About: I love spending time with pets and getting to know them and their interests and then doing as much as we can to create a great connection and ensure the pet is getting the most out of my time with them! I work full time but I am a contractor so I am able to make my own schedule for the most part. After the summer I am in university at uofc but am still able to get around to different locations I care for pets by being very active with them and treating them like I would any other person. I also ensure I know their food and sleep schedule so that they are not forgotten about no matter how busy my day is.

I’m currently available for daytime visits, evenings, weekends, holidays, dog walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in your home when my calendar is open. Because my schedule is flexible, I can usually work around your pet’s normal routine instead of forcing them into mine. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, midday drop-in, evening visit, medication timing, or overnight companionship, I’ll do my best to keep things consistent, calm, and reliable. For overnight care, I only accept bookings that I can properly commit to, since I can’t be in two homes overnight at the same time. I provide care in the client’s home and neighborhood, so I take trust, cleanliness, and home respect very seriously. I’m clean, well spoken, non-smoking, drug-free, and careful when entering and leaving a client’s home. I make sure doors, gates, crates, collars, harnesses, and leashes are secure, and I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely. Before a booking, I like to confirm feeding routines, walk expectations, medication instructions, emergency contacts, vet information, house access, leash rules, and any behaviours I should know about. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, large dogs, shy animals, anxious pets, reactive dogs, rescues, and pets with mobility or medical needs. I also drive and have a valid driver’s license and insurance, which gives added peace of mind in case of an emergency. During visits and overnight stays, I’ll provide updates and photos so you know your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for.

I am a retired stay at home mom and grandma. I have owned Shih-Tzu/Shih-Tzu Bichon cross for25+ years. After having lost two, Molly to kidney issues and Buddy at 16, Oliver(4) is now my companion. On occasion my grand daughters (6/7) or grandson (8) are over, and they love pets. I go for long walks with my own dog every day so pet sitting/walking fits my life style very well. I have a large condo with an oversized deck (safety surrounded, and am located across from the paths to Cranston park and also the long open areas of the pathway along river system. My home is well kept and your pet will have a good combination of rest/activity in safe and fun environment.

About: I’ve been around all animals for my entire life! Dogs are definitely up there in the favourites however I lived with cats consistently. I’ve administered medication, trimmed nails even trimmed butt hair! As a student I have lots of free time to care for pets and houses! I am full time from 9-3 but I have an extended lunch period and can show up mornings and evenings! I treat all animals as if they are my own, being around them so often has given me the ability to understand body language and make sure they feel the most comfortable around me.

I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and reptiles, and I've spent years pet-sitting for friends and family while always sharing my home with animals of my own. I rescued and transported a lot of dogs and cats over the past few years, but the biggest undertaking was helping rescue a mother dog, who we later named Sally, and her 8 one-day-old puppies from a reserve in Alberta during -38°C temperatures. I transported this special fur family to my dog trainer's acreage where we set up a secure, safe, warm area. I learned how to care for them and help with early socialization, structure, and training to prepare them for life with their future families. Every puppy, and Sally herself, has since been adopted into loving, forever homes. Being part of something like this was definitely one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of my life! I am in a position with much flexibility and availability in my schedule, allowing me to easily accommodate most booking requests with little advanced notice. ❤️ Your Pet Is Family Every pet parent should have worry-free, stress-free pet care.
