“We are so grateful for Cheri!!! Not even mentioning her impressive credentials, she is very accommodating, dependable and respectful. It is a huge relief to have someone we trust with our smallest family members on those busy days. Thank you Cheri”

“The freakin best!!! Seriously. I don’t even want to give her 5 stars because I don’t want others to steal her from me hahaha she’s on time, consistent, amazing with my dog and truly loves what she does. She’s a joy and I’m so grateful I found her on Rover!”

“Amie is lovely! She and my dog have gained such a great bond that she makes a special trip to NW Calgary from airdrie to walk her. My dog (Belgian malinois!) isn’t easy… so it’s really nice to have someone I trust and helps out with on-walk training.”
“Love when Danielle takes my 2 big girls for a walk! They both have different walk styles and temperaments and she can handle them both! They come back super tired - just what they need!”

About: I've had pets since the day I was born, and they will always be a part of my life. From the endless energy of puppies and kittens to the more specialized needs of seniors, I have seen and done it all. My time working in a pet store also taught me to care for other kinds of pets, not just cats and dogs. Fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, you name it, I have probably cleaned it's cage. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I’m also certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid, so your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority. I am available all day, every day. I will work my schedule to suit your needs, so feel free to contact me for pet care at any time. My style of pet care is very observant and reactionary. When I meet a new pet, I like to see what sort of energy they have and match that. If your cat is shy and reserved, I will give them the time they need to get comfortable with me, rather than trying to force affection on them. If your dog is energetic and playful, I'll rub their tummy and take them for a run. Whatever your pet's personality is, I will adapt and cater to it.
About: I bring a gentle, patient, and structured approach to every pet I care for. Animals and I often have similar interests… a nice walk, a cozy spot to rest by the fire place, and cookies. Beyond our mutual interests, I’m mindful of their comfort, their boundaries, and their little quirks. My philosophy is simple: pets deserve to be respected as their own beings, with their own needs, routines, and personalities. I’ve cared for animals for over 20 years. I’m experienced with puppies, seniors, diabetic and medical-needs pets, high-energy breeds, and reactive or anxious animals (though we do not accept reactive pets for boarding). I can confidently give medication (including injections), handle special routines, and support training basics like leash manners, sit, stay, and crate comfort. Our home is calm, spacious, and intentionally set up to feel cozy and safe. We have a fenced yard for free play, quiet spaces throughout the house, and the flexibility to tailor environments to each pet: quiet nooks, soft blankets, sunny nap spots, or space to play. We live adjacent to safe, and pet friendly trails and green spaces for on-leash adventures. I make pets feel welcome by meeting them exactly where they’re at—soft voice, slow approach, cuddles if they want them, playtime when they’re ready, and a home filled with warmth. I’m adaptable, attentive, and thoughtful about every small detail that helps pets feel grounded and comfortable. My friends would say I comfort animals the way some people comfort children—and honestly, that’s true. I treat pets with the same presence and patience I give my own family. They get luxury comforts, steady routines, lots of care, and the freedom to be unapologetically themselves. I’m happy to send photo updates and keep you in the loop however you prefer. Most of all, I’m here to give your pet a cozy, calm, and loving experience from the moment they arrive. I am a stay at home mom, who routinely cares for pets in our home, and in the community. I take a lot of pride in offering adaptable care to the pets who come stay with us! I’ve come home full-time from a career in the legal sector, and I’m loving the time I get to spend with my family and furry friends. In My Home: I offer a calm, cozy, and well-structured environment where pets can settle in at their own pace. I pay close attention to their comfort, body language, and individual needs—whether that means quiet spaces to decompress, soft places to nap, room to play, or one-on-one attention. I maintain predictable routines, gentle handling, and a low-stress atmosphere. I can tailor different areas of our home so each pet feels safe and supported, and I’m experienced with special diets, medication (including injections), and unique care plans. In Your Home (Drop-Ins): My focus is to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible. This includes feeding, water refresh, litter or outdoor breaks, medication if needed, enrichment, exercise, and companionship based on what your pet enjoys. I use a soft, patient approach—always respecting boundaries, energy levels, and comfort.

Amie helped us out with a last minute request to walk our dogs while we were away for the day. It was our first time working with Amie and from the start, she was very professional. She arranged a ‘meet and greet’ the day before and our two dogs immediately fell in love with her. She asked all the relevant questions and took notes on any important information we provided. On the day she cared for our dogs, she maintained excellent communication and provided photos during her visit. She showed great judgment when the weather took a turn for the worse and checked in with us on whether or not it was suitable to walk the dogs and how they responded to inclement weather conditions. I would highly recommend Amie to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional to care for their pets.

Serrina has been great with my dog! She’s been very reliable and communicative. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she walks, and I feel confident knowing my dog is in great hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional dog walker!
