“Second time we used Kelsey for drop ins for our cat. Kelsey is super sweet with our kitty and makes the whole process super easy! We get lots of pictures and updates daily so we know we don’t need to worry! We would definitely recommend Kelsey and will book her again next time :)”

About: Growing up we always had a dog in the house. When old enough I started dog walking and sitting family and friends dogs. I have train our own family dogs but I have cared for numerous dogs, young and old. I currently have a part time job that allows me to have weekends off. It also allows me to have afternoons off to dog sit, drop in, or dog walk when needed. At a pet owners place I will keep the dog safe by following the owners rules, keeping gates/doors closed. When on walks, I prefer to keep the dog on leash however, if proven, I’ll let the dog off leash ONLY if trained and proven trustworthy.
About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. My first pup was a recuse from a puppy mill and we loved her for 16 years. When i was a young adult, i recused a stray tabby who sadly just past away at the ripe age of 21. We then just rescued another cat named Budweiser (not our choice but love it 😂) Now, my family and i have just finished loving our mini golden doodle in her 13th year and our hearts are missing that puppy presence. We are also a rescue foster dog family and love taking in the ones who need love the most. I have also volunteered in Nunavut at the animal rescue shelter and loved every minute of it. I am a stay at home mom who works a few hours a day at my kids school. We are a sports filled family, so after school activities are always happening but we can discuss hours that work for all of us. I have a fenced in yard and a furry friend to keep you pup company. I have a baby gate at the front door to allow the pups to sniff and meet our cat before enjoying our day together.
About: Animals are my best friend. I owned a dog when I was younger. I helped with every task from bathing, feeding, walking, cleaning, and playing. I understand the importance of loving our pets and providing care in a safe and healthy environment. I can play with dogs all day. I currently work part time so I have a lot of time to provide love and care for your animals. I am usually free in the morning and on the weekends. I can easily crate to your doggie's need. Their safety and comfort are important so I will do my best to ensure they feel loved and safe along with lots of snuggles and treats.
About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on an acreage surrounded by dogs, cats, and farm animals taught me responsibility, compassion, and how to understand animal behavior from a young age. That foundation has grown into years of hands-on experience with pets of all kinds, including senior animals, high-energy breeds, and those with special needs. What sets me apart is my calm, attentive approach and genuine love for animals. I’m confident handling a variety of personalities, experienced in administering medications, and trained in basic pet first aid. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, or gentle companionship, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs, always with safety and kindness at the heart of it. I work Monday to Thursday from 8:15-4:00 and Fridays from 9–2:00, which still leaves me plenty of free time before and after work, as well as evenings and weekends, to dedicate to pet care. This makes me available for dog walks, pee breaks, and drop-in visits outside of my work hours, plus more flexible time on Fridays and weekends. I’m happy to plan around your pet’s routine so they get the consistency, love, and attention they need. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize creating a calm, familiar environment where they feel safe and secure. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that means regular feeding schedules, playtime, walks, or quiet companionship. I’m respectful of your home, keeping everything clean and tidy while giving your pets the care and attention they deserve. On walks and during quick visits for pee breaks, I always keep safety top of mind, staying alert to surroundings and following any special instructions you provide. I take time to build trust with each pet so they feel comfortable and happy in my care. Clear communication with pet owners is also important to me, so you’ll always be updated with messages or photos while you’re away.
“Highly recommended. Prompt, clear communication, and very punctual. Chantelle has a genuine interest for dogs, and is very pleasant to work with. She handles large, highly energetic, dogs with ease. Would absolutely have her look after my dogs again!”

“Whenever we will be away for many hours in a day, we have Aman come to visit our dog, and her visits give us such peace of mind! She sends pictures and reports is very communicative and responsive about her care of our big boy. Our dog loves her, as she is very affectionate and caring and brings him tasty treats. 😋 I absolutely recommend Aman if you are looking for top-notch care for your furry family members!”

“Our puppy is a handful and we would like to thank Vicki very much. She and Izzy are buddies and this happened in minutes. They say dogs are a great judge of character and Izzy (and her parents) think Vicki is pretty amazing! We highly recommend her. Thank you again Vicki! ~Malia and Ed~”

About: I grew up with a family who always had animals around from dogs of all sizes, cats, hamsters, reptiles, horses, birds, llamas, donkeys, cows and fish! I have always loved bonding with and taking care of animals. I work full time Monday to Friday (currently working from home at this time), I have 2 girls both are 7 years old a chiweenie (Nylah) and chihuahua mix (Teaka) that I kennel during the day if I am not working from home. I guess you could say I’m the kind of animal lady that talks with her dogs, likes dancing with them, bringing them out to family get togethers and calls herself a dog mom. When I get home we spend time together getting excited for “scrum-nums” (feeding time), going for walks if it’s warm enough for them, pulling out and playing with almost all of the toys from the doggy toy box and then cuddling in bed counting down the days to the weekend and watching movies before bed. I have a fenced in back yard, dog beds all over the house, I may or may not be my chiweenies servant who brings her water in bed on demand, in the morning and evening I have weighed out feedings and live near walking paths. Can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Airdrie
My first time using a dog sitter/Walker or the Rover app. However, Kathryn has made it so easy with outstanding professionalism, communication and care. I now go to work everyday, comforted by the fact that my dog has a friend that cares for him, come by to spend time with him.

Kevin and Erin are absolutely amazing. They do drop in visits for my two pups a couple times a week. You can tell from the first few minutes of meeting that these two are dog people. They are great with communicating visit details. My pups absolutely love their visits. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls when I can’t be there during the day.

Thank you Nichole for your great care of Chewy and Princess Leia again! Nichole shows so much love to my babies each time she visits and walks them. She always takes care to keep in mind any health issues they are having and has been flexible when schedule changes pop-up. She is phenomenal!

Danielle is an absolute delight and I am SO glad we found her on rover. Our dog is really passive and shy so we set up a meeting before hand knowing she might be skittish. We were doing a stay cation close by but had we not been we have no doubt that if anyone could break through our shy girls demeanour it would have been Danielle. We popped back home on the second day just so our pupper knew we still existed and after that point she was a changed lady with Danielle. The updates and attention and care she gave our animals was incredible. Our cats are pretty easy, the one is actually annoying with how much he loves people, but our dog is so reserved that we were really worried about how this would go, but with the communication and time spent Danielle was a gem and we couldn’t have selected better.

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
