About: I was born and raised on a mixed farm in Southern Saskatchewan. While growing up, I was surrounded by farm cats and dogs. However, my residence doesn’t allow pets in the house. When I came across Rover, I thought it would be a great opportunity to interact and be around animals. I am trustworthy, punctual and energetic! I enjoy walking and biking around my neighbourhood. I am an animal bioscience graduate with volunteer experience at a veterinary clinic. While working at the clinic I have taken care of clients cats and various sized dogs. Tasks would include helping the technicians restrain the pet while they receive a vaccine, cleaning poop in the kennels, feeding and watering the animals, going for walks when needed and always petting them when given the chance. I look forward to taking care of your pet.

About: While I haven’t owned my own dogs, my sister rescued from all over so I’ve been able to care for many dogs. I’m comfortable with any size dog. I am currently available for week day/evenings and weekends available to care for your animals. I will be able to maneuver my schedule as needed. I will follow any house rules in regards to caring for your pet in your home. Whether it special crating, meals, yard safety and limits etc.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, current horse owner and former dog owner. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, including large dogs, and with administering medications, including injections. I provide patient, reliable and loving care based on each pet’s individual needs. I’m Rory, a full-time work-from-home sitter who cares for one family’s dogs at a time, so your dog gets focused attention and a predictable, low-stress stay. I’m home throughout the day and night, which means your dog is rarely alone. If I do step out briefly, it’s never for more than an hour, and I’m always happy to align with your dog’s routine and comfort level. ⸻ Daily routine, walks, and outdoor time We have a fully fenced backyard for regular outdoor breaks, play, and relaxed time outside. I’m also just two blocks from the Bow River pathway system, with paved and unpaved trails, hills, and quiet spots that are perfect for sniffing and exploring. Walks are tailored to the dog. That can mean a short 10-minute stroll, or longer 8 km loops (an hour or more) through the river paths and surrounding hills, depending on age, energy level, and preference. ⸻ A calm canine companion Your dog will share the space with Willow, my well-mannered senior Great Dane. She’s low-energy, gentle, and has spent now 3 years helping visiting dogs settle in comfortably. Her calm presence is especially helpful for dogs who benefit from a relaxed, steady environment while their owners are away. Because I only host one household at a time, the dynamic stays simple and manageable. ⸻ Experience and care approach I grew up on a farm and have cared for animals my entire life. I’m comfortable with puppies (typically not intact males), adult dogs, and seniors, and I’m happy to administer oral medications if needed. Dogs are welcome on furniture and can sleep in the same room as me. Crates are preferred for sleeping and downtime, and I can provide extra-large crates if requested, or use your own setup if that’s what your dog prefers. ⸻ Drop-ins and house checks In addition to boarding and daycare, I offer pet drop-ins and daytime house checks in south Calgary and northern Okotoks. These visits can include feeding, walks, companionship, plant watering, mail collection, and garbage day management. I work from home and can keep a 24/7 eye on your pet. When sitting we won’t be leaving them at home, and will take them on daily walks around the neighborhood, including the paved walkways along the Bow River in Riverstone. I work from home full-time and only look after one family’s dogs at a time, so pets get plenty of supervision and consistency. My home has a fully fenced yard for frequent outdoor breaks, and walks and playtime are always tailored to each dog’s needs. I closely follow feeding and care instructions, can give oral medications if needed, and send regular photo updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. At my place, I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time and supervised play. There is also one friendly 2-year-old Havanese (my parents’ dog), so I’m mindful of introductions and always make sure all dogs feel comfortable and safe. I can easily crate your dog if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to have free roam of the house if preferred. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow your pet’s usual schedule as closely as possible to keep things consistent and stress-free. About: Come stay with the Aussie twins in a large 2500 sq foot home centrally located downtown. With over 7000sq of fenced in outdoor space, your pup will sure be tired after his/her stay. I have had a dog since I was 10 years old, all of which being Australian shepherds, so I know how to handle to smart energetic breeds quite well. Both of my dogs that I currently have, have been through obedience training, and one of them is working on agility. I have also done tracking, and herding with my dogs. I have dog sat, many different breeds before and I have never had any issues. So send your pup my way and they will have the best time! Lots of walks can be provided and off leash dog park visits too!
