“Theo was absolutely amazing with my cat, Alma! I felt so at ease knowing she was in such great hands. Theo went above and beyond, and it was clear how much she genuinely cares. Alma is going to miss her so much! I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and reliable pet sitter.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 7. Everything started at my grandma’s house where I used to pet sit her cat which led to me owning a cat and a dog at our house which I had to pet sit when my mom and dad were away. My loves for pets started growing since then and am currently doing it with for 2 years here in Rover. I do petsit for our friends when they go away for family vacations and this has been an amazing experience. I do believe with my experience, we will be your perfect pet sitters🐶🐱 We are both working full-time and we are open to working weekdays and weekends too. We are in the house weekdays 5pm till 8am next morning and available in the house all day on weekends. We like going for walks and we can put your pets into our daily evening walks routine. Any suggestions on how to care for your pet or what your pet likes the most, are welcome😊
About: I've been a loving pet owner for over 30 years, ever since my kids were little. Now that they're all grown, I have even more time (and love!) to dedicate to caring for your furry family members. With decades of experience and a genuine love for all animals, I treat every pet like one of my own—with patience, kindness, and plenty of snuggles. Whether it's a walk, a cuddle, or special care, your pets are in safe, loving hands with me! Shelly I’m currently working from home. Looking to be able to help care for pets in my home. And provide loving space for them to feel safe while you are away from them. I have a back yard that is fully fenced. I have a large crate of you are needing that to be used and I have a well trained dog that would love some company. If this isn’t something you want other arrangements can be made to have separate areas for them.
About: I’ve been around dogs for years and genuinely love caring for them like they’re my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from laid-back cuddle bugs to bigger, active dogs who need a good long walk. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can actually trust. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications and all the little quirks that make each dog different. I’m active and love being outdoors, so walks and adventures are always welcome—but I’m equally happy hanging out at home with a pup who prefers a quieter day. Most importantly, I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable and very loved while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I work remotely, which gives me lots of flexibility to make pet care a natural part of my day. I’m able to be home for plenty of company, attention and cuddles, while also building in regular walks, outdoor time and play throughout the day. I’m already active and love getting outside, so having a four-legged walking buddy is always a bonus! Because I’m home most of the day, I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine rather than expecting them to adapt to mine. Safety and trust are incredibly important to me. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine, house rules and any specific instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible. Because I work from home, pets in my care get plenty of supervision and aren’t left alone for long stretches. I’m attentive on walks, respectful of leash rules and careful around unfamiliar dogs and environments. I also believe communication is a huge part of trust, so you can expect regular photos and updates while your pet is with me. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely comfortable leaving your pet with me, and for them to feel safe, relaxed and very well cared for.
About: I've looked after dogs for over 25 years, raising my own small pack of Rhodesian Ridgebacks from pup to memorialized gone but not forgotten family. I have a wealth of experience raising and training 3 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a large (40kg - 50kg) confident breed of hound. This experience included raising and training puppies, addressing various accidental injuries that occurred during their lifetime, and senior care prior to their leaving. Recently I was living with 2 mixed breed dogs 8 and 5 years old, both over 25kg. I am allergic to cat dander and therefore will not accept any dog sitting or walking opportunities where a cat is also on the premises. I'm newly retired and my own dogs are gone. I was living with 2 mixed breed dogs recently and would like to be around dogs more often, helping them maintain a high quality of life. I have the time to travel and look after other's pets and would enjoy being a care giver for animals, providing pet parents reassuring care for their pets. I'm unable to have pets at my current accommodations, so I would look after pets as a house sitter, respecting and following any pet owner care requirements the pet parent has. I was a career project manager in 2 fast paced industries, so following instructions and schedules, with attention to detail, is in my nature both personally and professionally.
“Karen stepped up last minute when my friend backed out of watching my cats the night before Christmas Eve. I cannot thank her enough for being available, and for the great care she took of my two cats while I was gone. She provided updates and our cats seemed to like her!”

About: Hi! I’m Brianna! I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and I’ve had my own dog since I was 12. He was my best friend and a huge part of my life, so I know firsthand how much our pets mean to us. They’re family! I’ve also worked at a pet boarding facility, where I cared for cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I have experience house sitting large dogs and caring for cats in their homes as well. I’m comfortable giving medications, following specific feeding routines, and taking care of the not so glamorous stuff that comes with having pets. My goal is simple: I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog needs lots of walks and playtime, your cat needs some company, or your pet has a very specific routine, I’m happy to follow it. 🐶🐱 I work in person Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30, so I’m primarily available for evening visits, overnight stays, weekends, and walks or drop ins outside of my work hours. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get the care and attention they’re used to. I prioritize keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I follow each pet’s care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific needs. I keep doors and gates secure, provide plenty of supervision and attention, and make sure pets are comfortable in their own environment. I’m also respectful of clients’ homes and always leave them clean and tidy.
About: Hi I’m Suki! I’ve cared for dogs and cats for several years, and I truly treat every pet like family. I’m patient, attentive, and confident with shy, energetic, or sensitive animals. I have experience with daily routines, walks, feeding, basic training reinforcement, and keeping pets comfortable and safe. Pet parents can count on me for clear communication, reliability, and lots of love for their furry companions. I have a very open and flexible weekly schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day. I’m home often, which means plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping pets on their normal routine. I love having animals around, so giving them attention, structure, and company is something I genuinely enjoy throughout the week. Safety is always my top priority. I follow each pet’s routine closely, keep a clean and calm environment, and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times. I pay attention to body language, comfort levels, and any special instructions from pet parents. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I create a safe, loving space where pets feel relaxed, cared for, and never rushed. You can count on me for updates, honesty, and treating your pet like my own.
About: I love dogs! I've had years of experience with my previous two dogs. I grew up with a wonderful cocker spaniel and a very active golden retriever, Curerntly I am beeing called "Auntie Danny" as I help as much as I can with my roommates and best friend dogs (An American Bully, a Westie and two rescue dogs from Peru) This said I can handle different type of breeds, very active and playful dogs or smaller ones as well. I also became a dog mom 4 years ago of a golden doodle with very high energy. 14 years ago I move abroad to Canada looking for better opportunities, leaving my family and dogs back home. Thankfully I've found this platform and it seems like the perfect way to connect with other doggies while making some extra money. Looking forward to spend some paw fun times with your dogs. I'm sure we will have a crazy amount of fun together. Thanks for your time. Looking forward to hear from you! :D I’m currently working part time so have lots of time to accommodate your walks or boardings needs. What a best way to do it than getting extra steps with your dog I live in a townhouse in a fenced compound. Since I have a dog of my own the house is very well dog proof and I’m very mindful of removing items or foods that might be attracted to them
“Kari is so sweet. She met with us beforehand. The day of the visit, she sent pictures and an update of how everything went. We felt so happy knowing that our dog was well taken care of while we were out. We will definitely have Kari back!”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I recently moved to Canada from Ukraine, while my own dog, Oskar, stayed back home with my family. I miss him every day, and caring for other dogs brings me so much joy and helps me feel connected to what I love most. I’ve spent years looking after Oskar as well as dogs belonging to friends and family. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always treat them with patience, kindness, and love. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Before and after work, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love. I’m available for overnight stays, evenings, weekends, and longer bookings. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and provide regular photo and message updates, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I believe every dog deserves to feel relaxed, loved, and at home while their family is away :)
About: I have had 7 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, these years of experience include caring for my disabled husky who needed a wheelchair as well as special care. I am not faint of heart to animals having accidents and needing to clean up for it. I have learned different ways to motivate and get older and slower dogs up and moving around, as well as calming down hyperactive breeds. I am confident and willing to walk and deal with difficult dogs who need that little bit of extra attention and care. As well, I currently have a fluffy cat who needs special food and is on a diet so I am aware and able to deal with different dietary needs of all pets.

About: I am back to providing great pet care after a couple years off of Rover! I grew up on a farm and have cared for animals for as long as I can remember, chickens, newborn kittens, hamsters, dogs, horses, and fish. I have also worked with animals at a pet store where I interacted with dogs and cats all day! I also have my own baby cats that are very spoiled and I help my partner care for his dog with walks and enrichment when he has to work long hours. I am currently working with 2 dogs who are large and reactive, so I have experience with difficult dogs. I have a lot of energy and love to run and I also love to make animals happy so I am committed to making sure dogs get enriching walks and training time, and cats get interactive play time. Call me, your animal will thank you :) I work weekends and have a flexible work schedule during the week so just let me know what times you need pet care and we can work it out! When I am caring for any dog I make sure to take them on a variety of walks, such as sniff-walks, training-walks, and exercise walks. I also understand the importance of play for both cats and dogs, and make sure to incorporate that as well. I am also comfortable going to the dog park for socialization if the dog I’m with is good in that setting. I normally don't let them say hi to other dogs or people on a walk unless the person I'm watching them for specifically says it’s ok or they want me to socialize their dog while on the leash.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
