About: Hello there! I'm Oindrila, you can call me Cinderella. Thanks for stopping by my profile. 🐾 I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always happiest around animals, and my own Golden Retriever, Buddy, was a huge part of my life before he sadly passed away last year. Taking care of him taught me how much patience, love, and consistency dogs need to feel happy and secure. I also gained hands-on experience caring for dogs through Rover in the U.S., where I regularly helped my aunt with dog boarding, dog walks, daycare, and daily care. Looking after dogs of different breeds, ages, and personalities has only strengthened my passion for providing them with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. At the moment, I am home full-time, which means your dog will receive my full attention throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys playing, exploring, cuddling, or simply relaxing beside someone, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I offer: 🐶 Dog Walking 🏡 Doggy Day Care 🛏️ Overnight Boarding 🚪 Drop-In Visits I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your furry friend is happy and well cared for. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! My Home I live in a quiet, safe, and dog-friendly neighborhood in Airdrie. While I don't have a private backyard, your dog will enjoy regular walks around the neighborhood, plenty of outdoor time, and lots of opportunities to sniff, explore, and exercise. Inside, my home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly, giving your dog a comfortable place to relax between walks and playtime. Since I'm home throughout the day, your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of companionship, supervision, and affection. Every dog has their own personality, and I always adjust my care to match their individual needs and routine. Before Your Dog's Stay To help your dog feel as comfortable as possible, I'd love to know: * Your dog's name, age, and breed * Feeding schedule and daily routine * Any medications, allergies, or special care instructions * Energy level and exercise needs * How they interact with other dogs and people * Favorite toys, treats, and activities * Anything else that helps them feel safe and happy The more I know beforehand, the better I can make their stay feel just like home. During Their Stay Your dog's day will be built around their normal routine as much as possible. We'll start the day with a potty break and breakfast, followed by walks through the neighborhood, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of attention throughout the day. There will be plenty of time to relax, nap, cuddle, or simply enjoy a calm environment between activities. In the evening, we'll head out for another walk before dinner and wind down with quiet time and one final potty break before bed. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I'll make sure they receive the care, exercise, affection, and attention they deserve. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and excited to come back for another visit.
“Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little guy. Sent lots of photos and kept me updated with prompt replies throughout the day. Dakota came back ready for a long long nap”

“Kate is a wonderful pet sitter who took excellent care of our puppy! Right off the bat when we first met her we got an excellent first impression. She is very warm and friendly and was great with our baby! We were very happy to receive pictures and updates! Thanks again Kate!”
“Louise was awesome with my dogs. She replied in a timely manner and updated me throughout their stay. I'm sure the dogs had lots of fun with her. We will definitely use her service again when next we're in town.”

“This is a Eliza’s first experience of being away from home. She’s been here for the last three Sundays. She really loves it and is treated very well. We no longer have any anxiety about leaving her in a doggy daycare. Thanks.”

About: My family got a cat when i was 8 years old and a few years after we got a dog and it was always my responsibility to take care of them, walk daily, clean litter box. Now we also have a cat (Flynn, 3 y.o) and a dog (Chester, 2,4 y.o). They are so friendly with other animals! Flynn loves to walk on the leash and hike mountains with us. And so does Chester! We are active and outgoing family. And will love and take care about your pets just like they are our own! I am working from home so I am flexible and able to fit pet care into my schedule easily. Happy to walk your dogs morning and evenings, could let them in the backyard multiple times a day! I have a large fenced yard and very friendly dog to play with yours! Chester (our pup) is very gentle and always ready to play! I also have an XL size of a crate just in case.
“I brought Bowie over a few days before for piece of mind since I’ve never left her with anyone but family before. Tabitha and her husband were so great! They love dogs and I knew instantly Bowie was going to have a great time and feel right at home. They sent me photos throughout her time. I will definitely use their services again and recommend to family and friends!”

About: I have always had pets since I am a kid, currently I have a miniature Schnauzer 2.5 years old, he is allowed on the sofa and he sleeps on his bed at night, I don't like the crate concept. He has never damage anything in the house. He also enjoys going on the chair by the window to distract himself. I work from home and have a fenced backyard so my dog goes outside often and on sunny days he likes to take the sun outside. When I leave the house the max amount of time I have ever leave him alone is 6 hours, the average is 4 hours. Your dog will be treated equally, with love, attention, snuggling on the coach when we watch tv, sleeping where they like it and able to use the backyard and toys. I have a 15 years old daughter who loves dogs too, and we alternate to walk the dog on daily basis every afternoon. I work from home, and have a dog, so your dog will rarely be alone. When I go out its usually for a max of 6 hours, average 4 hours. I have a fenced backyard, dogs are treated with love and lots of cuddles, there are many toys too, they can sleep wherever they please, I have blocked the bedrooms area, my dog sleeps in the living room or the sofa. Yours can do the same, I advice you bring their own bed so they have something familiar.
About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember and was lucky to spend 10 wonderful years with my golden retriever, who showed me how special a deep, trusting bond with a dog can be. I trained him in all the basics like sit, stay, wait, and leave it, and he will always hold a big place in my heart. These days, my home is shared with a playful 10-month-old bichon-poodle mix who keeps life joyful and has the sweetest bond with me as her main caregiver. I’m also a foster mom for a rescue group here in Calgary, where I open my home and heart to dogs who may need a little extra patience, reassurance, and gentle care as they settle into a safe, loving environment. When your pup is with me, I focus on following their routine and helping them feel right at home—whether that means slow, relaxed mornings, quiet cuddle time, playful moments, or simply giving them space to be themselves. I truly treat every dog like family and care for them as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care, and I would be honoured to give you peace of mind while giving your pup a warm, happy, and comforting experience. I’m not working at the moment, which means my schedule is very flexible. Feel free to reach out anytime—I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs and your pup’s routine. I know it can feel overwhelming for a pup to meet someone new or adjust to a different environment. That’s why I take the time to read their body language and pay attention to their unique cues, so I can better understand how they’re feeling. By approaching them with patience, empathy, and respect, I help create a safe space where they can relax and build trust at their own pace.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Crossfield commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AB ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
