About: Hello! I’m Brooke and I am a recent university graduate with a passion for animals. I am currently a month post-op from ACL reconstruction surgery and quickly recovering! As I am getting sturdy on my feet it brings me joy caring for beloved pets even if that only means kitties and smaller furry friends in this initial stage of recovery. I spent one year volunteering at Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society at their cat shelter where I cared for the cats, fed them, and cleaned their kennels. Additionally, I have had dogs in my home my whole life and I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and caring for them! I currently have flexible hours during every day of the week. I have tons of free time that I’d love to dedicate to ensuring your furry friend has their needs through the day and even when you’re on vacation I work from home, starting up my own business but I have free availability pretty much all day. I hardly ever leave the province and can dedicate as much time needed with your fur babies as you need! I won’t have pets in my home as I have a cat myself, but I will ensure I know where all food, treats, toys and everything else they require before you leave. I will ask for an emergency response plan in the event I need to get ahold of you asap. I also have my own reliable transportation and will ask for the vet you use in dire emergencies. I will also supervise play time as I know how quick everything can go sideways. I also am very clean, if there’s a mess from your pet, it’ll be cleaned. And I have no problem cleaning litter boxes as well.
