“We couldn’t be happier with leaving Isla with Merron. She provided a safe and comfortable space along with daily photos, updates and prompt feedback. Would definitely book with Merron again in the future.”

“Sara went above and beyond with gold standard care for our princess. We appreciated all the pictures and correspondence while away. Certainly the best dog sitter we have ever had.”

“Paula is an amazing dog sitter! She recently watched our puppy for a full week, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. She is reliable, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure our pup is happy and safe. Paula kept us updated throughout the week, sharing photos and notes that gave us real peace of mind. It’s clear that she genuinely cares for animals, and our puppy adores her. I highly recommend Paula to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets!”

“Emily was super. Excellent communication from booking right through to the end. Sent photos of Finnegan out on walks and playing. She was very knowledgeable and capable. Definitely recommend her for dog sitting your doggo.”

“Eunmee boarded Vino for two weeks and he was so happy and well taken care of. Lots of walks, naps and playtime. I couldn’t ask him to be cared for any better. Thanks Eunmee and family.”

“We could not have had better sitters for our sweet Frankie-Bear. We only had the pleasure of meeting Dane and Toby at drop-off and pick-up, but it was clear he was loved by everyone caring for him for the time he was there. Next time we’re in need of a sitter they are the first ones we’re booking. Dane is so warm and kind, and Toby so gentle, mild-mannered, and sweet; just such a wonderful experience overall knowing that our boy was in the best of hands. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello there! I'm Oindrila, you can call me Cinderella. Thanks for stopping by my profile. 🐾 I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always happiest around animals, and my own Golden Retriever, Buddy, was a huge part of my life before he sadly passed away last year. Taking care of him taught me how much patience, love, and consistency dogs need to feel happy and secure. I also gained hands-on experience caring for dogs through Rover in the U.S., where I regularly helped my aunt with dog boarding, dog walks, daycare, and daily care. Looking after dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities has only strengthened my passion for providing them with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. At the moment, I am home full-time, which means your dog will receive my full attention throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys playing, exploring, cuddling, or simply relaxing beside someone, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I offer: 🐶 Dog Walking 🏡 Doggy Day Care 🛏️ Overnight Boarding 🚪 Drop-In Visits I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! My Home I live in a quiet, safe, and dog-friendly neighborhood in Airdrie. While I don't have a private backyard, your dog will enjoy regular walks around the neighborhood, plenty of outdoor time, and lots of opportunities to sniff, explore, and exercise. Inside, my home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, giving your dog a comfortable place to relax between walks and playtime. Since I'm home throughout the day, your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of companionship, supervision, and affection. Every dog has their own personality, and I always adjust my care to match their individual needs and routine. Before Your Dog's Stay To help your dog feel as comfortable as possible, I'd love to know: * Your dog's name, age, and breed * Feeding schedule and daily routine * Any medications, allergies, or special care instructions * Energy level and exercise needs * How they interact with other dogs and people * Favorite toys, treats, and activities * Anything else that helps them feel safe and happy The more I know beforehand, the better I can make their stay feel just like home. During Their Stay Your dog's day will be built around their normal routine as much as possible. We'll start the day with a potty break and breakfast, followed by walks through the neighborhood, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of attention throughout the day. There will be plenty of time to relax, nap, cuddle, or simply enjoy a calm environment between activities. In the evening, we'll head out for another walk before dinner and wind down with quiet time and one final potty break before bed. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they receive the care, exercise, affection, and attention they deserve. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and excited to come back for another visit.
“Thank you so much Jeanette for taking care of our kitties. It seems they were happy when I did pick them up and are running back at home if nothing did happen. I would not hesitate to bring them back!”

About: I have been a proud pet parent to many cats and dogs throughout my lifetime, starting as a child. I have raised and trained dogs from puppyhood, as well as raised rescued kittens and cats. Currently, my family has a smart, friendly and endlessly curious 5-year-old male beagle, and a sweet, cuddly 11-year-old female cat. My wife, Ellen, and I are both home during the day right now and have flexible schedules. I have a very flexible schedule currently that can be adjusted around any pet care that is booked. My wife and I can take the dogs for a walk every day and provide plenty of play time to work off energy as needed. I have a fenced yard and a spacious home with many different rooms available so every one can have their space as needed. Your pet will be in company of our playful and vocal 5-year old beagle, Percy, our friendly 11-year old cat, May, and our human family of 4 (myself, my wife, and our 2 little girls).

It’s the perfect opportunity for your pup to get comfortable with me and their new environment before their extended stay. About your Sitter: Thanks for checking me out on Rover! My name is Paige, and I’m certified in Pet First-Aid and also a Fear Free Certified Professional. I am new to rover but not new to pet care. When choosing my services, you can be confident you’re choosing someone who has a strong love for animals and who takes your pet care seriously as well as keeping your pets safe. I am passionate in pursuing a professional career dog boarding and training; I am currently making my way through the necessary trainings and certifications to get there. Your pet will always be in good hands with me and very loved! Animals have been a love in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with pets, I knew I wanted one of my own one day. At a young age, I began caring for pets of family, family friends, neighbours and coworkers. I eventually got a pup of my own and enjoyed training her as a puppy into adulthood! I’d love the opportunity to also care for your fur-family! Your pets well-being, safety and health are a priority in my home and when out for walks in the neighbourhood. I am excited to give each dog the love and care they need to have the best day, always caring for them as I would my own pup. Initial meet and greets are always complimentary to ensure full comfort. I enjoy going out for walks with my dog, Lexie, on a daily basis. Walks range between 20-45 minutes at a time, 1-3x a day. It would be a pleasure to include another friend with her as well! I work from home majority of the time which allows me to be home and available for pet care as needed. I offer daycare on the days I plan to be home, and I offer boarding for 1-2 dogs from the same home and adjust my work schedule as needed for their care. I follow all instructions for pet care with diet restrictions, feeding times, exercise needs, playtime needs as well as needed affection. My girl has severe allergies, and we are a friendly home that caters to these sensitivities. I have dividers in my home to separate them at meal times if needed for allergy purposes as well. I am new to Rover as a sitter, but not new to pet care and offering safe pet care to family, friends, and recommendations through them. I’m currently pursuing the educational requirements to become a professional dog trainer and my passion is to build a successful business helping families to care and train their pets. I currently offer 1-2 spots for boarding and daycare and I have a dream to upgrade one day, to run a pet resort here in Calgary! I offer gentle and positive-reinforcing training and care within my home and also have a friendly dog. She is well trained, submissive, and extremely gentle with all dogs, including tiny breeds. She gets along with all animals and loves company! My home is very safe for providing care and puppy-proofed as needed! I am dedicated to providing a safe environment for boarding and daycare.
“Amber is amazing! She cared for our 2 dogs for 3 weeks and was just incredible! Our one pup is a senior recovering from surgery, and she was so great with meds and physio and taking all the precautions he needed in his recovery. Our other pup is an active one, and she managed to balance both their needs and is an amazing communicator! We were able to enjoy our extended trip with absolutely no worries, and also received regular updates and pics of their staycation with Amber. My pups also came away with a new best friend in Dante. To say that I highly recommend Amber is an understatement.”
“Mariana was very pleasant and responsive, and was able to provide care with short notice … she provided updates with photos. My sweet old boy seemed to be content right from the start. I would ask Mariana to take care of my Bentley again.”

“Lynett and Romeo were fantastic! Such amazing care was given to our dog! He had a great time and came home exhausted. Great with updates and pictures. We will definitely use them again! ?”

“Scott was super swift at the replies and helping me organise a quick one night stay. Moose came out of there as normal as ever so I guess it all went well!? Haha some people give off good vibes, these are definitely those people!”

About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and was lucky to spend 10 wonderful years with my golden retriever, who showed me how special a deep, trusting bond with a dog can be. I trained him in all the basics like sit, stay, wait, and leave it, and he will always hold a big place in my heart. These days, my home is shared with a playful 10-month-old bichon-poodle mix who keeps life joyful and has the sweetest bond with me as her main caregiver. I’m also a foster mom for a rescue group here in Calgary, where I open my home and heart to dogs who may need a little extra patience, reassurance, and gentle care as they settle into a safe, loving environment. When your pup is with me, I focus on following their routine and helping them feel right at home—whether that means slow, relaxed mornings, quiet cuddle time, playful moments, or simply giving them space to be themselves. I truly treat every dog like family and care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I would be honoured to give you peace of mind while giving your pup a warm, happy, and comforting experience. I’m not working at the moment, which means my schedule is very flexible. Feel free to reach out anytime—I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs and your pup’s routine. I know it can feel overwhelming for a pup to meet someone new or adjust to a different environment. That’s why I take the time to read their body language and pay attention to their unique cues, so I can better understand how they’re feeling. By approaching them with patience, empathy, and respect, I help create a safe space where they can relax and build trust at their own pace.
“Great love and care for our dogs Rosco and Skye. I felt 100% confident with leaving my dogs with her. Kourtney was more than willing to accommodate all our dogs needs during our time away. She was quick to respond to messages and it was so nice to get updates. I’ll be using Kourtney again - she was awesome.”

Paige, Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Benji while we were away. It was clear from the moment we met you and your family that he would be loved and cared for, and you absolutely exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful for all the time, attention, and affection you gave him. Knowing that Benji was happy, safe, and being treated like part of your family made it so much easier for us to be away from him. It means the world to know he was in such caring hands. Your family truly went above and beyond, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you again for everything you did! We would absolutely love to have Benji stay with you again and would recommend you to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. 10/10 experience!

Jason was GREAT with Mac, very attentive and can see how much he cares for animals. Treated Mac like he was his own. Updated daily with how he was doing. Took him on lots of walks. If you want your pet to be treated like family, I'd HIGHLY recommend Jason to look after your pet.

Kandie was a life saver! We had to arrange care for our guys with little notice and Kandie took them in! Her reviews are what made me choose her and it was a great choice. She was super accommodating and our dogs made themselves right at home as soon as we got there. She sent pictures and updates so I did t have to worry at all about how they were getting along in a new place. We will definitely hope to use Kandie next time Eddie and Indy need care :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
