Animals are my life!
I am a healthcare professional and typically work M-F 8:30-4:30 so am available to visit/walk or snuggle your pup(s) in the evenings and weekends. As of recently, I have been offering boarding in my home. I am also available to stay at your home, if your pup is most comfortable in their own space. Ask me about details/circumstances around that. I was lucky to grow up with dogs. In my adult life I've always had my own dogs. I've fostered and adopted through AARCS, and ARF as well as currebtly volunteering as a dog caregiver in the shelter and also at spay and neuter clinics around Alberta. I've also volunteered to help bath and walk dogs in a nursing home near my work. I've completed animal behavior training through my volunteer work, but have also worked with a dog trainer for my own fur babies. I will treat your dog like my own baby, with love and snuggles as much as they like. I am very comfortable around dogs and am also comfortable giving meds and helping with grooming needs. Open to discussing an adjustment of rates if you are dealing with health/financial challenges and need extended pet care. Thank you!

Lisa was absolutely amazing with our boy whilst we were on vacation. She has a genuine love for pets and takes care of them as if they’re her own. She asks great questions during the meet and greet to understand your pets needs and likes. She sent us regular updates with little messages and photos which was very much appreciated. We even came back to a lovely clean house. Highly recommend, we will definitely be using her again 👍👍👍

Lisa is sooooo great! Nothing but good words for her! I originally booked a different sitter but that sitter canceled and asked us to take Soba back as they can't handle my furbaby. It was so stressful, but Lisa was my saviour!!! She agreed to take care of Soba and didn't think twice about taking him. Soba even got along with her dog. She sent me pictures to update me whats going on with him and their daily activities. I feel so happy knowing that my furbaby is really taken care of. Thank you so much Lisa! I appreciate you. I would definitely recommend and use her service again. Thank you.
Lisa was awesome with our dog. Teddy loved her. I recommend leaving your dog with her.
Disappointed. We have complicated animals, but we are very thorough in our pet sitter selection and completely transparent about our pets needs and our expectations. We always book ample time and provide detailed instructions of the services required. While we were initially very impressed with Lisa’s maturity, professionalism and volunteer experience, after several issues during our first multi-day booking with her, we will not be using her again.

Schedule
I am available to complete drop-ins on evenings and weekends, any weather. I am also currently available to board your pet at my home, or stay woth them in their own environment. Looking forward to meeting you and your beautiful fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
I work during the day (m to f) but can come home at lunch time for pee breaks and treats. I spend time talking, playing (and sometimes singing) to your pup, to help them adjust to being away from their humans.

A typical day
Its always fun to play fetch, practice commands, swimming if the weather permits and possibly meeting other pups if the owner is comfortable with that. Snuggles are always offered ☺️ Nice yard with a doggy pool!
