“Anastasia was wonderful!!! She took care of my dog when we were away on a trip , very responsible, always on time and she kip me posted on how my dog was doing, sending me pictures and text messages. Definitely recommend her!”

“Carmen was great! Highly recommend her for all your pet sitting needs. It's never easy leaving our fur babies but Carmen put my mind at ease knowing Niko (my cat) was in good hands.”

“Tanya took amazing care of Duke! He was relaxed, happy, and full of energy when we picked him up — not stressed at all. It was clear he really enjoyed his stay with her. We’ll definitely trust Tanya to watch Duke again!”

“Joanne was amazing with our Emma girl! This was our first time leaving our fur baby with Joanne she made it easier for us by providing us with photos and messages on how Emma day was going! Thanks again Joanne?”

“Pierre and Sheila were once again amazing with our cat, I felt completely at ease knowing he is in great hands. They are caring, reliable, as well as flexible to our needs. I highly recommend them!”

“Karlee is an amazing sitter! Our Jasper spent 2 weeks with her while we were gone and we constantly got updates! Not just words but pictures as well! She is so flexible with us and we appreciate it. Jasper enjoyed his time and he came back healthy and happy as well as extremely tired! Highly recommend her as a sitter and we will be using her again in the future. 😊”

“Tawyna was easy to connect with and the full process went smoothly. My dog is often anxious in new spaces but Tawyna and her family were great with him and he seemed to fit right in. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable, caring dog care!”

“We love Gary! He's like a dog whisperer but better. Linc (mini dachshund) loves going to Gary's house and is well taken care of. He gets to play with other dogs as we are all repeat customers so there is no shortage of doggy playdates. Cannot say enough good things, you can tell Gary has a natural passion for dogs. Highly recommend giving him a try.”

“Sonya was an outstanding dog sitter! Our dog came back to us so happy and was excited to go back for a second time, as we were so satisfied with Sonya's service we requested her twice in the same weekend. Sonya was very accommodating to changes in our schedule and we would highly recommend her. She also has other dogs at her place that allowed our dog to get some energy out and socialize. Thank you for everything, Sonya! We look forward to our next visit and seeing you again soon!”

“I can't speak highly enough about our experience with Lisa. She is kind, gentle and compassionate. Our dog was happy and well cared for with Lisa. Lisa also shared some dog training tips with me, which I greatly appreciate! Thank you, thank you!”

“Henri rushes to the door as soon as we are near Mary and Ryan’s building. It’s always a good sign when your dog doesn’t look back as soon as he’s in the presence of these 2 wonderful human beings.”

“Highly recommend using Penny and a pet sitter. She is very professional, giving updates almost daily of how your dogs are doing. She is very good with reading animals and understanding what they want/need and how they interact with each other.”

About: We have had 3 dogs most of our relationship (10+ Years strong), they're all getting on abit in age now but still as spry as they were as puppies. We like to ensure they get a walk a day. Your dog would be treated as part of our family for the duration they are with us - We'd ensure that they have enough stimulation to keep them from being upset that you're not around. Our French Bulldog is extremely playful and friendly and loves to make new friends. Our Shih Tzu will ensure that your dog is on its best behaviour & and our Husky would be a calming presence for them - going for longer walks with the more energetic dogs. We are both home full time so your pet won't be alone with a mixture of both human and dog attention. Erin is also a certified dog groomer so we can provide add-ons if required. Limited services at the moment but we're hoping to get a home-based setup by the end of 2026. In order to ensure your dog is comfortable, cuddled and loved while you're away we will give them attention through the days as we're both home, along with our own dogs. Ensuring they will never feel alone. Fully fenced yard. Will be able to accept dogs that are friendly with others. We allow our dogs free reign (other than sleeping with us!) but we will provide a safe/seperate space for your dog at night to sleep in peace.
“Amber is by far the best sitter we have ever had so far!!! She’s straight to the point of what’s needed and how she manages her business and we love that about her :) We’ve had a few sitters on here who unfortunately just never let us know at least once or twice daily or send photos during he’s stay and we had to ask for it witch it’s part of the service that rover is all about and we feel so fortunate to have found her as he just loves her so much, thank you Amber!”

“Once again, Yulina and her partner Morgan did an amazing job looking after Archer! I will continue to use them to sit Archer when needed because they take excellent care of him. He comes home happy and tired!”

“Suzanne was great! She communicated well with us and sent lots of pictures. She has a great backyard that our dogs enjoyed. They came home happy and healthy. Would book with her again!”

“Cheri is caring, compassionate, and thorough. My kitties love her and I can tell that she cares for them as she would her own. She focuses highly on keeping routine and structure the same, which brings comfort and peace of mind for both me and my fur babies. She’s super accommodating and reliable. Thank you, Cheri! 🤗”

“We booked Carmen for 30 minute check ins while we were away on vacation, and she was absolutely wonderful with our cat, Bella. Bella seemed so happy and well-cared for every day…she was fed, cuddled, and clearly given lots of love! Carmen sent us regular photos and updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were gone. It’s obvious she has a natural way with animals, and Bella warmed up to her so quickly. We’re so grateful for her care and would happily book her again! Highly recommend. 💛”

“Alyssa is absolutely amazing with our kitties!! She makes us so comfortable leaving them in her care and updates us thoroughly. We will always choose Alyssa when we travel and we highly recommend you do as well!”

“Andrea was great, it was so reassuring to have someone who understands the anxiety that comes with leaving pets at home. My kitties were in great hands and I came home to happy healthy kitties which is always a great feeling. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Danielle is an absolute delight and I am SO glad we found her on rover. Our dog is really passive and shy so we set up a meeting before hand knowing she might be skittish. We were doing a stay cation close by but had we not been we have no doubt that if anyone could break through our shy girls demeanour it would have been Danielle. We popped back home on the second day just so our pupper knew we still existed and after that point she was a changed lady with Danielle. The updates and attention and care she gave our animals was incredible. Our cats are pretty easy, the one is actually annoying with how much he loves people, but our dog is so reserved that we were really worried about how this would go, but with the communication and time spent Danielle was a gem and we couldn’t have selected better.”

“Aleisha was great with our two cats - one loves attention and the other can be a little feisty - and communication was always fast and clear. We'd definitely book again!”

About: I adopted my cat seven years from a small shelter, and have taken care of family members cats as well. Love taking care of cats and dogs. Will do anything the animal needs, when they are happy, I’m happy.

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our Binoo. The pictures and messages gave us many smiles & calmness while away on vacation. To us, your care is priceless. Look forward to seeing you again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“After other theories for our cat fell through, we messaged Robert on shorter notice than anyone would probably recommend! Communication was great and he took it in stride. I wouldn’t consider our cat too high-maintenance, but she is kind of quirky. He worked with her and the regular updates showed they were becoming friends by the time we returned. She clearly did well and we won’t hesitate to book him again for future feline needs. Thank you!”

“Nichole made Chewy and Leia’s week with afternoon walks and visits while I was out of town. Thank you Nichole!!!! She is my go to for taking the best care of my kids and always sending me pics. 😊”

“You will have a hard time finding a more caring and conscientious sitter than Victoria. We are so lucky to have found her and look forward to her looking after our fur babies in the future.”

“My dog was a very happy dog while staying with Anastasia and her mother! Anastasia was able to fulfill a last minute booking for me and I am beyond grateful! She was extremely quick to respond and a great communicator! Thank-you Anastasia and mom!”

“We have several friends and relatives that can take care of Brisket when needed, but we wanted to have backup sitters in case of emergency. This visit was only a chance for Brisky to get familiar with Kevin and Erin and their pups. Good people, they are clearly dog people and we are looking forward to utilizing them through Rover in the future.”

“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little guy. Sent lots of photos and kept me updated with prompt replies throughout the day. Dakota came back ready for a long long nap”

“Sonya was such a sweetheart ? My dogs were cuddling with her which is very rare for my dogs to do with new people. Sonya gave photo updates throughout the day which was so nice. They really enjoyed their stay and met new friends and a cat! We will definitely visit her again.”

“Nichole was great. Zeek came back super happy and tired. Which Is great and easy to communicate with and happy she was able to accommodate last minute. Will Def book again!”

“Amazing care takers with lovely dogs and went above and beyond with my dog’s daycare while providing updates regularly. Very nice and passionate people that treat your dog as their own!”

About: I bring a gentle, patient, and structured approach to every pet I care for. Animals and I often have similar interests… a nice walk, a cozy spot to rest by the fire place, and cookies. Beyond our mutual interests, I’m mindful of their comfort, their boundaries, and their little quirks. My philosophy is simple: pets deserve to be respected as their own beings, with their own needs, routines, and personalities. I’ve cared for animals for over 20 years. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, diabetic and medical-needs pets, high-energy breeds, and reactive or anxious animals (though we do not accept reactive pets for boarding). I can confidently give medication (including injections), handle special routines, and support training basics like leash manners, sit, stay, and crate comfort. Our home is calm, spacious, and intentionally set up to feel cozy and safe. We have a fenced yard for free play, quiet spaces throughout the house, and the flexibility to tailor environments to each pet: quiet nooks, soft blankets, sunny nap spots, or space to play. We live adjacent to safe, and pet friendly trails and green spaces for on-leash adventures. I make pets feel welcome by meeting them exactly where they’re at—soft voice, slow approach, cuddles if they want them, playtime when they’re ready, and a home filled with warmth. I’m adaptable, attentive, and thoughtful about every small detail that helps pets feel grounded and comfortable. My friends would say I comfort animals the way some people comfort children—and honestly, that’s true. I treat pets with the same presence and patience I give my own family. They get luxury comforts, steady routines, lots of care, and the freedom to be unapologetically themselves. I’m happy to send photo updates and keep you in the loop however you prefer. Most of all, I’m here to give your pet a cozy, calm, and loving experience from the moment they arrive. I am a stay at home mom, who routinely cares for pets in our home, and in the community. I take a lot of pride in offering adaptable care to the pets who come stay with us! I’ve come home full-time from a career in the legal sector, and I’m loving the time I get to spend with my family and furry friends. In My Home: I offer a calm, cozy, and well-structured environment where pets can settle in at their own pace. I pay close attention to their comfort, body language, and individual needs—whether that means quiet spaces to decompress, soft places to nap, room to play, or one-on-one attention. I maintain predictable routines, gentle handling, and a low-stress atmosphere. I can tailor different areas of our home so each pet feels safe and supported, and I’m experienced with special diets, medication (including injections), and unique care plans. In Your Home (Drop-Ins): My focus is to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. This includes feeding, water refresh, litter or outdoor breaks, medication if needed, enrichment, exercise, and companionship based on what your pet enjoys. I use a soft, patient approach—always respecting boundaries, energy levels, and comfort.
“We brought our puppy to Karlee for doggy daycare since we weren’t comfortable putting her in an actual dog daycares. Our dog has absolutely thrived by spending time with Karlee. She has so much patience and love for dogs, and I honestly think our dog can sense this. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to take care of our dog. We are returning customers for sure.”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life. My first pup was a recuse from a puppy mill and we loved her for 16 years. When i was a young adult, i recused a stray tabby who sadly just past away at the ripe age of 21. We then just rescued another cat named Budweiser (not our choice but love it 😂) Now, my family and i have just finished loving our mini golden doodle in her 13th year and our hearts are missing that puppy presence. We are also a rescue foster dog family and love taking in the ones who need love the most. I have also volunteered in Nunavut at the animal rescue shelter and loved every minute of it. I am a stay at home mom who works a few hours a day at my kids school. We are a sports filled family, so after school activities are always happening but we can discuss hours that work for all of us. I have a fenced in yard and a furry friend to keep you pup company. I have a baby gate at the front door to allow the pups to sniff and meet our cat before enjoying our day together.
About: We’ve both grown up with pets in the home since we were kids and have extensive experience with dogs. We have our own dog Toby who’s a 9 year old rescue and great with anyone. Our house is spacious and there’s plenty of room for a crate or bed if needed when your pet comes to stay. We live steps to away from an off leash dog park as well as regular trips out to the mountains for walks and hikes. We both have quite flexible schedules and have open availability including WFH. Lots of time to play with the pups and getting them their needed exercise. We have a spacious home with lots of room to chill. Great new area with a dog park only steps away. Are also mobile and do regular trips out to the mountains for a good stretch !
“I am so impressed with Jeff! I think Arthur had the time of his life this past week while he was in Jeffs care. Jeff sent so many picture and video updates of Arthur having fun with all the other dogs and even sleeping on his lap (Arthur is a lab so not so much lap dog size lol) we will defiantly be using him in the. Thanks for loving my baby while I was away Jeff!”

About: Hello, pet parents! 🐾 I'm an experienced pet sitter with a passion for furry friends. As a proud owner of two playful dogs 🐶🐶, I understand the importance of love, care, and fun! Your pets will not only receive excellent care but also enjoy a playful companionship. Trust in my expertise to keep tails wagging and paws happy! 🐾 I’m currently not working so I will have plenty of time to play with your dog. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 1pm In my home, your pets are family! 🏡 Safety is my top priority; I have a fenced yard to play with toys. Your furry companions will receive constant attention, building trust through personalized care routines. I ensure a comfortable and loving atmosphere, making your pets feel right at home. 🐾💕
About: Having grown up around dogs my entire life, our home is well-equipped to house your pet while you are away. I share our home with my husband and 3 children ages 11, 8, and 3. I am open to puppies in need of a bit more attention or older dogs who need a good nap in the afternoon and some extra help throughout the day. My aim is to replicate your at home routine and activities during your pets stay to keep them as comfortable as possible. My home is their home while they are with us. We are pretty laidback and are homebodies throughout the evenings. I would love to welcome your furry friend into our home. I currently work from home with an extremely flexible schedule thus allowing me to fit my day around your pets needs. Whether it is several walks, feeding schedules or potty breaks, we can make it all happen. My 3 year old is currently home with me during this time. He is very mild tempered and aware of the respect needed for pets when in his space. Dogs are allowed to roam our home freely if potty trained. If still learning, we will spend most of our time on the main level, however, there is always room for cuddle and bedtimes together if they need some reassurance. I do not allow pets in my bed but a crate or a bed on the floor near us is allowed. I do my best to provide as close to home routines and activities as possible.
“Elizabeth and Chase were both extremely friendly, reassuring, and communicative. It was my first time having a dog sitter and nothing could have gone better. I would totally trust them 100% for future stays.”

“Nadia went above and beyond for Rambo, taking him out in a stroller, giving him homemade treats and she even had puzzles ready for him when he got there. She sent so many pictures and updates throughout the day so I felt so at ease. 100/10 sitter would definitely recommend!”

“Cheri is amazing and the pups absolutely loved her! We felt confident that our dogs would be well taken care of. Cheri was communicative, asked the right questions to understand our dogs behaviours and provided detailed information of the visits. Very happy we found Cheri :)”

“Kathryn was extremely easy to work with and timely on her responses. We were desperate for some help and she was able to fit us in despite a busy schedule. Kathryn was very caring for our dog Ted, and made sure our cat Richard was okay while we were at work. We recommend and would use her again!”

About: I've had pets since the day I was born, and they will always be a part of my life. From the endless energy of puppies and kittens to the more specialized needs of seniors, I have seen and done it all. My time working in a pet store also taught me to care for other kinds of pets, not just cats and dogs. Fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, you name it, I have probably cleaned it's cage. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I’m also certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid, so your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I am available all day, every day. I will work my schedule to suit your needs, so feel free to contact me for pet care at any time. My style of pet care is very observant and reactionary. When I meet a new pet, I like to see what sort of energy they have and match that. If your cat is shy and reserved, I will give them the time they need to get comfortable with me, rather than trying to force affection on them. If your dog is energetic and playful, I'll rub their tummy and take them for a run. Whatever your pet's personality is, I will adapt and cater to it.
“Love when Danielle takes my 2 big girls for a walk! They both have different walk styles and temperaments and she can handle them both! They come back super tired - just what they need!”

“Amie is lovely! She and my dog have gained such a great bond that she makes a special trip to NW Calgary from airdrie to walk her. My dog (Belgian malinois!) isn’t easy… so it’s really nice to have someone I trust and helps out with on-walk training.”
About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work from home, starting up my own business but I have free availability pretty much all day. I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: I’ve managed and worked in boarding facilities for 5+ years with every type of furry friend (or not so furry) that you can imagine! 🐾 Luckily, I have an open and flexible schedule. I’m doing online schooling right now so Rover will be my full time focus for this time! I have 3 cats at home, so the care I give in yours will be sure to make your fur babies feel loved and comfortable!
About: I’m Julia! I recently moved to Alberta because I love the mountains and the outdoors and I have a huge love for animals! I have had pets my whole life so I understand their needs and how to work with them! I have lots of experience with dog walking and looking after dogs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have dog sat for friends before. I am here to help you in whatever way I can and will look after your fur babies and make sure they are having fun and are looked after. I think for me this will be something good and I look forward to meeting your fur babies and doing whatever I can to help! I do have my own dog now but would love to still be able to help you out if he could come stay at your place while I pet sit (if you have dogs), or your dogs could come stay at my place. Thank you for letting me help you out! I am currently working full time but I still have lots of free time to spend looking after your fur babies and making sure they are well cared for while you are away! I always try to make sure your pets are having the best time making sure they are always fed, have water, some treats and lots of exercise if needed
“Kristen is the BEST! I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for help with their pup. Her professionalism stands above all else! Kristen genuinely cares about my pup and it is so nice to know she is in good hands.”

About: Hi, I’m Kiandra! I’m an experienced and reliable pet sitter based in Airdrie with a genuine love for animals of all kinds and personalities. I previously built a great group of clients through Rover before taking a break due to a crazy schedule the last few years and I’m now excited to return with more availability and flexibility! I have hands-on experience working at a dog kennel, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve also spent years pet sitting for friends and family, including caring for more sensitive or temperamental animals—so I’m very comfortable reading animal behaviour and adjusting my approach to make them feel safe. I currently work part-time as a psychiatric nurse, which means I have plenty of days off to dedicate to pet care. I’m dependable, attentive, and calm under pressure—qualities that translate really well when caring for animals. I enjoy crafting, gardening and baking in my spare time. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and short stays at my home. I have a large, secure backyard and can host dogs for a few hours at a time. For safety and comfort, visiting dogs are always kept completely separate from my cat. I also have a large SUV, so I’m happy to do park trips, longer walks, or transport if needed. I love keeping pet owners updated with lots of photos and messages so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. I also have a bit of a green thumb and am happy to help with watering plants and light house-sitting tasks during visits. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities and are cared for like they’re my own! Send me a message! 🪴🌞🐶 I work part time as a nurse and am happy to provide pet care on my days off! I work 8 hour shifts and can stop by before/after work some days! I have a large fenced backyard and a medium size SUV. I would prefer to keep any drop ins at my house to less than 3 to 4 hours as I will need to keep my cat separate! Happy to play in the backyard in the summer!

What sets me apart is my calm, steady energy and the way I truly treat dogs as part of the family. I stick to consistent routines, pay close attention to individual needs, and always prioritize your dog’s comfort and wellbeing. My goal is for you to feel completely confident and reassured while you’re away.
“Kelsey is AMAZING. She is very professional and quick to respond to any messages. As I am a crazy dog mom 😊 and hate leaving my baby during the day I find a sense of relief when I know she is going to be stopping by. In addition I really appreciate the fact that she takes the time to write small reviews about the day and sends photos - makes me a smile during a long day at work. As well, our puppy loves her.”

“Joanne was amazing with our Emma girl! This was our first time leaving our fur baby with Joanne she made it easier for us by providing us with photos and messages on how Emma day was going! Thanks again Joanne?”

“I can't speak highly enough about our experience with Lisa. She is kind, gentle and compassionate. Our dog was happy and well cared for with Lisa. Lisa also shared some dog training tips with me, which I greatly appreciate! Thank you, thank you!”

“Vanessa was a great sitter and I would recommend to anyone looking. It’s tough to find care for dogs 100lbs+ and Vanessa took in my boy like it was nothing. Great communication, lots of photos and she really went above and beyond in the care for my boy. I booked for 2 weeks and would definitely rebook with her if it was needed.”

“France was incredible! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog for 5 days with her and Hank. She sent me daily updates with pictures included, she was flexible with timings and so patient. Hank was such a great dog and I’m so glad he was there for my dog. Hav already discussed with France on the next time I’ll need her services!”

“Sitla was absolutely fabulous with our golden doodle, Bailey. She is so attentive and we never felt that our pup was being loved any less when we were away on vacation for a week. We received many many updates throughout and lots of photos. Would recommend her to everyone and we will definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much Sitla and family! We truly appreciate it.”

“Elizabeth was great with my senior bulldog. We got picture updates and Bailey was very happy and tired when she came home. I would definitely consider Elizabeth for future Rover visits!”

“Scott & Carly were very accessible and a pleasure to deal with. We coordinated a quick meet and greet and they even set up a drop off with my friend while I was out of town. I appreciated the attention to detail and photos. It seems like Duck was very cared for! Will definitely book with them again.”

“Great sitter, very caring. She kept me updated by sending me pictures daily, and my dog was very happy and well taken care of when I picked him up. We'll definitely go back to her next time we need boarding.”
