We set up a time for her to come by a few days before we left (for 6 days) to meet the cats and show her around the house. She was very relaxed and we could immediately tell that she knew how to approach cats so as not to intimidate or frighten them so they seemed to warm up to her right away. Caitlin came by twice a day while we were gone and sent an update on the cats - how they were eating and behaving - and also send photos of all three each time. When we got home the cats were very relaxed and acted exactly as they do when we have been around so we knew that they liked Caitlin and had been well taken care of. About: Growing up, I've always been surrounded by pets. My mom used to plonk me and Candy, my adorable French Poodle, into the same playpen. Candy wasn't just a pet; she was like my first best buddy. Then came Kina, our sweet Golden Retriever. Even at 10 years old, I took on the job of looking after her – walks, baths, food, the works. When she got older and needed surgeries, I was there for her, giving meds, cleaning wounds, and just showering her with love till the end. After Kina, Waffle came along. It's like having double the fun! And sometimes, I get the chance to look after my best friend's dog, Nala. When possible, I like to meet dogs outside first so they can interact in a neutral environment with my own dog. We start with a short 5–10 minute walk together, which helps the dogs get comfortable, recognize each other as part of the same group, and build trust in a relaxed way. Once at home, I closely supervise the dogs while allowing them freedom to move around the house so they feel comfortable and at ease. I pay close attention to their body language, energy levels, and needs, making sure they feel safe, secure, and cared for at all times.

Kathleen looked after my cat, Tandra, for a 12-day twice a day drop in. My cat loved her - from the first visit he was her buddy and I knew that he’d be in great hands when I left. She kept me in the loop constantly, and was always flexible about instructions I forgot or a new request (ie key handover or rescuing my vacuum robot). The photos each visit were great and I could tell how content Tandra was. She followed all my instructions - and Tandra is picky so there were a few things regarding his food and treats! I would absolutely recommend her for any cat sits and would book again. Super easy and friendly to work with. I didn’t have a single worry about my cat or what mess he might get into while she was dropping in on him.
Justine was great! This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little worried, but her reviews were very good and I felt relaxed when I met her. She took very good care of my two kitties while I was away for three days. One of the cats is usually very scared of new people but she came out to meet Justine every time and even asked her to play with her in her cat wheel - that tells me the cats really trusted Justine. As a bonus, Justine takes really pretty pictures of the cats!

Tiana was great watching our two cats whole we were away. She made sure that they were fed (even though they were lucky eaters), that the litter boxes were cleaned and that they were played with at every visit. She also helped to make sure that things were kept tidy when they knocked over things and was extremely adaptable when our trip timing changed.

Had a really great experience with Julien taking care of Smokey while we were away. He was super responsive and proactive from the very beginning when we were figuring out all the details, and he even came by beforehand to meet Smokey which I really appreciated. You can tell Julien genuinely loves cats and cares about making them comfortable. Smokey was in great hands and I’d absolutely trust him again in the future.
Devon was such an incredible sitter for my two cats. It was my first time leaving them alone for a week, and having her visit daily gave me such peace of mind. Her daily updates were excellent, kept me in the loop about how they were doing, and always had adorable photos.
