About: Erin & I have had dogs all of our relationship (11+ Years strong), and each had dogs &/or cats growing up. (We currently have 3 dogs of our own, with plans on getting a Cat in future!) We love getting to know pets and their different personalities! We have capacity for check-ins only, if you're needing to go away and leave your companions we can pop in and ensure your family members get some comfort along with potty breaks as needed. (No Additional Charge for Extra Pets) Erin is a certified dog groomer so we can provide add-ons like nail trimming if required while we are checking in on your beloved family members :) We both work from home so are able to pop out to wherever you are in Airdrie and check-in on your pets while you're away anytime. Ensuring they aren't left alone for long periods & have some comfort and care. We only ever do what's asked of us in terms of checking-in and looking after your pets - We don't go snooping etc - Just there to ensure your companions are comforted and cared for while you are away.
“Kathryn was absolutely AMAZING with our girl, Jersey! We truly appreciated the loving care and dedicated time she gave to ensure our dog was happy and well taken care of while we were away. It’s so refreshing to have such an incredible dog sitter on our team. Thank you, Kathryn”

“Danielle is an absolute delight and I am SO glad we found her on rover. Our dog is really passive and shy so we set up a meeting before hand knowing she might be skittish. We were doing a stay cation close by but had we not been we have no doubt that if anyone could break through our shy girls demeanour it would have been Danielle. We popped back home on the second day just so our pupper knew we still existed and after that point she was a changed lady with Danielle. The updates and attention and care she gave our animals was incredible. Our cats are pretty easy, the one is actually annoying with how much he loves people, but our dog is so reserved that we were really worried about how this would go, but with the communication and time spent Danielle was a gem and we couldn’t have selected better.”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, and other small pets. My experience ranges from daily feeding, walking, grooming, and cleaning enclosures to providing companionship, basic training reinforcement, and medication when needed. I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved while their owners are away, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own I’m a university student with most of my classes scheduled mid-day, which gives me a flexible schedule in the mornings, evenings, and many afternoons. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, feeding times, and extended care as needed. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always follow the pet’s usual routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, and get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. I tailor care to each pet’s needs—whether that means long walks, quiet companionship, litter or enclosure cleaning, grooming, or administering medication if required. I keep owners updated with messages and photos, and I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and a calm environment so pets feel secure while their owners are away.
“Andrea was wonderful, extremely responsive and great to communicate with. She helped us out on the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so we could spend some time away from home. You can tell she really cared for our kitties and took great. Pictures will definitely hire again and recommend.”

About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.
About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember and have been around all breeds and sizes. I’ve also been around cats. Just looking to help give your pet some extra love and squeeze in some furry cuddles while trying to help you out I work approx 12 days a month an another job and I’m looking for something to fill in the time while I’m home. I’m a huge animal lover so I think this is a perfect fit In my clients home I offer dog walks, feedings, some medical care, brushing and just overall cuddles throughout the time I spend with your pet
“Kristen went above and beyond with our cats while we were gone, taking time to hang out with them and even let them outside on the leash. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re gone!”

“Alyssa truly exceeded our expectations. Before her time spent with our cats, she made sure to pop by a few weeks before to tour our home, ask/answer questions and meet our furry friends. Once she began the check-ins, she was always so elaborate with her summary reports, making them engaging and reassuring that all was well. When hiccups arrived, she was always sure to be prompt and consistant with her communication. Her respect for our home and our animals was truly appreciated. I just know that now we are home, our cats will be missing her dearly. 10/10 recommend, and we would definitely be reaching out again for her services in the future. Thank you Alyssa, for everything!”

“Cheri did an amazing job with our Maple! She made sure she was comfortable, happy, and safe. Her daily update were thorough and the photos were awesome. Thank you Cheri!”

“Alicia was great at looking after our two cats, one of which is diabetic so requires set feeding times along with insulin injections and other medication. Alicia had no problem administering the medication and was very accommodating to the feeding times we needed. She was also able to look after other tasks while we were away. Would highly recommend Alicia's services!”

“Amie consistently provides exceptional care for our dog, demonstrating remarkable professionalism and attentiveness. We regularly utilize her services, often for multiple daily visits, to ensure our dog receives necessary outdoor time and bathroom breaks. We particularly appreciate that she incorporates playtime into these visits, which greatly benefits our dog's well-being. Furthermore, Amie has been highly accommodating with schedule adjustments and last-minute booking requests, showcasing her flexibility and dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend Amie for your pet care needs.”

“Nichole made Chewy and Leia’s week with afternoon walks and visits while I was out of town. Thank you Nichole!!!! She is my go to for taking the best care of my kids and always sending me pics. 😊”

About: I’ve been caring for not only my own animals, but animals of family and friends for many years. Whatever they need they all know they can rely on me to be there for their animals while they are away. I work part time, meaning I will have lots of free time to care of and play with anyone’s fur baby. Can’t wait to meet the fur babies. I give my cat wet food everyday, change her litter when needed, change water dishes and give lots of love when I have the opportunity. I would treat any animal they way I would want my own animals to be treated.

About: Hello, fellow pet lovers! My name is Rebecca, and I'm thrilled to offer top-notch dog walking services tailored to your furry friend's needs. 🐶 About Me: I'm a passionate and dedicated canine enthusiast with 15 years of experience in caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. As a lifelong dog owner myself, I understand the importance of providing love, exercise, and stimulation to keep our beloved companions happy and healthy. I can’t wait to meet your best friend! I currently work from home as an office manager for a soccer program. I am incredibly fortunate to make my own schedule, so I can be flexible with caring for your pup! Your pup's comfort and safety are my top priority, and I will do what is required to ensure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care.
About: I've had pets since the day I was born, and they will always be a part of my life. From the endless energy of puppies and kittens to the more specialized needs of seniors, I have seen and done it all. My time working in a pet store also taught me to care for other kinds of pets, not just cats and dogs. Fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, you name it, I have probably cleaned it's cage. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I’m also certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid, so your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I am available all day, every day. I will work my schedule to suit your needs, so feel free to contact me for pet care at any time. My style of pet care is very observant and reactionary. When I meet a new pet, I like to see what sort of energy they have and match that. If your cat is shy and reserved, I will give them the time they need to get comfortable with me, rather than trying to force affection on them. If your dog is energetic and playful, I'll rub their tummy and take them for a run. Whatever your pet's personality is, I will adapt and cater to it.

My first time using a dog sitter/Walker or the Rover app. However, Kathryn has made it so easy with outstanding professionalism, communication and care. I now go to work everyday, comforted by the fact that my dog has a friend that cares for him, come by to spend time with him.

Kevin and Erin are absolutely amazing. They do drop in visits for my two pups a couple times a week. You can tell from the first few minutes of meeting that these two are dog people. They are great with communicating visit details. My pups absolutely love their visits. Thank you for taking such great care of my girls when I can’t be there during the day.

Thank you Nichole for your great care of Chewy and Princess Leia again! Nichole shows so much love to my babies each time she visits and walks them. She always takes care to keep in mind any health issues they are having and has been flexible when schedule changes pop-up. She is phenomenal!

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Airdrie choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
