“Excellent service. Conner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable leaving our beloved pets behind for a week. He sent photos and videos. Good communication! Thank you, Conner, we will contact you again for help on future trips!”

“Archie loved Rebecca and that’s a great deal. She was very attentive with his schedule and routine, and made sure that he was well taken care of. She spent time with him and sent pictures every day. I’ll definitely have her pet sitting him again. Thank you, Rebecca!!! 😄♥️”

“Cora is a great sitter and took excellent care of my cats and my home while I was away for 2 weeks! She was reliable and very thorough - sent lots of updates and cute pictures/videos, spent extra time with the cats, helped water my plants and even tried to save my dying succulent. Would highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Caroline was wonderful with my puppy, Mila. She made sure Mila had potty breaks, playtime, and even some training. I really appreciated her thoughtful updates and attention to detail. Highly recommend!”

About: I have extensive experience in the pet-care industry. I started doing dog-walking and dog-running for a variety of sizes and breeds. Tailoring walks to their specific energy levels and needs. I then moved on to working in Dog Daycares as a room attendant for about 4 years, I gained lots of experience with pack dynamics, body language, as well as handling a multitude of sizes, breeds, temperaments and needs. I also assisted in boarding operations for daycare and did more hands-on care with medications, feeding schedules, etc. I recently have gained experience in taking care of cats and now have one of my own. Some of my experience is with kittens who needed training and lots of play. Others were elderly and needed special attention, needing to administer medications at specific times. I am a huge animal lover with lots of experience in this field and wish to provide the best possible care for your animals. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule at the moment and plenty of availability. I want to provide pets focused, hands-on attention and care. After stepping away from large daycare environments I want to continue using my skills gained in this field to provide care for animals, especially those who require fully-present enrichment, attention and excercise and may not do well in group environments and need a dedicated one-on-one caregiver. Creating a safe and trustworthy environment is a top priority for me, I am very experienced in reading dog/cat body language, respecting boundaries and adjusting my approach to every pets specific needs and comfort levels. I have experience with many animals of different sizes, breeds and temperaments and know how to navigate nervousness, anxiety and any other elevated emotions. I communicate clearly with owners so they know their animals are getting the best care possible and notify them of any problems or concerns in regards to their pets safety, health and needs.
“Madison has rescued me more than once when I've needed last minute pet-sitting. She is a delight - always responsive and compassionate to my boys' needs and understands/supports my obsessive pet parent need to have lots of updates! She's the best.”
About: I’ve been in love with dogs for as long as I can remember! I grew up with three dogs in my home (Ella, Fibi, & Sofi). I occasionally pet sit for my friends & family whenever they are out of town and I’m happy to meet some new dog friends! I will gladly send you pictures and video updates of your sweet dog! I am also happy to play with them using their favourite toys and don’t mind spending extra time for some cuddles and pets while I’m there! I work freelance from home so my schedule is super duper flexible! I am happy to visit your pets whenever is best for their schedule. I will gladly send you pictures and video updates of your sweet dog! I am also happy to play with them using their favourite toys and don’t mind spending extra time for some cuddles and pets while I’m there! My dog Sofi was disabled and needed additional attention getting around the house and using the washroom, and I’m happy to provide that same attention to your dog.
“Cassandra was so great and allowed me to relax and enjoy my time away while I knew my pet was being taken care of. All of the photo’s she sent were much appreciated, I 100% plan on rebooking with her in the future!”

“Shiloh was absolutely amazing with my guy Oliver. I had her come over for a daily visit to let Oliver out mid day, she was punctual and communicative…. also took great pictures. I would highly recommend”

“Very grateful for my experience with Kateryna! Not only was she able to step in when a family friend changed plans of watching my two cats 3 days before my trip! She also took time from her day when my toilet flooded my apartment to make sure both my belongings and cats were okay. I’m very pleased with the care she took of my cats as they’re quite particular in their needs. Would recommend Kateryna to any cat family and definitely book again!”

“Ivy & Tsering did a wonderful job taking care of my sweet kitty! She clearly loves them and was obviously well cared for in my absence. They were also very accommodating as I figured out my travel dates, and I was very happy with the updates and communication I received throughout the trip. Highly recommend!”

“I had a great experience with Tiana taking care of my cat! She was reliable, followed all of my instructions, and kept me updated with photos and messages during each visit, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I came home to a happy cat and everything was just as I left it. I’d definitely book with her again :)”

“Megan was absolutely wonderful with my dog. She was so calm, patient, and clearly caring. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such great hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“Rachel was amazing with both my dogs. They were instantly comfortable with her, and she offered and stayed for extra time. She is very sweet and understanding. I love her vibe and I think my dogs are in safe hands with her.”

“Amber was so patient and attentive to Freya while we were gone for the day. She sent us pictures and updates that put my mind at ease. She is a true dog lover and trustworthy. I highly recommend her for any walks or sitting you need!”

“These two were so kind and generous, took the time to meet with our pups and were so patient with our excitable puppy. They were diligent about double checking care details and we just so appreciated their willingness to help. Our cat unexpectedly got aggressive with them and we felt so awful but they still provided regular updates and showed kindness. You and your pets will love these two.”

Svitlana was fantastic with my large senior dog. She arrived on time and showed a lot of patience and care with him, and was always attentive to his needs. The photos she provided were a wonderful touch and really showcased his personality. I will be booking with Svitlana again and highly recommend her services!

Daniela did a fantastic job with my dog today! She stopped by for a potty break visit and was reliable, attentive, and clearly great with animals. I really appreciated the updates and could tell my dog was well taken care of and happy. It’s such a relief knowing I can count on her. I’d definitely recommend Daniela to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Chantel has been amazing coming twice a day to hang out with Hershey and take him on a walk around our neighborhood! He gets so excited when she comes to our door and waits for her on the top of our couch. She has been such a help while I’ve been recovering from knee surgery and haven’t been able to walk him myself :)

Kate was so wonderful! She came for a last minute visit with our 6 month old puppy (our first time using Rover with him). She made us feel so comfortable - she was very confident and sent us updates and photos during the visit. Our puppy was very happy and tired when we got home :). We will definitly call Kate again!

We booked a drop in visit with Kerry to have our enthusiastic and energetic Dobe meet her before we leave for a couple weeks. Kerry was very attentive to Wylie and listen carefully to the instruction we wanted to convey. Wylie was at ease very quickly with Kerry and I’m confident they will get along just fine when we are away.

This was my first time booking through Rover, and I'm very happy to have had Mary Grace break all the nerves that came with that. She was very kind, showed up very prepared, was understanding to my nervousness and treated my pups very well. My "usually never stops barking" pup even took to her so well that he wasn't barking by the second drop in. Thank you so much for making our weekend away easier than we thought and I hope you're available next time we need a hand =)

Mona is wonderful with our 14.5 year old dog. She is happy, friendly, reliable and courteous. She is not shy, she picks him up, kisses him, and lets him sit with her at all times. We are so appreciative to have Mona helping us. Our dog has trouble seeing and hearing and our condo is new to him. She is patient and kind and we are so thankful!
Loved working with this dog sitter! She was so gentle and caring with my puppy, sent me photos and updates during the visit, and everything was on time. You can tell she truly loves animals and takes her job seriously. I will definitely book with her again and highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
