About: I lived with a friend on a hobby farm. She showed me the ropes. I learned how to take care of all animals big and small. I am willing and able to assist in medicine administration. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work full time in the city and I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I’m very good with early mornings and late night visits. I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.

About: Hello! My name is Luisa, and my pets are my whole world. I promise to take care of your babies as if they were my own. I am especially passionate about working with animals who may be fearful or have special needs. I have previously completed a two-year apprenticeship under a force-free dog trainer in Calgary, and although I am not currently working as a trainer due to completing my master's, what I learned informs all my interactions with animals. Through fostering and our own pets, I have experience administering medications to a wide range of animals (dogs, cats, bearded dragons, geckos, hedgehogs). At home, my husband and I have two dogs, a cat, and a multitude of reptiles and exotics. We also foster from time to time, which has given us experience with so many other species and personalities. Please let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to answer them. I am in Red Deer for a practicum placement Monday-Wednesday, and in Calgary the remainder of the week. I can be somewhat flexible with this, so please feel free to message me! My pets would describe me as a helicopter mom, I would describe me as attentive! When I travel, our pet-sitter gets a multi-page document on everyone's needs, so I am not intimidated to receive the same; this just means I can adjust my routine to your pet(s)'...it is their home after all!

About: I’ve had dogs since I can remember and have been around all breeds and sizes. I’ve also been around cats. Just looking to help give your pet some extra love and squeeze in some furry cuddles while trying to help you out I work approx 12 days a month an another job and I’m looking for something to fill in the time while I’m home. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds ever since I was a child. I have always had a passion for animals and have never lived in a home without them. Friends, families, neighbours, and colleagues have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and brush their furry loved ones. I have two dogs (Buddo and Eevee) who are trained off leash and on leash; they are incredibly friendly and love to play with other dogs. I am a teacher with full-time availability for doggy day care, walks, or checking in on your furry loved ones in the summer! Once the school year starts up, I am only available on weekends. When caring at my own home: I have two friendly dogs of my own, with a very large backyard for play time. The yard is split into two separately fenced areas, which allows for some quiet time from my own dogs if necessary. When caring in your home: I am comfortable crating your furry friend, administering medication, and following special feeding instructions if necessary. I send regular photo updates, along with feeding/water updates to ensure you know that your loved ones are safe and cared for.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years and have an amazing ability for having them relate to me. I am only working a full day on Friday's and my husband works out of a home office so I am very flexible regarding availability. I live on an acreage with a fenced yard and two friendly Maltese dogs and a dog friendly cat named Nigel. Dogs names are Maggie and Monty.

About: Have done a lot of fostering for an animal rescue so comfortable with a large variety of breeds. We enjoy getting out so your dogs won’t be bored. I work in a school so I am off on weekends, all major holidays and all summer. But love daily walks and my schedule is very accommodating. I have a fenced yard with two friendly dogs. We do have cats in the home but they don’t care about other pets. Non smoking home.

I keep doors, gates, and leashes secure at all times, and I never let a pet off-leash unless the owner has clearly approved it in a safe area.make sure pets have fresh water, a clean and comfortable space, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and attention. I also watch for any changes in behaviour, appetite, or health, and I contact the owner immediately if I notice anything unusual. In a client’s home, I respect their property, keep the area clean, and make sure everything is locked and secure before I leave. I will also send photos and updates so the owner knows their pet is safe and doing well.

About: I’m Julia! I recently moved to Alberta because I love the mountains and the outdoors and I have a huge love for animals! I have had pets my whole life so I understand their needs and how to work with them! I have lots of experience with dog walking and looking after dogs. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have dog sat for friends before. We just lost our german shepherd to cancer so would love to extend my home out to caring for your dog while your away. I am a stay at home mom so your dog(s) will rarely be alone. I worked at a kennel for two years so have vast experience with all different types of breeds/personalities and have experience administering medications if need be. Our daughter is 5 years old and is extremely gentle and safety aware of dogs. Your pet will be treated like family in our care. I have open and flexible availability. I work from home part-time so will be home with your pet at all times and will be able to go on frequent walks with them. We have a fenced yard with lots of dog toys and a big house for them to roam as no spaces are off limits. I have a fenced yard and designated pet area inside home for pets to relax. If you are using my pet services I do need your animal to be good with cats and dogs as we have one senior friendly dog and a cat. Also; have a young daughter so your pets must be good with kids as well.

About: We welcome only one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup enjoys a calm, personalized stay with our family in a peaceful home setting. My retired parents love having dogs around and are home throughout the day, so your dog has plenty of company, care, and attention. Your pup is rarely left alone. We know every dog is different, so we take the time to learn their routine, personality, and what helps them feel comfortable. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, relaxed and at home while you’re away. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve wracking. I’m always happy to do a meet & greet before the first stay. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. My parents are both retired and genuinely love having dogs around the house. Between my parents and me, there’s almost always someone home, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day. We also only take a small number of dogs at a time because we want each one to get plenty of attention and feel comfortable here, not just be one of many. We have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely run and play, along with plenty of cozy spots inside. We also back onto a park, so walks are easy and there’s always something new to explore.

I help out at a farm outside of Airdrie that has lots of barn cats, and I help socialize, play and feed them on a weekly basis. I am currently working full time during the week, and make time when I can whether it’s early morning, evenings or weekends I can come by and check on your pet :) I make sure that whichever animal I take care for get sufficient amount of exercise and care they need throughout the day/ evening. If medications are needed, I make sure to administer that at the time they are normally scheduled for.
