My style of pet care is very observant and reactionary. When I meet a new pet, I like to see what sort of energy they have and match that. If your cat is shy and reserved, I will give them the time they need to get comfortable with me, rather than trying to force affection on them. If your dog is energetic and playful, I'll rub their tummy and take them for a run. Whatever your pet's personality is, I will adapt and cater to it.

A typical day
For dogs, we'll go on a walk on their usual route a few times, so we can get to know each other. Then we'll explore new walk routes together, play with whatever toys they like, and maybe enjoy a treat or two if they behave. For cats, I'll play with them with whatever toy they decide is interesting that day.

Pet care experience
I've had pets since the day I was born, and they will always be a part of my life. From the endless energy of puppies and kittens to the more specialized needs of seniors, I have seen and done it all. My time working in a pet store also taught me to care for other kinds of pets, not just cats and dogs. Fish, birds, rodents, rabbits, you name it, I have probably cleaned it's cage. I’m home full-time, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and consistent care. I’m also certified in Red Cross Pet First Aid, so your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority.

After other theories for our cat fell through, we messaged Robert on shorter notice than anyone would probably recommend! Communication was great and he took it in stride. I wouldn’t consider our cat too high-maintenance, but she is kind of quirky. He worked with her and the regular updates showed they were becoming friends by the time we returned. She clearly did well and we won’t hesitate to book him again for future feline needs. Thank you!

I met Bob years ago when he worked at Petsmart in Richmond BC. My daughter and he worked together and later became married. Through the years they have had many different pets, (cats, geckos, frogs, and a ferret), however Bob seems to have an affinity with any animal. My Bernadoodle absolutely loves him! Bob is calm and patient but will also jump in and.play and run around like he^s having the best time.of his life. He's knowledgable in petcare and training and would be a perfect fit looking after any pet with love and affection.
Bob is awesome with pets - and my grumpy-ass cat agreeing with that is basically magic. Our cat doesn’t like most people and usually treats strangers like suspicious furniture that gets hisses. But Bob is patient, calm, and great at reading the room/pet. He took things slowly, earned his trust, and now he’s one of the very few humans our cat will actively snuggle with. And I don’t mean a polite little cuddle. I mean heavy-duty, drooly, “OH MY GOD IT’S BOB” snuggling. We’ve even watched their cuddle sessions on the Furbo, and were like "what is even happening..." On top of that, Bob handled everything perfectly. Litter box cleaned, area kept tidy, kitty inhaler given as needed, and any requests were taken care of quickly. Super reliable, easy to communicate with, and we always felt totally at ease. If you want someone who can handle both the chores and the emotional politics of pet who is more than a bit sassy, Bob’s your guy.
