About: Hello dog lovers! Growing up with dogs my whole life gave me tons of experience in regards of caring for dogs as well as playing with them. I also am the proud mom of a German Shorthaired Pointer who needs lots of play time and would love to become friend with your dog if this is the kind of service you would be looking for! I am a flight attendant with a very flexible schedule so I can accomodate to come in your house when you need me to as well. What ever special care your pet needs, I am confident I can give them the attention they need, in the environment of your preferences. I am excited to meet you and your furry friend! I go on a walk of minimum an hour everyday with my dog Matcha so getting some exercise done is no problem! Depending on the energy levels and the weather, I typically go in the mornings but sometimes go for a second outing in the afternoon/evening. I have a fenced yard with easy access from a doggy door that can also be closed as well as two crates indoors if needed. I have a designated place for potty in the backyard and feel very confident to keep any dog safe even out on a walk!
About: Hi there!!! My name is Malorie, I'm 40 years old and I have spent a good chunk of my life with at least 1 pet at any given time. I currently have a 6 yr old female pitbull/terrier mix who is as gentle as can be. I wouldn't have to bring her if she didn't get along with your fur babies. I may be able to work around that situation and leave mine with my folks if it's not too long of a visit. (Ex: 2 weeks) I would appreciate a meet and greet to ensure it's the right fit. I am a big softie, and I'm not lying when I say your pet will be spoiled :) I can't wait to meet you and your furry family member. Over the years,I have cared for many types of animals. Dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, you name it! I'm only offering care in the clients home. (As I mentioned, I rent) I have experience pet sitting up to 6 dogs at once. So if you have just a couple of pets, it will be a breeze. Look forward to hearing from you!!! WHEN IN DOUBT, PLEASE REACH OUT!!! I'm available most days at most times. Although the app may show that I am busy or booked during a time that you would like to hire me, there may be a way for us to work something out, if you just ask. As there may only be an overlap of a couple of hours, with yourself and another client. If you feel that my prices are too high- we may be able to modify them. Please note that I have been with Rover for 2 years and I have been looking after friends and families animals for approximately 22 years. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby!! I am only available to sit in the client's home, which is good news for your pet, as they won't have the extra stress added that can be caused by leaving their own home and going to a different one. Thanks
About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work from home, starting up my own business but I have free availability pretty much all day. I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.
“Kristen took my dog for a series of lunchtime walks these last few weeks and was great! She was fantastic at communicating pre/post walk and my dog loved her. Would definitely hire Kristen again soon.”

I do have my own dog now but would love to still be able to help you out if he could come stay at your place while I pet sit (if you have dogs), or your dogs could come stay at my place. Thank you for letting me help you out! I am currently working full time but I still have lots of free time to spend looking after your fur babies and making sure they are well cared for while you are away! I always try to make sure your pets are having the best time making sure they are always fed, have water, some treats and lots of exercise if needed

“Rachel and Felix are absolutely amazing dog walkers! They took care of Blake with so much love and attention — beyond anything we could have imagined. Blake came home happy, tired, and clearly had an incredible time with them. We couldn’t be more grateful and highly recommend them to anyone looking for truly wonderful care for their dog!”

“I booked Sara's services for a second week in a row, she is absolutely wonderful and am grateful for her spending her time coming out walking our pup. She is very reliable and love getting updates on how the visit went. Thank you again Sara!”

About: I've been caring for animals since I was a teenager, helping on a family friend's farm. I mostly helped with feeding and cleaning pens, occasionally chasing down Quail. I've also cared for a friend's dog who had a small injury that required a medicated cream daily, as well as a small dog who takes a pill every day. I currently have no other form of employment so I am readily available for all pet sitting and care needs. I am available for overnight stays up to two weeks at no extra cost as I cannot host dogs overnight at my house. I care for my pet in the best way I know how, providing a safe, loving environment with stimulation, fresh water daily, and lots of toys and treats. I feed my dog a specific diet and healthy treats because I believe their diet has a huge impact on quality and length of their life.
About: I have had pets since I was young, and I have always been responsible for taking care of those animals, whether it’s walking them, cleaning up after them, bathing them, training them, and overall just making sure the animals are living in a very high-quality environment. I have both a cat and a dogs. My dog is a bit larger, so I am knowledgeable on how to properly take care of a larger dog. I have also taken care of small dogs that my family and friends have had. Overall, I find I get along great with any animal! Respecting their boundaries is very important to me! I just finished my first year of university and I am working over the summer! I work most days but with a flexible schedule that allows me to check on your pets throughout the day! In my home my dog is outside and inside, but our cat stays inside. I value their safety, and although my dog is outside sometimes, I check on them frequently and give them constant attention to ensure that they are okay. In a clients home, I will follow their guidelines on whether or not the pets are indoors or outdoors, and I will give frequent attention to maintain their safety and well-being.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Crossfield choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 87% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
