini vacation away from me. I am sure she came back a more educated dog and life in the farm was what she needed. The experience with Stephanie is exceptional and I highly recommend using her for taking care of your dog. I will be using her going forward. My dog will be looking forward to it too! Thanks for everything!

About: I currently work at a professional pet hotel, daycare, and boarding facility, where I care for dogs and cats with a wide variety of personalities, needs, and energy levels. I have experience safely handling dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to extra-large breeds which can range from <5lb to 140lb, and regularly supervise groups of 10–15 dogs at a time. My responsibilities include maintaining a safe and controlled environment, monitoring interactions, recognizing changes in behaviour, and ensuring each dog receives an appropriate balance of exercise, enrichment, play, rest, and affection. I understand that successful pet care is not only about keeping animals active and it is also about helping them feel calm, comfortable, and secure. Through my work, I have cared for puppies, senior pets, blind dogs, nervous or sensitive animals, and pets with health concerns that require additional patience and careful handling. Every animal is different, so I adapt my approach to their individual personality, routine, physical abilities, and comfort level while closely following the instructions provided by their family. I am also a pet parent to three dogs and three cats, including two Cocker Spaniels, a Miniature Schnauzer puppy, and three wonderfully different cats. Caring for my own animals has given me firsthand experience with puppy energy, senior-pet needs, multi-pet households, and plenty of unique personalities. I will treat your pets with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own! As a recent university graduate working part-time at a pet hotel facility, I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. I can accommodate weekdays, weekends, daytime visits, and overnight stays depending on your pet’s needs. Caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine, and I am happy to work around each pet’s established feeding, walking, play, and rest schedule. I care for every pet according to their individual personality, routine, comfort level, and family’s instructions. I prioritize safety by closely supervising pets, monitoring their body language, securing doors and gates, and making sure dogs are properly leashed before leaving the home. During visits, I provide an appropriate balance of exercise, enrichment, affection, and calm time without forcing interaction. I am experienced with pets of different sizes, ages, temperaments, and physical needs, and I understand when an animal needs additional patience or personal space. In a client’s home, I will treat both the pet and the property with care and respect. I will maintain your pet’s normal routine, keep their environment clean and secure, and provide dependable updates and photos so you can feel confident that they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: I have a special place in my heart for the runts and those fur babies needing love, and have been adopting and caring for pets since childhood. I have done lots of training, and research after adopting a rescue dog with severe separation anxiety. I believe strongly in listening to a pets nonverbal boundaries. I enjoy getting out in nature and would love for your dogs to join me. I'm excited to shower love on your fur babies when you need to be away. I work 8 am to 230pm Monday to Friday. I have lots of time and energy in the Afternoons, Evenings and Weekends to dedicate to caring for your loved animals. I have a fenced yard and love getting out the excess energy on long walks. I have experience crate training as well. Play time and interaction is so important for all fur babies, and can't wait to meet yours.

She truly goes above and beyond. She did everything to make sure my poor girl was comfortable as she was having some anxiety issues and she took every extra step to help her get through it. By the end they were besties… which also eased my mind. Was also a special sprite to come home to a house that was put together and dogs that were happy and excited. She will be permanent and regular

FAQs for House Sitting - Bragg Creek

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Bragg Creek on Rover is $51.06 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,238 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bragg Creek. Enter your postal code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bragg Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Garbage & recycling: Taking garbage bins to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bragg Creek walking routes, the location of your favourite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bragg Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

You can find what you need to review a sitter on their profile before booking with them. Each sitters’s profile on Rover shows verified reviews, identity check, and ratings to give a glimpse of how their previous visits went. You can also use the Meet & Greet to walk through your home, identifying which areas, like your bedroom, are off-limits or not. Requesting details of your home security through the app can also be a good way to have your sitter keep you updated about your home.

If you have security cameras or doorbells, Rover asks that you disclose them to sitters before you book.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
