About: I have always had pets as a child and continued to take care of animals throughout my entire lifetime. As a child, I was able to observe how they behaved and interacted with one another, which allowed me to learn their habits, needs, and different personalities, e.g., energetic puppies; timid pets; and elderly pets that require a gentler approach. What distinguishes me from others is my ability to be patient, dependable, and my excellent communication skills, something that I have developed while studying to become a Social Worker. I know how to listen actively and remain calm in stressful situations, as well as being compassionate, all of which greatly contribute to providing safe, reliable, and loving care for animals. I take time to understand each animal's behaviour and routine, as well as any special needs, so they can be comfortable and enjoy being cared for while you are away. My aspiration is to treat each pet as if it were my own and to always create the best possible experience, with little or no stress for the owner or pet. I’ve incorporated my dog-walking services and other services naturally into my schedule. This allows me to walk your pet during the day, visit and/or stay with them while you work or are away. I will always be reliable with regard to timing and communication. I carefully plan my schedule so that I can give every pet that I look after proper exercise and attention on a consistent basis, and I make sure that each pet's daily routine is closely adhered to (this would include feeding, walking, medication, or playtime). Most evenings and weekends are open, and are ideal for long stays or extra visits. Your fur-baby is my top priority when caring for them, I make it my mission to protect your pet and give them the best care they need!

“I am really very happy with Chelsea, we have our usual dog sitter which did not work out this time. Chelsea took initiative, met my dogs, checked out my house, asked lots of good questions, and checked in before I departed. She did well with the directions left, having to improvise a lot (my bad) while taking good care of my munchkins. She asked questions to clarify and kept in touch with photos too which meant a great deal. Thank you ☺️”

She sent lots of photos and updates (at my request ) which was awesome for me. She doubled checked on my flights to make sure the dog wasn’t left along too long before returning home and the next day checked in to make sure everything was ok. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have never gone without having one by my side, so looking after them feels completely natural to me. While I was away at university, I even fostered a couple of dogs because I missed having that companionship so much it was incredibly rewarding to give them love and stability while they waited for their forever homes. Recently, I lost my two dogs, and while I’m not quite ready to bring a new puppy into my home, caring for others’ pets feels like the perfect way to keep sharing that love, attention, and companionship that dogs deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make it a priority in my day. I’m currently working part-time with a chiropractic internship from Monday to Thursday, which still leaves me with plenty of time and energy to give your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m available on weekdays after 4pm as well as on weekends, making it easy for me to accommodate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or overnight care. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. My goal is always to create a trustworthy, secure environment where your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home.
